That is why I said to the gentleman, Mark, at the front desk when I was making my appointment in person: "I do not want to get any surprise medical bills after my appointment with the doctor so here is my insurance card. Please check and let me know how much will be covered by my insurance before my appointment." This was two or three weeks before my appointment with the doctor Deberry. If I had known that my insurance company would not cover my doctor's visit 100%, I would have cancelled my appointment in the first place. That was not an urgent visit, anyways. I did not get any lab work done upstairs because I asked the ladies if my insurance would cover them 100 %. They said "no" and I left. After meeting with the Dr. Deberry, I have received a surprise "bill" in my email on May 29th, 2026. I called 405-252-9720 on the same day and spoke with Ms. Janita at 10:28 AM for 16 minutes to explain my situation. I said "I am not going to pay this bill because it is the hospital's fault not to inform me that I might receive a surprise bill after my doctor's appointment even though I specifically asked to be informed. The hospital had enough time to inform me before my appointment date. Additionally, Dr. Deberry made me wait in the office for about 45 to 50 minutes. When I finally opened the door to ask if the doctor was coming, someone sitting behind a computer said he was Dr. Deberry." I asked my Janita for the charges to be voided. After all this explanation, Ms. Janita on the phone made me repeat myself like a broken record for three times, and in the end, she said that I must still pay for the services received. What service??? Today, June 2nd, I received the same bill to my email, again, in the amount of $246.78. I am not paying for your hospital's mistakes: 1- failing to inform me that I might receive a surprise bill after meeting with the doctor when I specifically requested to know and 2- Dr. Deberry made me wait 45-50 minutes before he finally arrived. The Integris Health must take responsibility for wasting my time.

Expedient and decent care. however, based on the findings I was admitted to Norman Regional Health plex. That's where the one star comes in. This is an awful hospital. at least for admissions. I was expediently processed, but then huge let down. my arm wasn't really functional at all. they completely ignored and, ever so visible, did not even pay attention to it. Spent two days, pretty much doing nothing except testing basic vitals (bp, heart rate, oxy). kept doing stroke test even though it came back negative. ignored my blatant arm being all but paralyzed. no Cervical spinal CT. Now, by another hospital, diagnosed it as Peripheral Radial Palsy and Contracture of my upper arm and permanent damage follows if not treated. NRH said take Ibuprofen. Now let me get to unprofessionalism and care to patients. patients go ignored frequently. Most people don't want to wait 4 hours being seen. secondly, the staff gossip about other patients and other staff regularly. this creates an uncomfortable environment for both patients especially, and even staff members. awful 100%

It's very scary because I am transfusion dependent meaning I have to get transfusions to stay alive because I don't make enough blood on my own. It came on pretty suddenly but I'm so grateful I was sent to Norman Regional Oncology Clinic. The staff as a whole is amazingly compassionate, have a positive attitude and truly care about the outcomes and quality of life for all their patients. My oncologist is Dr. Namali Pierson and her nurse's name is Laura. From the beginning they took my situation very seriously and got to the bottom of it. Once I got my diagnosis, they presented me with treatment options and in my case I need a bone marrow transplant which will be done at OU Medical Center. Dr. Pierson and her team all work very well with OU to coordinate my transfusion needs and help with transplant clearance. I had to do one round of chemotherapy which I did in their clinic (infusion center located in their clinic). Their infusion center has the best staff I have ever seen and I have been to several infusion centers since January 2021. They also have reclining heated, massage chairs with TVs attached to the chairs and the nurses will bring you drinks, snacks, blankets or pillows. They do all of this with kindness and compassion because of the deep care they have for their patient's comfort. They have amazing receptionists that greet you with a smile as well as their amazing schedulers who do their best to get a treatment schedule that best suits your circumstances.  This is the team you want going through this fight with you. I have never felt more supported by a doctor and her team before. It's really nice to experience the healthcare system in a positive way like this.

There are 4 issues I am facing after using this service. 1) I have found some incorrect notes on my record from the physician I met. 2) I received a reference that do not fit my heath care needs. 3) The yelp review I previously wrote about this business is somehow missing. 4) I keep receiving marketing phone calls from Oklahoma and Moore now. I can request to amend incorrect notes, and I can look for a healthcare facility that would fit on my healthcare needs. Unfortunately, I realized that I have a trouble of understanding Spanish and Spanish influenced English, which is completely new to me. It is nothing wrong with Spanish English. It is just my English teachers have been Non-Spanish speakers. The care facility on my reference seems like more focused on Spanish speakers and those within Spanish / Hispanic culture (I thought I picked a physician who speaks English only). Bye the way, I was expecting to see more of French speakers instead, when it says Norman. Now, if the review I left disappears, it makes harder for me to remember how to use this facility. What I like and do not like this about this facility, and which service I should use. These information are useful for future reference, including if I accept job offers nearby businesses or not. I am also quite surprised on the phone calls everyday I receive from nearby Moore area, just because I used a service in Moore. These phone calls are mainly about MEDICARE. I totally understand some media says US is lacking funds for MEDICARE now. But, why do they call to foreign seasonal workers who are not sure where they will get retired. I am sure many of Americans are wealthy enough not to work on the infrastructure they use now. That is a great thing. But, keep targeting on foreign seasonal workers that work on your local infrastructure do not improve its condition either.

I would try either another urgent care facility or just go to the emergency room. My daughter was having a severe allergic reaction, which had lasted two days with a red rash and hives all over her body. We couldn't control it with Benadryl. There was only one other person in the waiting room when got there, but it took us over three hours. Both the last nurse nurse and doctor on staff that night were rude to us. We waited over an hour before we were taken back to a room, and then we waited about an hour in the room to see the doctor. During that time the doctor and the nurse kept coming into the room and then leaving the room. Once the doctor came and stayed to see my daughter, he spent less than five minutes with us and didn't seem to know any of the long history or information we had given to the intake nurse. he abruptly cut me off, took a quick look at her and said he would give her a steroid shot, A steroid prescription, and a prescription antihistamine. She was also throwing up, so at my request, he prescribed some Zofran. And, as an afterthought, and he prescribed an EpiPen in case it got worse after she left. When I asked him if he can tell us what was wrong, he said, "no", we would have to see an allergy specialist. I told him I wasn't sure about the steroid shot but we would take a prescription for one so if it wasn't better by the next day and we felt she still needed it, she could take it. He promptly left and didn't return. After waiting for about an hour for the prescriptions, I was afraid they had forgotten about us, so I went looking for someone to ask about them. I spotted the doctor coming out of another room and asked him about the prescriptions. He said the nurse was busy, but she would be coming at some point. When she finally came in, she was rude, and ignored me. We had some questions about the medications, but she couldn't answer them. We asked if we could speak to the doctor, but she said, "no" that he was with other patients. So we left to find a doctor again. We caught him in the hallway again. This is where he got extremely rude. I tried to ask him about the steroid prescription and he got all defensive, claiming that I didn't want steroids anyway. He gave my daughter 15 days of prednisone at 120 mg per day for four days, 60 mg, for another four days, and 30 mg for another 3 days. I asked him why it was so much and so long, he just said that's the way he does it without explaining why he does it that way. I continued to press him about why he was giving her such a large dose, and I asked if there was a smaller dose. When I asked him about the side effects of steroids he responded in a huff, "haven't you taken steroids before?" I responded she had only been given steroids once before in an IV and had not ever had a full course of them prescribed. He was extremely put out by having to have any discussion about possible side effects and about a smaller dose. Eventually, we agreed on Medrol, a smaller dose for five days and only less than 20 mg per day in weaning down. I felt patronized, belittled, and I did not feel comfortable with our treatment or ability to understand the medication that he was prescribing.
