World Famous Onion Rings - Half Order
    Elaina M.

Nice little spot in town. The inside has three separate rooms for dining. We ate in the bar area. The bartender was our waitress and she was very helpful and friendly. We ordered Kentucky Hot Browns because we've never had one (we're from NC) and having nothing to compare it to, they were good. I would recommend.

We came here because I heard great things about the fried chicken which did not disappoint at all. The pimento cheese was good and I liked the onion rings with the pimento cheese on it. The potatoes and gravy was Devine. The peach sangria was so yummy. Our waitress was so great! Love this building and all the history behind the house.

Wait time: no wait with reservations on Christmas Eve Atmosphere: cute, little classy but relaxed place. Service: over abundance of workers. Several servers standing in corner talking, lots of hostesses standing at the stand, lots of others standing around the buffet chatting. Not sure if this is why it took our server a while to come over to us and get our drinks Food: We had the buffet, standard breakfast items, bacon was a little smoky, goetta was very good and wasn't as hard and crunchy as it has been in the last. Fried chicken is the best in the area. Ham and the sauce they had for it was a Christmas-y delight. Price: $$$ Cleanliness: 8/10

Sunday brunch Buffet with a group of friends. Breakfast food. Lunch food. Salads. Desserts. Nice clean restaurant. Great service. I thought the food was good. Not great . Eggs a little over cooked. Roast beef dry. The green beans had a sweet taste. Fried Chicken, very good.

This has been a favorite in my family for years! I went for the first time a few weeks ago with my parents and my brother. We split a ton of appetizers and had drinks before our meal. I loved the Goetta Egg Rolls. It's a cool take on a local staple. Everyone was happy with their meal. We each got something different and enjoyed stealing forkfuls of food off each other's plate. Our server was very helpful when we needed to choose between dishes when ordering. For dessert, we got the Peanut Butter Pie and it was amazing! I'm still dreaming about it. The decor is very beautiful. The interior was so lovely. I hope to return with my family soon! We left full and happy!

Our Y group took advantage of the Greyhound Tavern Sunday Brunch. 10 AM to 2 PM. All you can eat for $25. Thank you Sheila Gilman for the suggestion. The fried chicken is juicy and flavorful. Several breakfast and lunch items available. Our server took care of all of my needs, and the best part, as always, was the fine company.

Most food ok. The greasy smell and dark & dingy, not so much. I only go here when elderly people drag me

My mom and I dined here today and the experience was frustrating from the start. We were seated and initially greeted by one waitress who took our order, but we were quickly handed off to another server who was already clearly overwhelmed with multiple tables. This quick handoff likely contributed to the miscommunication surrounding our incorrect order, which could have been avoided if the original server had not switched us off so abruptly. She seemed far more focused on guests she knew who were seated nearby, while our new server was left juggling several tables on her own. I felt bad for her--she was clearly doing her best without much support. I didn't see a manager on the floor to help address the situation. On top of that, our food came out incorrect and had to be sent back to be fixed. We were also told my child would receive a kids' drink with her meal, which never came. Unfortunately, this has become a pattern--each visit seems to bring poorer service and lower food quality, especially considering the prices. I do enjoy the atmosphere, particularly during the warmer months, but between the inconsistent service and disappointing food, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.

The first thing I look for is a nice patio. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating today, but I will be back for this fabulous patio. I was there before the dinner rush, which explains the emptiness of the restaurant. More people started arriving after 5:00. There were so many yummy sounding choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I asked my server, Erin, what she recommends and she said the CAJUN BOURBON FILET TIPS were her favorite. I went with that and was not disappointed. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is served over mashed potatoes and topped with onion straws. While the beef portion was small, it was a satisfying meal and the flavors were perfection! I added a side Caesar salad. Their house-made croutons were so good and the dressing was tasty and perfectly portioned. I don't often order dessert, but decided to splurge tonight and got a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go. OMG, this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was light and dense at the same time, if that makes sense. So creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. I will dream about it tonight LOL.

We should have just left at that point but our kids were hungry. Dinner was finally served and it was good, but no one seemed very concerned about how long we waited. Instead, I got something shocking... Actual great pizza!!! The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor? Smoky, slightly charred, and rich...like it was baked by a Tuscan grandmother who also owns a flamethrower. The owner just showed me their home made pasta dish for the Friday in Lent. Looks amazing!! We could have just shared this platter for our lunch if we had known the amount of food that came with the dish. The portion sizes were large. It had two heaping mounds of hummus, ample warm pita bread triangles, thick cucumber slices, hardy carrot sticks and spicy pepperocinis all over a "bed" of kalamata olives. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was delectable. My sister had the "Rod & Reel" lunch special, which is a choice of soup/salad and 1/2 a sandwich with a side. Her salad was a meal all by itself. She ended up taking home part of the salad and all of the sandwich. I tried the Willow sandwich. I too, took my sandwich home because I was full from sharing the hummus appetizer. Everything about this restaurant was appealing to me. The staff and service were friendly and accommodating. Because the restaurant originated in Montana, all of the pictures and decor reminded one of hard-working people on an expansive ranch with animals and surrounded by family and down-to-earth friends.
