I always bring my cars here for service. It's been 6-7 years and the father-son duo here has always been upfront with me. They have provided fair pricing and service. One thing to consider is that it's only them two working on your car, so it may take a bit longer than the stealership but this indy shop has their stuff on lock. As a matter of fact, they were able to diagnose and correct an issue that other shops were not able to. Their location is hidden in the RV Service Center. Since it's fairly small and tight, I usually call to confirm they can take my car in. The service I get the most is oil change. They use German synthetic oil Liqui Moly for the BMWs. It only makes sense for German oil to go in a German car. There is a lil language/accent barrier however, they do their best to give you a complete rundown of any issues or what they serviced. They are cheap but they do substandard work. They replaced the blower motor in my dash and they damaged the car's headliner, and failed to reinstall all the screws holding things in place. OK for basics like oil changes and brakes, but nothing more than that. read more

Found this hidden little gem shop and have NO regrets. Francesco has replaced my entire cooling system and exhaust on my classic 1987 BMW 535is two months ago. No issues what's so ever! Francesco is very detailed and precise on his craftsmanship of mechanics. He's from Italy and has been working on German vehicles since the 70's! He works above and beyond. If he sees something very minor he will adjust or fix at no charge. Owning a 1987 BMW 535is, 1974 BMW 2002tii and buying a 2003 BMW 525it wagon next week, I'm very particular where I take my Bimmers. I recommend Gresta for any mechanical repairs. If it's a big job plan on your car being there for a few days. It may take awhile but the job gets done right the first time! Deserve no stars! Nice guys BUT they did the work without my approval! 3 times we discussed that they were going to provide an estimate before ANY work is started. I called for the estimate and instead I got..... "your car is all done, you can pick it up! We fixed everything and you car is working." I did not say you can work on my car!!! Excellent, honest, business. I bought a used BMW along with a warranty. A month after purchase, I discovered an oil leak and the Gresca's were able diagnose and repair it quickly under warranty. A couple of months later, I was having issues with my coolant level, but was unable to find the leak. They were able to at pressure to the coolant reservoir and discovered a hairline crack. Easy fix and at a reasonable price (not covered under warranty). I'm a decent mechanic and was having trouble with my Mercedes. I'd already done some troubleshooting and replaced the ignition coils, spark plug wires, and mass air flow sensor. I had narrowed the problem down to the ERG, but didn't have the tools to get to it and replace it. I took the car to the Gresca's and had them evaluate it. After a day, they called me and confirmed my suspicions and replaced the part. No drama, so over-selling. They'll have a customer in me as long as I have cars. read more

I brought my BMW here for something as simple as a headlamp replacement when BMW quoted me $100.00 and said it would take 4 hours. Not only did Gresta do it while I waited but he answered every question about my car I had and offered me some important information. I have now been bringing my car and my whole family's cars there for over three years and not only is the customer service GREAT! But the work is top notch. They are honest and have integrity! It is a father and son operation. While it is not full of workers and the feel of a big corporation it does have that family business feeling. These guys not only didn't fix my car, an Audi, but they kept it for nearly 3 months and charged me more than the original quote. On top of all of that, they actually stole my Audi engine covers and other hood covers, which total over $250! Having been frustrated once to many times, I decided to search for an Independent family-owned BMW Service Center, that could not only diagnose a mysterious / random Fault (Drivetrain Malfunction); but give me an unbiased corrective solution!... it should be noted that this is a low mileage, later model '2014 BMW F10 M5'; that had not only left me stranded on server occasions, but had been unsussesfully diagnosed by 'SD BMW's Service Center' ... I was pleasantly surprised (and relieved), to receive a call from Hermano Gresta; who was not only able to successfully diagnose the issue / fault; but, was able to correct the situation on budget (as quoted) and on time! The need for car repairs has always made me sick to my stomach...and not always because of the money. It's because of the lack of trust. Yeah...I have trust issues with car repair shops/dealers! Don't you? Honesty is everything to me! SO that's why I am simply going to say that my experience with Gresta has earned a relationship for the life of my 2007 328 convertible (and any other BMW or Mercedes I own or will own.) Very thankful for the referral from our friend! Gresta owner Franco diagnosed a serious issue at no charge and quickly repaired it after my authorization to proceed, saving me A LOT of money. A lot! They didn't drag their feet on the labor or tell me a story about how complicated and time con$uming it would be. A 1-1/2 hr labor charge was 25% of the time quoted by 2 other 'authorized dealers' and therefore over a $1000 savings. No labor lies here! No repairs you don't need.
