    Miso Asian Salad
    Steve A.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I attended a reunion here with 30-40 guests held in the outside patio area. The servers did an amazing job of keeping up with drink orders and dining orders from individuals as we milled around and eventually sat down to eat. How they kept everyone straight and presented everyone with the correct checks at the end of the meal is beyond me. The menu tends to be an upscale version of a sports bar menu with a large selection of appetizers and burgers, but also a surprising variety of salads and other dishes. I had the miso Asian salad, which was fantastic, very refreshing and light. Yet a large enough serving to be satisfying. They also have an extensive selection of beers, including some dark ones that are my favorites. All in all, an excellent experience.

We were staying at the Marriott down the street and had a day to spare before our flight so we found this restaurant on Google. Located in a strip style plaza shopping center. Lots of parking and nice, clean area. We stopped in around 11:30 am on Saturday. We were greeted right away and sat down at a comfy booth. Love the inside, lots of t.v.s with games on, nice bar and simple/clean decor. Our server was excellent, really knew the menu and always checked on us to make sure we were good. We ordered a mexican standoff cocktail, so good and not too sweet. Also got the blue cheese chips OMG these are a must. The flavors are incredible and the quality of the chips was 10 out of 10. I got the vegetarian burger with a side salad and my guy got the regular burger with fries. The veggie burger was super soft and fell apart but wow it was so delicious. Side salad was just mid. Burger and fries, also excellent. We were highly impressed with the service and the food - highly recommend!

I've had some great experiences here and a few not-so-great ones, but this last visit was just okay. The service was slow, not because it was busy, but because the server seemed a bit aloof. My cocktail didn't arrive until almost the same time as my meal, and when I asked for a straw, he forgot about me. Normally that wouldn't bother me, but the drink came in a tall, narrow glass where all the ice slides forward when you tip it, making it almost impossible to sip. I still chose to come here because I really like the variety on their menu compared to other nearby spots. They have some great healthy options, and the overall menu feels a bit more upscale, which I appreciate. The place has a dark, cozy ambiance and a cocktail-lounge vibe that feels surprisingly refined for somewhere with "tavern" in the name. 5 stars for the food, 4 for the wait time albeit the server was friendly and hospitable.

My intention was to stop for Happy Hour. Unfortunately it ended at 6pm. I stayed and ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks. Great location by the airport. It was pleasantly surprised it wasn't crowded or too loud. Kevin at the bar was great. Very attentive and polite. I started with the Passion Fruit Mojito. It was great and not too sweet. I learned Marlow's make their own syrups. For the appetizers I ordered the Seared Beef Carpaccio. Good portion, tasty, would order again. The second appetizer was the wings with Buffalo sauce. I really enjoyed them. Perfect for a light snack. I will go back to try dinner. They have a nice indoor/outdoor bar with TV's and music.

Marlow's is in my steady rotation of restaurants that I frequent when I'm in the Waterford Lakes area. On this particular Saturday night there were low crowds and no wait for a table. I do have a tendency to eat on the early side, though. I think we were there by 6pm. Service was impeccable tonight and usually is. I have only had poor service here once over the years. My Grinch cocktail was creamy and delicious with just a nice, small hint of mint. My steak salad was a generous size and perfectly flavored. My son enjoyed his steak and his dad enjoyed his chicken piccata. His only complain was that it appeared to have no salt. Once that was added, it was very enjoyable,

My husband and I just wanted to get a quick drink and appetizer so we decided to stop by Marlow's Tavern. When we walked in they had a musician playing guitar and singing which was really nice. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender with menus and a smile. We decided to order the PARMESAN CRAB DIP for an appetizer, the POMEGRANATE SPICE MOJITO and the TROPICAL RUM PUNCH for cocktails. The food and drinks were served to us relatively fast which is always a plus. The crab dip was hot, fresh, and cheesy, it had really good seasoning and was the perfect appetizer for us two to share. Both cocktails were delicious, light, and refreshing. We would definitely order the same cocktails again. This was the perfect place for a quick little date night at the bar. Food, service, and vibes were a 10/10 we'll definitely be back to get more appetizers and try other cocktails.

Good food, reasonably priced and verrry, verry chill, but lively atmosphere. During our 1 night stay in Orlando, we dined at Marlow's Tavern on a beautiful Saturday evening. We decided to dine at Marlow's after taking a short stroll around the area near our hotel. We didn't do ANNNYY research what so ever on the menu, but we heard the live music and it looked like a decent restaurant (after I did a quick check of the reviews), so we gave it a shot. We were quickly seated indoors (by our choice) when we arrived and service was friendly and quick throughout the night. The menu was typical gastropub with a variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. After a few minutes of mulling over the menu, we got our kids the Kids Chicken Fingers and Kids Mac N Cheese, while my better half settled on the Infamous Fish Tacos and I got the Brisket Grilled Cheese. First, the Kids items - SO GOOD that my wife and I would have more than happy to eat it for our kids. The Mac N Cheese was super hot and fresh and ooooozzy good. It was the type of mac and cheese that we love. The Kids Chicken Fingers were super crispy and ALSO verrrry, verrry good. Typically, a restaurant doesn't put much time into making Kids' items, but these might as well have been on the adult, regular menu because they were so crispy and delicious. As for my wife's Infamous Fish Tacos, I had a small bite and it was solid. My wife loved her dish though and raved about how good it was. For my Brisket Grilled Cheese, I really liked it, but I DID feel that the bread was a bit overcooked and burnt. With every bite, there was this charred taste. It wasn't terrible, but I would have preferred the bread to be less burnt. The brisket was very tasty though. One thing I do want to mention was that my entree and the Chicken Fingers arrived with fries and the fries were sooooooo gooooood. They were obviously freshly cut and addictively delicious. Overall, good restaurant, we loved the food and the place was busy, but not overly so where the service came to a crawl. Definitely a great spot to grab a bit, especially if you're staying in one of the nearby hotels.

Decided to have dinner here tonight while we had some time before we had to pick up our boys. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband ordered the wings. Our server was very friendly and had the kitchen prepare my tacos without any black beans. The tacos were delicious but came out a little greasy. My husband loved his tavern wings. They were listed as an appetizer but the portion was enough for his entree. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was that it was freezing cold inside so it was hard to enjoy our food and the other being that our server was hard to find. We actually had to ask another server for more bleu cheese and to refill our waters. Overall, we had a great meal and will be back to try more items on the menu.

This was a top tier Friday night! The hostess gave a warm greeting and welcomed us right in; seating outside took 20 seconds. Our server, Connor, was super friendly and engaging. He answered my odd questions about a menu item and tended to us very well throughout the night. We started with the tempura mushrooms which arrived quickly, piping hot and delicious! We had the veggie burger, the quinoa bowl and steak. Everything was fantastic. The bowl was just what I needed after a long day full of activities. We enjoyed sitting outside in a well placed corner table that was cozy a comfortable. This was a great experience from the second we walked in to the second we left.

We've been looking for a place to eat before and after flights. We finally found it! Loved the cozy atmosphere. Happy hour was really good prices. Plus a varied menu. They open at 11:30a and close at 10p. It took us 5 years to find our spot near the airport!

I went in because the reviews were pretty good but honestly I was not that impressed. It was pretty empty yet service was a tad slow. One person took my drink order stating they were helping my waiter but there was literally no one else seated. Mike came eventually and I asked what he recommended. I settled on the shrimp and crab nacho plate and the ranch wings from the happy hour menu. The shrimp and crab nacho were so disappointing. The crab was imitation and the one shrimp on each chip were the frozen salad shrimp. There was some other sauce or cream in it but it just was not good. The wings were ok, they could have been fried a little harder but they had a decent taste. With service being as slow as it was I didn't bother to order anything else. Again it was very empty so it was pretty quiet aside from the music playing. Too many other tried and true options in the area to say that I would go back.

I took the 7 minute walk from the Hampton to dine here on a Friday evening in Orlando FL, kicking off a planned cruise the next day. The place was packed, which leads by me believe it's popular. The young lady hosting was wonderful - greeting people, letting them know their wait times, and orchestrating with the waitstaff. After maybe ten minutes, she asked me if I would be okay for eating at the bar, where a spot had just opened up. I ate at the outside section of the large oval bar, and it was perfect. It was a beautiful evening. The male and female bartenders were friendly, efficient, and made some wonderful suggestions when I was asking their opinions on certain dishes. I went with the black and blue burger, asparagus fries, and jalapeño grits. The male bartender told me how much he enjoyed the asparagus fries and also the jalapeño grits, and they didn't disappoint. The Gorgonzola sauce on the burger was addictive (no ketchup or mustard needed on THIS burger order). When I said as much to the female bartender, she agreed, saying how, if anything, people asked for extra sauce on the side, which she then promptly brought out for me. It was my first time trying asparagus fries, and these and the grits were phenomenal. I enjoyed two draft beers to go along with it, and walked back to the hotel a happy man, stopping by the front desk to thank the young lady for the recommendation.

I opted for something that I've seen in the stores but haven't purchased yet. I was able to try both the dancing panda eight year as well as the dancing panda 10 year. A cheaper bottle of bourbon but definitely good flavor. The 10 was my favorite. For food, I got an order of the S & S sweet potato fries, which comes with a light caramel drizzle. These fries are cooked perfectly and so delicious. My husband got the garlic Parm wings, and while the crunch was perfect on them.(he ordered them crunchy) -he was not a fan of their garlic Parmesan sauce. It just felt like the garlic, overpowered any of the Parmesan. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and the two bartenders that were working the bar, were excellent and very attentive.

Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. So added it to the bowl to calm the sweet and it worked well. Overall, this place isn't worth queuing for, but still pretty good considering its location. Solid 6/10 for me.

Happy Hour is every day from 3-6pm and 8:30pm-close. I got here like 10 minutes before 6 so I put in a bunch of items. $12 burrata was excellent. I love the pesto, and the flavor overall. The best item of the night. Up next, the $10 Nasvhille hot wings. You get 6 wings. These were good too. Not Hattricks in Tampa good, but certainly up there on the rankings. Then, $10 brussels sprouts. Not crispy or charred enough for me, but they were still good. For drinks, I tried the $11 Delaney's Rita Spicy. Ooooohweee delicious! I also tried a $17 smoke em if you got em. This wasn't one of my favorite mezcals I've ever had. It was actually hard to taste the mezcal. I wouldn't order this one again. Tons of seats at the bar. Lots of sports on the TV's. It was absolutely packed on a Friday at 6pm. I didn't have any issues parking in the parking garage located behind the restaurant. Parking was free. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but a great hidden gem!

Let me just say -- I absolutely love American Social!…read more I come here pretty often, and every single time I'm treated incredibly well. The staff is beyond friendly and always welcoming, the food is amazing, and the drinks are just as impressive. Everything is consistently on point. But what really sets American Social apart is the vibe. The energy, the atmosphere, the overall experience -- it's unmatched. It's the kind of place you go to and never want to leave. If you're looking for a bar with great service, great food, and unbeatable vibes, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Good Vibes, But a Few Misses…read more We recently visited American Social for brunch and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.
