Vehicle Fire Following Multiple Repair Attempts After my vehicle caught fire, Greulich's stated that I never told them what the diagnosis was and implied that the misdiagnosis was my responsibility. I brought my vehicle to Greulich's at least three separate times for the same check engine light. Each visit, I was told I needed to wait for a technician who could properly interpret the diagnostic code. The vehicle was kept overnight on multiple occasions while they attempted to diagnose and repair the issue. I never continued driving with the check engine light on for more than two days before returning it for service. Following the final diagnostic, I was told, "We finally think we got it." The very next day, my vehicle caught fire due to a leak. Throughout the repair process, I was repeatedly assured that any leaks had been addressed and that the remaining issue was related to faulty sensors. After the vehicle was towed, I contacted Greulich's. I was told they had not inspected the component that ultimately caught fire because I had never specifically asked them to. The reason I brought my vehicle to a professional mechanic was because I did not know what was wrong with it. I relied on their expertise to diagnose the problem accurately and make the necessary repairs. It should not have been my responsibility to identify the source of the mechanical failure. read more

Jacob who works here along with his mechanics who do an outstanding job of fitting you in just when you need it such as another tire of mine caught a tire weight and punctured the middle of my tire that my wife had picked up accidentally in her travels on the way home. Jacob was able to fit us in after calling him to let us know that he could possibly fix it if we got the tire to him. We did and the wait time was 30 minutes or less. A+ service and customer satisfaction guaranteed. He was able to get are tire fixed by his mechanics and I was able to take the tire back home and it took me well over an hour to put back on. Lol. . WARNING: This place overcharged me over $100, acknowledged the mistake and refused to refund my credit card for the amount. When I choose a place to work on my car, I look for a place that I can trust. A place that will give me accurate estimates without tacking on costs after the work has been done. Greulich's failed on every level. They charged over $100 more than the estimate that they provided, required me to show them the estimate when I brought it up and ultimately refused to refund my credit card. read more

I'll never go back there..they did 3000 dollars worth and missed my battery and alternator, had to stop and buy a battery on my way home, and found out my alternator was bad too..had to take it back to fix a leak they pinched and the mechanic left a rag in my engine compartment..not good.! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! Would not recommend taking any car you care about to this shop. Overcharged my bf for ball joints control arms and hose for coolant. And since have had to go to another shop to get almost everything redone because the work was not even done properly. Heavily disappointed! His car broke down after from his coolant leaking slowly out of my car and ended up stranded in Phoenix! Do not trust this shop for quality work especially on a Lexus. At this very moment having to get his ball joints replaced AGAIN when they were supposed to have done those when he brought his car in but seems like they weren't even touched! read more

I have a complaint about this location. I have taken my vehicle there twice since January, 2026. The first time it was for a major repair job. It took them 5 weeks to complete this job. I was told at first that it would take 1 1/2 weeks to complete. The shop ran into some complications that slowed the repair down. Finally after 5 weeks it was finished. A week later, the vehicle had an fluid leak. Since the vehicle was still under warranty for the work done, I took it back there. I was told the next day that they located the leak and had to order the part from California and that it would be complete by that Friday. This was on a Tuesday. Nine weeks later the vehicle is still at the shop. This time there is a problem with the timing. The shop doesn't call me about the issues. I have to call and I am told what the problem is and that they will call me with any updates. I have never gotten any calls from them about updates. I usually call and then a week goes by with no calls. So I call and I am given the same story that they are working on it. Now I drove by today and I saw the vehicle sitting out in back of the shop. This wasn't the first time I drove by the shop and saw the vehicle just sitting there. I drove by last week and saw the same thing. I am tired of calling the shop and getting the same old story. The work they are doing is covered by the warranty on the first job. I would really like to know how much longer that it is going to take. Like I said before they have had the vehicle for nine weeks. And like I said before, they never call me to let me know what is going on, I always have to call and I am tired of being the only one to call. I called again on Wednesday May 6 and was told that they were having an issue with the timing light coming on and that they couldn't figure it out. They said that they were having a VW expert coming in to look at the car and to see if he could figure it out. I was told this before about the car, another issue with the timing. I was told that the VW expert told them what to do and they did that and that fixed the one timing issue. They worked on the timing the first time the car was there for the major repair. Now a week later, after the May 6th call, and I still haven't heard anything. And the car is still sitting outside. I would just like to have a real answer to what's going on and if they will ever have the repair finished. It's been nine weeks without any anwser. I even sent the company an e-mail about the situation, didn't hear back. I did get a survey e-mail about using their customer care link. I responded with a very negative survey and was then contacted about the survey and was told that someone would be in contact with me within 24-48 hours. That was on Friday, May 8. As of May 13th, I haven't heard anything so far. And the car is still sitting outside, with no work being done on it. read more

I had my brakes changed there and they charge all these fees to just "figure" out the issue. Out the door I paid close to $1500 for just back brakes and rotors. They convinced me to take a loan from some shark company for $600. I been paying $125 every month for over a year. So essentially I'm paying close to $3k for just back brakes and rotors. And they still couldn't figure out the noise taking place and eventually my tire ripped off going down the road. Save your money and go to one the Mexican places. They do good work, don't charge hidden fees and don't do business with loan sharks. read more

Best automotive repair place I've been to. These guys are honest and don't try to penny and dime you! My first visit was an oil change and for the first time ever I wasn't called with a list of suggestions on a list of additional items. When asked if there was anything on top of the oil change, expecting a comment along the lines of "air filter, fluids, at this mileage it's suggested you do this and that" it was "we inspected everything and it all looks great". Second visit was because I accidentally dumped coffee all over my dash and it seeped down into the defrost vents etc. I was expecting them to tell me they would need to remove the dash. Nope! They suggested another route that was much more affordable; they didn't want to charge me up the ying yang even though I was ready and willing if that was what needed to be done. Ps my car doesn't smell like coffee and everything still works great! Also ladies, they listen to your concern without judgement and they don't mans-plan, they talk to you like a human! read more

The team knew exactly what I needed and managed to get me out the door at a literal third of the cost. I didn't even feel anything was wrong with my vehicle until I left the shop and felt how incredible the difference Greulich's made on my now smooth ride. It seems it doesn't pay to schedule an appointment a few days ahead of time. This is my second visit to them with a scheduled appointment and they still tell me it will be up to 1 hour and 45 minutes wait. WHY???????? Then the service advisor tells me they are not a jiffy lube! What a sarcastic remark. You would think that a shop like that would hire a mechanic that primarily does oil changes and tire rotations, so the customer doesn't have to wait. This shop opened right next to our neighborhood a couple of years ago, so we tried it out because of the good reviews and close proximity to our home. We have used them since they opened and have the same guys help us every time. An honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold, so i am so glad we switch from the dealership. Worst experience I've ever had: BEWARE!!! I have three vehicles and none of them will ever be worked on at Greulich's. I gave it 1 STAR for a clean shop and the guys in the office are friendly. The reason for only one star : I took my vehicle in to get an oil leak fixed at $1250 quote, ended up over $1700 and the oil leak was not fixed, they did replace oil soaked engine, trans, and front axle mount (I guess) because even though it said on my initial estimate'all parts removed will be saved for customer inspection and to take home like other reputable shops do, they didn't save anything and no one seemed to know about saviing parts removed, until I brought in the estimate and showed them! So did they really change them? Then they tell they would need to pull the engine because the leak is in the rear upper pan gasket and replacing the lower pan gasket didn't fix it! What happened to them running dye in the oil to determine the oil leak! They charged me to replace the oil pan gasket and it didnt fix it. I said why did you change the pan gasket if it wouldn't fix the leak, now I'll have to pay another shop to fix the leak and redo what they did. The mechanic broke a bolt off in the oil pan and tried to lie about it, they broke a bolt off in the gas filter clamping bolt bracket, no penetrative lube was used, they adjusted my steering gear worm gear bearing, but didn't tighten the lock nut. On top of it, my clean white vehicle had greasy hand prints on the door and hood. They said bring the vehicle back and we will fix the broken bolts. A couple days later they call and said it was fixed, I asked if they fixed the broken clamp bolt on the gas filter bracket and shop manager said YES. Days later I'm under the vehicle and see the bolt on the bracket for the gas filter they Intalled WAS NOT FIXED, (so I was not going to write a review until I saw that and knew someone was LIEING! I look at the oil pan and yes they fixed the broke bolt, but took one out of the rear pan that was kind of hidden to replace it, UNBELIEVABLE! So I don't trust this shop one bit. So they tried to tell me I had an injector oring leaking charge $435 to change out the orings, I said no, it not leaking or I would of smelled gas, the service writer said oh you wouldn't smell gas be cause it would of burnt off on the exhaust, duh, the injectors are on the intake side of the engine, not even close to the exhaust! They charged me for freon for my AC, but the AC hasn't worked because there's a hole in the line, they did refund my money. They charge to steam clean under they vehicle, brag about it, I looked and could tell it hadn't been touched from all the caked on oil and dirt on everything. When I took it in, they said they would ckean underneath again, and fix the broken bolt, it looked like it had not been touched. Watch out for you estimates, service writer just decided I need, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, trans flush which I didn't know until I had him show me the estimate, I had him take them off! My opinion, they are out for all the money the can get from the customer for the business, NOT THE CUSTOMER! They CHARGE $179 DOLLARS AN HOUR and that's is way too much for the sloppy mechanical work they do. My old shop which I will go back to charges $115. I wouldn't take my vehicled to them for even an oil change!7 read more

Long review ahead but the quick version is that I have never had such a fantastic experience at an auto shop before. This facility is well-taken care of and kept very clean which made a great first impression. Work was competitive and swift. I highly recommend this shop! I couldn't be more impressed with the way these guys operate. They are friendly, transparent & fair. I was able to drop off my vehicle early in the morning, which was a low-stress and hassle-free experience. Next steps were clearly communicated and followed-through on. I received a phone call several hours after drop-off with a detailed breakdown of the diagnosis, parts required and what was covered under my extended warranty plan and what would be out of pocket. Pricing for parts and labor were completely reasonable and I was comfortable approving the quote with zero hesitation. I received a detailed link with a breakdown of the full diagnostic inspection and itemized list of problem areas with photos and parts required. This included suggested services and proactive component replacement (ie leaking strut, worn hoses, etc.). Costs were laid out clearly. I've never received a thorough report like this so either my expectations were low from prior shops or these guys are doing something right (probably both!) I anticipated leaving my vehicle at the shop for a few days to a week so parts could be ordered and work could be done--especially considering I brought this in last minute and they probably had a hectic schedule. To my surprise they must have been able to get all the parts locally or had them in stock because I received a call that same day notifying me all repairs were performed and the vehicle is ready for pickup. Talk about under-promise and over-deliver! This place operates like a well-oiled machine and the sense of teamwork and work ethic is very apparent. Water pump was replaced and a leaking evap purge hose replaced as well. I could not be more satisfied with how promptly my vehicle was repaired and I unironically had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. They were extremely honest and when they saw my face when we quoting me on a brand new suspension part for the POS Range Rover, they quickly told me they will search for a refurbished part to avoid paying high cost. Decided to take my truck in after having issues with it to the same place I've been getting my oil changed. I was greeted by two nice gentleman very friendly and helpful. Jason was able to assist and offered for me to leave my truck there for the day to get diagnostics that would later be a $200 fee. Later that afternoon got a diagnostics and quote on how much it would be. (VPS Cooling System 2 Part Kil GM OEM Thermostat Housing Assy) The total for this would be nearly $1400. Jason later said it would be an extensive process to get this replaced and would take almost if not a full day. I decided to go ahead with the process as they still needed to order the parts for it and my truck would have to be left overnight. After making some calls and speaking to others I found another place that could do the same exact labor, parts and all for $800. Had a male figure call the next morning and let them know I will not be getting the work done there (who was my father and fibbed about the reason why so my truck would come back in one piece). Well it was then time for me to go in and pick up my truck. Walked in and there was no happy greeting like there was when I first went in with my truck issue. Jason didn't say anything to me and just started typing on his computer. The gentleman next to him who wasn't even helping me had better customer service. Take away: I'm not saying don't take your vehicles to them but make sure to shop around and find a second opinion and that would be with any place not just here. I'm a young woman and brought my car in to diagnose the AC which was blowing hot. They took about 30 minutes "inspecting" and came to the conclusion I needed the entire compressor replaced, charging $1600 and change for the replacement. Got a second opinion from a different shop (thank god) and they loaded my AC unit up with new refrigerant and dye and had me drive around for a couple days to spot which component was leaking because my compressor works fine but somewhere in the workup there is an easily fixable leak. Not sure if I look stupid or if its because I'm a woman or what but I do know I saved myself thousands avoiding Greulichs and you should too. read more

Took my van in for AC repair first thing Saturday morning for an eval, told it would be done Monday. (so didn't have van until Monday and had to figure out commuting). Monday rolls around, don't hear anything from them and have to keep reaching out, got multiple responses that were different from each other, kept getting told hours apart that it was "hooked up to the machine" to do diagnostics. Close to closing time they said it was ready for pickup, went to get the van and within 10 min of driving it was definitely not fixed. Called them and they said to bring the van back, two days later they then said the parts they replaced were bad, had to wait for new order, then day after they replaced it again, it STILL wasn't cold. Third time bringing it back, they added more refrigerant and it still doesn't blow as cold as I would hope but it is definitely better than it was. But having to take a week to finally get it working properly was pretty frustrating. And lack of communication, except the final day it was ready to get picked up. read more

I had a crack in my radiator and needed it replaced. My vehicle is 14 years old so I thought that getting a replacement would take time. The Dodge dealer wanted to keep my vehicle for several days to complete the repairs. I stopped at Gruelich's because I was driving by and needed the repair. This was close to the end of the day but I was only looking for a quote. They quoted me a decent price and told me they could have the new radiator installed the next day. The following morning I dropped off my car and they provided a free Lyft ride back to my home since the repairs would take most of the day. I also asked for an oil change since the car was already in the shop. The radiator was replaced and the oil change was completed by the end of the day and my vehicle is once again running perfectly. They even steam-cleaned the engine to get the residue from the coolant leak cleaned up. The team was very helpful and professional. I will definitely be going back to this location if I need any further repairs. read more

I can't give this place more than two stars and here's why. When I initially called for an oil change, I was asked what year, make and model my car was, and I was told they had a special of $27.87. I was a little skeptical, but okay, great, must be because they just opened in this area. I set an appointment. When I got there "Cole" the CSR was just staring at a computer and didn't even look up when walked in and said hi. Cole asks me for my name and starts typing it in (again) not even a good morning or welcome, just focused on his computer with a deadpan facial expression. I asked about the price again $27.00, this time I was told it was going to be $47.86. Typical... these places tell you one thing on the phone, and you're told another when you get there. After everything is done I get in my car and the oil light is still on. I go back in and ask for them to turn the light off. After it's reset, I go to start my car but notice the parking brake was on, I took care of that myself. I hope they got the oil change, right. The whole process took about 1-hour and they have a decent waiting area. I might try them one more time and see how it goes, I'll be sure to update my experience. My brakes were making noises so I called for an appointment. They got me in same day. Jason was very courteous and honest during the whole process. They gave me estimates on needed work and regular maintenance but no high pressure sales job like most places do. I appreciate that. The brakes were done front and back. So far they are working good.
