I got the falafel plate which came with chickpeas, rice, flatbread and salad. The rice was good- a BIG portion of rice. It comes with a seasoned rice and plain white basmati rice as well. The falafel was good size and had some texture to the outside of it. The chickpeas were ok, I've had better. The bread was also really good, freshly made and very soft! Ordered the #1 Kobeeda Kabob, very tender and tasty. The rice and salad were perfect with the ground beef kabob, along with the side of chick peas and flat bread included. The white sauce made the dish even better. I could've eaten half and saved the rest for dinner, but I ended up eating all of it like a little piggy because it was so good. So so to be honest: I've been a few times. There's nothing wrong with the food and, because it's near my house, delivery times tend to be quick. BUT...uh....meh for the most part. At a recent dinner, beef was chewy and a bit overcooked (not that kabobs are supposed to be medium rare) and rice boring. While the menu promised hot sauce, the actual package came with two kinds of salad dressing...had to rummage around in my fridge to perk things up. Good place for kebab but can have better customer service. Was new to this place and went in evening to order take out. When told being new to place , the lady at the restaurant, rather than recommending something, asked us to refer the menu. That was point down right over there. It was not a busy time as there was no one around. Having that said , we took the chicken kebab , that came with rice(two types) , salad , a naan . We also got Baklava (separately). Portion size was good. The chicken was fresh, moist but could have been more flavorful. The Baklava was definitely not worth it. It was dry and slightly soggy. Not worth the price the menu is. The customer service can be improved. Will definitely try other kebab places before checking this place again. Good food, but took forever to make and get during lunchtime. Came in to try this newish place as I had seen it while driving through this shopping center in the past. It was empty, though at 2:20 pm, I'm not surprised! Ordered a Beef Kabob Salad as I need to cut back on the carbs even though the rice at a kabob place is delicious. I would have thought it would have been up in 15 minutes, but I was there almost 30 before the food was ready. Though it took a long time, the food was a very good. I got a healthy amount of bread, as well as an order of chickpeas in a delicious, but spicy sauce. Had plenty of white sauce and a container of green sauce, but I chose to just eat the salad as is with the beef and plenty of salad and vegetables. Everything in the salad was fresh and crisp and tasty. The meat, definitely marinated in a blend of sauce and spices was delicious and very filling. I'm usually completely filled up on salad, but this definitely kept me full for a while. Only downer was how long it took to prepare. If it takes this long during a lunch rush, people are going to be waiting a long time to get their food and won't be happy. I'll try again in regards to that. I ordered the veggie kabob platter (the only thing that I wasn't able to eat was the bread that comes with it). First time at Grill Kabob and it didn't disappoint. I had the lamb kabob platter. The lamb was flavorful and tender. Two types of rice and a chickpea stew with salad is included with the platter. My son had the beef and chicken combo platter. The chicken was more spicy than the beef and both were delicious. The staff are nice. The tables are clean. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food you get. The samosas were also delicious. I would definitely return. read more

The food here is pretty good for the most part, and the portions are pretty big. I've only tried take out and never actually eaten at the restaurant because the seats are very limited. They did such an amazing job that they made this store one of the most famous afghan kabob place of all time. they have so many good kabob choices. Another casual fast restaurant- nice to see places filling in the empty store fronts. Its pretty bare inside, with a small counter to order at. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was decent- the gyro sandwich had good flavor but hardly any tzaziki on it, and the other dishes we had ordered to go didn't come with any sauces, which was a disappointment. All that said, I feel like it was way overpriced for the portions and quality. However, a plate of tasteless carbohydrates with one sad lamb kebob stuffed between too much rice and some shreds of lettuce, with one soda and a price tag of $18.53 is a total rip-off, even for over-priced Reston. I have been coming to this restaurant for some time now and the food is incredible! My favorite dish is the lamb platter and I usually ask for an extra side of spinach. So amazingly delicious.
