I must admit this is one of my favorite places to get a hamburger. The Taste is unbeatable, the ingredients are always fresh and the meat Patty is always delicious and juicy. But sometimes the service isn't quite what you would want. I always enjoy coming here and will continue to do so with my friends and family but I wish we could get some better servers to help with the orders. read more

I forgot to yelp on griffs thur night about 8:30 pm aug 16 2018. My son and i pulled up to the drive thru. We started ordering. Now we should get the online menu and have things planned out. But we didn't of course. So ee talk back and forth. Well the lady taking the order listens yo us. Then we can hear people laughing in the background. She was patient with us. We ordered a double cheese burger eith mushrooms on it. My son got some kind of a huge burger with jalepenos on his. I got a shake and he got a fiet coke float. We got one small fries. The lady taking the order was one of those douthern ladies eho call you sugar and honey etc. If i was in the drivers seat i like to give it bsck to them. Lol i say ok baby or something to the effect. But my son was driving. We got our order wuickly Took it home and ate it. It was tastey. Nothing wrong with this take out. I usually start with a 5 then wittle down if i find something wrong. Ok I may catch a lot of grief from this, because EVERYBODY just RAVES about Griff's, but to me it tastes just like Sonic without the flavor. Seriously. I've been to Griff's several times and every time I leave disappointed. No matter what's on my burger, there is no flavor to it. My husband ate their first and came home saying that it was the BEST cheeseburger and even he has said that since that first time it hasn't been NEAR as good. Griffis is a great burger joint. Food is good old school type burgers. Atmosphere cold be better but the food is solid.

1st time my wife and I ate here. The staff were all smiles and extremely nice. The hamburger and fries took me back to my childhood. Burger made the "old fashion" way. I will making this a place I visit a lot more. read more

Griff's is the place to go it you want the best burger for the best price! My husband and I went here about a week ago and our meals together were 16 dollars! The burgers are cooked the "old fashioned" way, like if you went to a diner. The fries are "fast food" cut fries (small and thinly cut) and amazing, but I love pretty much any kind of fry. Drive-thru order. The lady taking my order was extremely rude, and almost argumentative. She couldn't understand what I was asking for, and she repeated back to me the wrong order in a loud and condescending tone. Well we just spent about 40 dollars on 4 meals. We waited in the drive thru for 30+ minutes to get ice cold, hard fries. Cold burgers, all prepared incorrectly. I am just confused as to what took so long if not a single item was fresh? It makes me question the competence of the people working here... As far as fast food burgers go, I would put Griff's up there with the best of them. I've eaten a lot of burgers and this is the best one I've had in Shreveport. I think if I ate there more frequently I'd be hurting but definitely something good when you're in the mood for greasy and filling. I love this place. I did not go to the location before it was rebuilt, but this is a staple for me when I want a great hamburger that has quality at a great price. Stepping into Griff's reminds me of the 1950's styles hamburger joints. Its clean. The staff are friendly. The service is fast. But the burgers....the burgers are divine. My favorite is the giant bacon cheese burger. They come loaded. I like mine with mayo/ketchup. I put salt and pepper on it to taste and consume it there on the premises while it is still piping hot. For added flavor, I do bring my own cajun seasonings to spice it up. The fries are thin and crisp. The softdrinks are balanced perfectly. The best thing is the price: One would go to some of the higher priced chains and pay up to $$ for a burger of this size and quality. But not at Griff's. It will not dent your wallet. It is one of the best burgers I have eaten in the area. read more

The prices were fair, and the people that had actually been working are friendly . I ate here and one of the employees was making out with another, the kitchen staff do not wear gloves. It could have very well been an off day but in all honesty there were atleast 6 employees just hanging out chatting it up. By the looks of things their was plenty to do. read more

If you have ever eaten at a Griff's out of state, you know how good their burgers and fries can be. Affording that we are in Shreveport/Bossier, the lower rating has more to do with the labor pool. The entire staff seems uninterested in being there and the grill cooks usually cremate the hamburger patties. The one redeeming factor is the cheap prices. read more

Just visited this burger joint today. Ordered a big burger #4 that has three patties and cheese with onion rings instead of fries. So with only one other car in line I wait for about 6 or 7 minutes in the drive thur. Finally, got the food went home just 2 miles away. Come to find out that my huge burger that I ordered and PAID for was actually a small burger one patty no cheese and barely warm. At the very lease since I waited that long in a drive thur that tinny winnie burger should be hot and fresh. Plus the rings was so cold and chewy I couldn't eat them. I feel so ROBBED if I had time I would have drove back up to that crappy place and lay into them but no time today but will tomorrow. read more
