OBSESSED. The bartender? Iconic. Great convo, quick service, and made perfectly balanced drinks. They've got a decent lineup - n/a cocktails, beer, whiskey, tequila - you name it. I tried the tequila and whiskey, and both hit just right. Sat out back by the fire pit and it was giving peak summer night vibes. The inside? Looks like an art installation - super stylish and cool to look through. I really liked this spot and will absolutely be coming back!

Went here based on a couple recommendations and was very pleased with our experience! My boyfriend ordered the Maple Old Fashioned, which tasted great! So smooth and delicious. I ordered a Dirty Martini and upon ordering was asked how dirty I liked my martinis on a scale of 1-10. This question pleased me because I've never been asked to customize the amount of olive juice before and that was very exciting! I said 7/10 and the martini was perfect for me. This place has a very nice open space with lots of beautiful and unique artwork to look at! The furniture and decor was simple but modern and I definitely felt like I was in a nice place. Would love to come back again and try something else to drink! Also, honorable mention to Kris for making us feel so welcomed!

A pretty cool spot that feels like it belongs in a bigger city. I like the idea of an art gallery/bar so this is nice to have, and I think it fits in well where it is on Wealthy Street. The space is large and had a lot of paintings and sculpture when we visited. The cocktail menu has your classics and standbys, but I went with a spritz made with a Farmhaus cider. It was refreshing, crisp, and a bit bitter - perfect for a warm day. (Or a freezing cold February day!) I will say that the drink prices were on the higher end, around $14-$15. They've been open for about 4 months and the art rotates every 4-6 weeks or so. We were welcomed in right away and our coats were taken and placed on a coat rack, then retrieved when we were getting ready to leave. I was approached by who I think might be the owner when I was taking photos, and got some info on the art etc. which was nice. The employees were all friendly and kind. 5 stars for them! I will be interested to see what they do with the outdoor space in warmer months, and I loved the mural on the side of the building. I did notice the website mentions charcuterie but I didn't see anything listed on the menu and we weren't told anything about food options (granted we weren't hungry and also didn't ask). The prices will probably make this a once in awhile type spot for me, but I will be back to check out more art in the future.

My husband just happened to pop into this place after work on Friday and we are so glad we did! The drinks were incredible! We ordered an Espresso Martini, Lavender G&T, Paper Plane, and Blonde Negroni. All of them were perfectly balanced! The space was creatively designed and loved seeing art from local artists on the wall. Also the service was amazing, we had a great time chatting with Chris and Will, the owner. They were super nice and fun to talk to, we ended up staying longer than planned. We really liked this spot and will definitely be coming back!

Art gallery that doubles as a cocktail lounge, or vice versa? Located in the old Elk Brewing location, Grey Rabbit features artwork from local west michigan artists! You can buy any piece of art that is not tagged with a red dot. We appreciate the fact that they're all about supporting local artists and giving them another avenue to display their hard work. For my cocktail, I got an espresso martini (one of my go to cocktails). It was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. There was plenty of seating, and our servers were super nice and checked on us multiple times throughout our time there. They've been open for about a month now. Go support!

What a great find! This place was located near where we went for dinner. We happened to be walking by when we noticed that there was an art gallery. I then exclaimed, "They have liquor!" Lol. So we went in to check it out. We really enjoyed looking at all the art and they also have a great outdoor area. We chose to sit at the bar but there were several seating areas similar to what you could find in a coffee shop. We got to know our bartenders and they were helpful with our choices. I started with wine but by the end we were actually doing shots of tequila with other patrons. Haha. We had an amazing time and most certainly would come back!

Super cool vibe. Lovely art and music. Exceptional high end cocktails and they also serve a pbr in a can. Perfection!

Such an inviting and well-designed space to enjoy local art, a cocktail, and very cool events...comedy in the yard, chill live music, and lively art openings. Attentive service too!

In fact, my kids laughed at my wife when she got a salad and wasn't overly impressed "Mom, why would you get a salad at a place with great burgers?!?" My thoughts exactly. The service is decent, the space is comfortable for a downtown spot on Monroe Center. When I visit, I focus solely on the burgers and I've never been disappointed. The 'Meat Wagon', topped with ribeye, ham and bacon just wants to cuddle your belly from the inside. The 'Otto Von Burger' topped with a fried egg and bacon is one of the best examples of its kind. The 'Alabamer' is great when you're craving pulled pork and bacon on your burger. If you just want a traditional burger, you have that option and won't be disappointed. Also, the loaded fries are solid, but personally, I would pass on the fancier offerings. Remember: Burgers over fancy apps and skip the salads and you'll be fine.

The combo of the Boursin cheese, bacon jam and the reaper mayo was delicious and really balanced out the heat from the mayo. Splurged on desert and the Cookie n' Milk cake was wonderful. Not too rich or sweet. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are downtown!

Coming from someone who loves a hoppy IPA and an amber, they combined my two worlds into one. So, it was a natural easy love. For my next, I went with their "Blinky's Black IPA" which was good but got more a weak porter feel than IPA. Like I said, it was good and I'd drink it again but with that expectation. FOOD: I went with an olive burger with be try fresh and real ingredients. The burger itself was full of flavor; add the rest of it and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about something, I could have used a touch more olive sauce. Now the egg roll... I went with the "Guava the Hutt". I'll just say, I ordered two to go in hopes I can resurrect them in the air fryer later. The back half of the building is a pickleball area and the front half is the brewery and restaurant. Very cool look as they have a few shipping containers as sitting areas. Plenty of seating where I didn't feel jammed in. Also, a few arcade games. The service was friendly but know that it is minimal as you will order from the QR code at your table and order drinks at the bar. Definitely worth checking out and plan on returning.

The staff were friendly and we appreciated "The Library" filled with games and books. I was nostalgic and read Hunter's Guide to 1996 Michigan complete with a recommendation to stop at the now obsolete Pleasure Island Water Park. That used to be my absolute favorite getaway as a kid! We ordered arancini as a starter that came out tasting crisp like a tator tot, but the shape and taste actually reminded me more of a fried tteokbokki (Korean rice noodle) known for its deliciousness through its texture highlighting the spicy sauce. This would've been amazing had they had a nice gochujang mayo combo to dip this crispy treasure in, rather than ranch and pizza sauce. Next we tried the tikka masala pizza. Fun and inventive idea... much better than the naan pizza I had in Muskegon... however the sauce didn't taste as good as my homemade tikka masala base and though the pizza was tasty with varied texture, we found it somewhat lacked seasoning especially on the protein. If I were to construct it, instead of potato I would've had chicken, red pepper, cilantro, fresh avocado and pickled onion. Yum! To drink, I enjoyed a refreshing ginger Kombucha sourced from Walker Brothers in Nashville Tennessee. The kids loved their cheese pizza and cheese smash burger with fries and drinks. Overall, great first experience and would love to come back as it seems like they are constantly reinventing themselves with tasty morsels and brews. If you come, there is free parking in the back. If you love it here there is a $150 lifetime membership (not sure what that all entails but sounds special). Thanks 7 Monks, we will be back!
