We went to Cheetah B's while staying in Seneca Rocks, WV. It was about a 30 minute drive away from where we were staying, but there are not a lot of restaurant options right by Seneca Rocks. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was spacious and was also packed with happy diners. The decor is a lot of framed "live laugh love" posters, which are all for sale. The server was very friendly and attentive. We tried the fried bread with apple butter, which was basically a big donut. I thought it was delicious but very filling for an appetizer. We also had the coconut shrimp, which were fine but nothing special. For an entree, I had the pulled pork sandwich. It did not have enough bbq sauce in my opinion, and the fries were just okay. My husband had the rack of ribs, which were delicious. But they were out of mac n cheese, so we were bummed about that. I had a sweet tea that was sweeter than I like but still good. We didn't have room for dessert, but we got a slice of cheesecake to go. My husband liked the cheesecake!

Excellent portion sizes for the value. The staff was very polite and attentive. Had a nice home feel with a 50's style vibe. Would definitely return if in the area again.

A casual dining spot with basic American variety menu and few surprises. The service was friendly and the food came out fast considering how very busy they were during our visit. They do take reservations and also offer takeout and delivery. Pros: The reservation system was easy to use and we were seated immediately on arrival. Everyone was extremely pleasant and checked in with us several times to make sure we had what we needed. All of our food was fresh and flavorful.... Absolutely no complaints about the quality of our dinners. Prices were fair. Cons: The interior was a little dark and in need of updating (but looked clean). The entry was cluttered and from our table near the bar we could see into the storage room in the back of the restaurant. The amount of dip served was sparse considering the amount of chips served with it, over half the chips were left over once the dip was finished. Also the quesadillas were too juicy to be served on paper. Once I started eating with a knife and fork I worried that I may be tearing and possibly eating some the paper disintegrating beneath it....easily solved by serving on a standard plate. In summary, Cheetah B's could use some sprucing up but the food is quite good and worth a visit.

Delicious! Perfect end to our day while vacationing in Smoke Hole! Friendly service ! Make sure to order something with the whiskey bourbon glaze... oh my! Had on the wings, couldn't get enough, yum! I asked to buy some glaze to take home, don't forget yours too!!

The restaurant itself needs a facelift, but the food is great. We had pulled pork with french fries, cajun pasta, and grilled sirloin. The cajun pasta was excellent, followed by the pork. The steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly however the meat was tough. We all agreed that a return trip would be warranted when in the area again.

I've eaten crab cakes all over including several famous MD crab cakes and I work at a fresh seafood market where we make our own crab cakes. So when I say I know my crab cakes.... I know my crab cakes. Talk of the mountain: this is a super cute and friendly small restaurant located on Main Street. It is very local friendly and the kind of place the staff/owners would know your name and your regular order. I LOVE that. The staff are warm and inviting. You can watch them breading your food and chat with them as you eat. I loved watching. We got the crab cake with fried oysters and shrimp plate with Mac n cheese and fries and hush puppies and another fried shrimp plate with their slaw. It was pretty pricey but we expected that when buying quality seafood. The fried shrimp were absolutely incredible as were the fried oysters (minus the pearl my son found in the one he ate... but again not too much of a surprise). The taste was great, the cook time was perfect, they were delicious! The fries were seasoned and tasty as were the hush puppies (nothing to scream about but definitely good!) the slaw was good (according to my son... I'm not a slaw person). The Mac n cheese was definitely different but not exactly mind blowing. I felt indifferent I didn't love it and feel like I needed it tomorrow, but it wasn't bad. I honestly didn't have an opinion either way on it but I did eat it. The crab cake. The good: this was literally packed with crab meat. Obviously we seek out places that Jam Pack their crab cakes with actual pieces of quality lump crab. Talk of the Mountain certainly does this.... In my opinion to the extreme. When they say zero fillers, they MEAN IT. So does zero fillers make a good crab cake? In my opinion not this way. It was not my cup of tea and I love crab and crab cakes (obviously). It seemed like their formula for the binder was a mustard based concoction and then it was solid crab. The flavor left a lot to be desired and it didn't feel like eating crab cake because there was no filler at all. Making crab cakes is such a delicate balance, a true art in my opinion and while TOTM most definitely is serious about ensuring you taste the crab in their "cakes" the end result was more of a pile of lump crab with a sauce. All that being said I would absolutely eat there again. They were fabulous and I truly applaud their style. This is just my personal perspective from the one visit. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area! Rating: my knee jerk is to give this a 4 because I really am not a fan of the Crabcake and would not order it again, however everything else and the people were 10 stars so I feel like a 5 star rating is deserved. If they ever modified their recipe I would try it again happily AND will def eat there again. The shrimp and oyster was phenomenal.

My girlfriend and I decided to come here because the reviews were great and we hoped that it wouldn't be crowded. And boy am I glad that we did! Do note that parking can be a bit awkward, we decided to park across the street in the post office parking lot which I'm not entirely sure was legal but it was a Sunday so they weren't open anyways. Immediately upon walking in you can take in the entire restaurant. Maybe ten tables, a little counter, and then two doors leading to the restrooms/kitchen respectively. The hostess sat us down immediately and I felt like we were treated so nicely. The small town vibes of the place really shown through. Seems like the place had a bunch of regulars too and the hostess was making conversation. I was torn between the Dayton burger and the waffle with breakfast meat, but ultimately went with the burger. I was not disappointed at all! The burger was cooked perfectly, super juicy and tender. It got a little messy but that's what you want out of a good burger. I also got a side of onion rings. They were very crispy and delicious, and paired well with their aioli. The sandwiches also come with a pickle spear on the side which I love. My girlfriend got the cali burger which was advertised as coming with guacamole. She said it tasted more like mashed avocado than true guacamole; nevertheless she enjoyed her burger. I will definitely be coming back here! Do yourself a favor and enjoy some delicious food while also supporting this super friendly local business.
