This is the best iced coffee I've had in NYC. I've been to some of the pricier places in Manhattan and like this place more. The employees are nice (I walked out of White Noise once because they were rude) and there is a fair amount of seating available. My croissant was also delicious. They serve organic coffee as well. Love this spot! Already been here twice and they failed to disappoint! Cute little outdoor seating with multiple spots to choose from, under umbrellas or up on stairs! Indoor seating they have restricted timing but also have an ample amount of tables that are spread out! They check your temperature at the counter and take down your information for contact tracing and have sanitizers at the counter as well. Wish they had it available on each table that would be helpful! Staff was so sweet and helpful, always like their service here!! Got their chocolate hazelnut and earl grey macaroons for $3 each, omg so delicious! I am not usually a macaroon fan because they are too sweet but they make it so delicious here! Stopped by here to pick up macarons for my friend's son cos i promised him i was gonna bring some! They have like 20 flavors!!! I got a dozen and chose the flavors myself. I got to try the lychee rose, pumpkin and cookies n cream. Didnt try the other flavors, but kiddy liked the birthday cake and girlfriend said it tasted like rice crispies!!! I personally liked the lychee rose cos its really fragrant! The dozen macarons also came with a free coffee or tea of my choice. So i got the iced chai tea and its SO good!!!! Chai is really strong and gf loved it! So glad i found this spot. They have outdoor and indoor seatings! Indoor seatings there appears to be a sign in book and a table placard for ur table that shows the time u can stay until due to limited capacity. Staff were in masks and tables were distanced apart. Outrageous Manhattan prices in Bayside. $11 with tax for Medium Ice Coffee (black) and a plain bagel with regular cream cheese! It wasn't even one of those large gourmet bagels either! This place is my favorite place to get coffee and just chill out. The place is so nice in design and is a conformable safe space to relax. Not just th coffee, but I absolutely love the Matcha Latte (hot). I get mine unsweetened with whole milk. I can't live without it. The staff there are extremely personable and friendly. I like that there's an elevated level without music where you can fo work in relative peace compared to most public spaces. There are also a ton of outlets which is nice, and shades that block out the sunlight altho I personally prefer brighter spaces. Their coffee is a bit too bitter for me and their acai bowl is interesting. There's a bottom layer of...oatmeal which makes for a fun chewy texture to the bowl. The acai itself was quite frozen still and chunky. The fruits were good but I was a bit disappointed they didnt have the option of adding almond butter. Overall I still prefer white noise's acai bowl, but it's waaaay overpriced so this one is a decent replacement! read more

Newly renovated cafe with much bigger and open space design. Originally known as Browny's. The sitting is much more comfortable. The coffee is great and they also offer small desserts. The place still has two levels. The first first floor consists of large table with multiple seats and smaller 2 person tables. No charging station around the large tables. The second level has more individual tables and a few sofa for more relaxed setting. The voice level is much quieter on the second floor. The music is chill and not too loud either. I ordered a Grubhub delivery that wasn't delivered on time. It took Grubhub two hours to assign a delivery person to my order. 9:59pm my order was placed, 10:01pm it was ready for pick up. The biggest problem was that the store closed at 11pm and my order was picked up at 12:11am. Thankfully Briana was closely monitoring my order and kept me updated on how to receive my order. She even offered to deliver my order since my address wasn't that far from her. Shortly after, Grubhub finally assigned a driver but she waited at the store until my order was picked up. 1 star for grub hub but 5 stars for Briana. I finally came here with a friend over the weekend after having driven past it about 100 times. I'm so glad I did!!! The outdoor seating is so nice and feels very private, and it's so wonderfully sitting there in this kind of weather!!! The inside is very nice and clean, super comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Within the last week, I've been here 3 times, ordered their iced latte w/sugar, and had their banana pudding twice. I loved both items. Their latte is sooo good and it's made exactly how I like it! I'm excited to visit again so I can try some other drinks, maybe their teas :) I've been trying to go to Starbucks less because lately they've been out of stock like crazy!! Came here at around 11 AM to get some work done for the day. Overall felt productive and liked the atmosphere, but this is a pretty busy store, so there are always people coming in and out. I also couldn't find a place to charge my laptop since the outlets are by the wall and those seats are usually taken. I took a seat somewhere in the middle of the store, and those tables are a bit small. It was enough for me and my laptop, but would get a bit crowded if you came here with a friend. Generally, I felt comfortable for the 4 hours I was here. There's pop music in the background, but it isn't played too loud. Recommendations include their Kyoto Cold Brew, Flat White and their Lavender Latte. They also boast a wide selection of baked goods, including macaroons which taste delicious. Alcoholic beverages are also offered for those wanting something other than coffee. Sunny, the owner and manager, is kind, friendly and accommodating. My wife and I always enjoy swinging by here for a coffee. GREY Cafe is an awesome place to hangout and chill and their outdoor seating area is quaint and cute.
