We were both drooling over the blueberry cheesecake that we got two. We also got the Apple Crumble. My husband said he thought the Cheesecake was the best he ever had. He said even better than Juniors in NYC. I agree that is some of the best cheesecake that I have ever had. Only better if my Great Grandma Ruthie's and my moms. My family and I stopped in here to celebrate my little brother's birthday, and overall, it was a solid experience. ​ We had eaten elsewhere and walked over, so I can't speak to the parking lot specifically, but the area is bustling. It's a very convenient spot to hit if you're already in the neighborhood and looking for a good dessert. Everyone in the family ordered something different, and the portions are generous. I'm not kidding, it took me a few days to finish my single slice. I went with the Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake. It was a solid life choice, though I'll note that the lemon was more sugary than tart. Lucia was nice and friendly. I'm Obsessed with APPLEPIE and will come here often, for a slice whenever I'm in the mood to treat myself. First time in at Pie Snob and it was fantastic!! The store was super clean and Mona was so incredibly nice and offered great suggestions! We were in on National Ice Cream day so we had to try the Gelato, which hit the spot and left with a slice of cherry pie to take home. Which was DEFINITELY the move! It was the last day of our Phoenix trip, visiting from Las Vegas. My family and I were looking for something sweet to eat down in Chandler, Arizona, next to San Tan and Queen Creek. We originally were going to go for ice cream, but after looking at the phenomenal pictures of the pies at Pie Snob, we had to go get some slices of pie! Pie Snob Chandler is in downtown Chandler, next to the Brickyard. The parking spots can be sort of limited. It's right on the main street of downtown Chandler. As soon as we walked in, we noticed how spacious the dessert shop was! There is plenty of table seating available. The restaurant was clean, and all of the inventory was well stocked! Our eyes immediately gravitated to the pies! In stock on a Friday afternoon, before New Years, Pie Snob had the following pies Key Lime Cherry Red Velvet Cheesecake Chocolate Cream White Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake Raspberry Caramel Apple Apple Crumb We could resist and end up getting the following slices Chocolate Cream, Raspberry, Caramel Apple, and Apple Crumb. The price wasn't too expensive, less than $30.00 for all of the slices. The slices are relatively large, too! It was nice as the team packed each individual slices in to-go containers, provided us with utensils, and napkins! There was also gelato available. You could even top your pie with a scoop of the gelato! We took our order to go though and ate some of the pie slices in the hotel. The chocolate cream pie was amazing! The flavor wasn't a dark chocolate, and the crust was crumbled Oreo. There was dusted chocolate, almost like cocoa on top of the whipped cream. The caramel apple slice was super sweet! There was so much sauce on top of it! The crumb and crust were scrumptious! I wish I knew how to make an apple pie like the one at Pie Snob! The raspberry and apple crumb were yummy as well! Don't forget before you leave Pie Snob to pick up reheating instructions, provided complimentary from the store! If you're craving some pie, you need to stop by this place! I'm sure this pie joint is usually spectacular based off of the pictures and reviews but recently tried their raspberry chiffon pie at a family members house and they really messed this pie up badly. The gelatin didn't set properly so the pie filling was basically spilling out when you cut into the pie. It literally looked like melted ice cream it was so runny. The store was great with coordinating a tasting for us, where we got to try full slices of at least 6 flavors and take home the leftovers. They were easy to work with in coordinating types and accessories like pie stands, and delivery day-of was seamless. I have been wanting to come and try out Pie Snob in Chandler for quite some time, but I always end up in Downtown Chandler later in the evening and Pie Snob is already closed. AND I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE PIE ATM So, today I had a meeting for work in Downtown Chandler, and took advantage of that opportunity to get some pie. So, the good news - they were open. The bad news, they had limited flavors because at this of year (2nd week of November), the focus is on making all the pre-ordered pies for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving and the holidays are basically the PIE SNOB SUPER BOWL. The advertised pie of the day was BUTTERMILK, which I was very excited about, but they did not have any. The flavors that they had on hand today were: Caramel Apple, Apple (both of which have a crumble top, not a rolled dough pie crust top), Key Lime, Chocolate Cream, Pumpkin Cheesescake, Pumpkin and Razzleberry. I ordered a Franken-pie, which is 6 individual slices. Caramel Apple, Apple, Key Lime, and 2 Chocolate Cream. $30 The pies have a rustic look to them, and that is not some creative way to say they look bad. They look truly handmade (which they are), and not something made to perfection by a machine. As disappointing as it was not get the Buttermilk pie, I appreciate a local business that does things by hand, and when something sells out for the day, it sells out. Of the pies I ordered, I have so far only had the Key Lime one. But let me tell you - it was delicious. I appreciate how balanced it was. The tart and sweet, and it was not overly sweet at all. Very well done. I think it's hard to tell a book by it's cover. In this instance many photos of the pies are in the to go plastic containers, and make the pies look less appealing than they actually are. So, I plated the to go Key Lime pie slice and shared that photo so you can see the pie in all the glory it is meant to have. :-) Service from Bonita was excellent. We have been dying to try this spot out for months and every time we think to stop by, they are closed. So since we were downtown for early dinner, we knew we had to save room for some pie! Hubby got the chocolate creme pie. The mousse is rich sandwiched between the whipped cream and the cookie crust. Each bite is rich and decadent. He loved the crust and he said he usually doesn't like crusts! I got the apple crumb (pie of the day). It is a HUGE thick slice! I waited until we got home to have mine so I could warm it up in the microwave a bit since it was in the cooler at the shop. I nuked it for 45secs and it was just like it came out of the oven. Placed on a nice plate with a metal fork. Not coming from the larger fridge in back served in a clear little plastic container with a cheap plastic fork. Best. Pies. Ever. So many options to choose from and always so fresh. Strawberry Rhubarb and Caramel Apple are my favorite. The crust complements the pies so perfectly and the edges are perfectly crispy/crunchy/flaky. In my opinion, the pies aren't overly sweet, but just right so you actually enjoy eating them. If it wasn't because I regularly maintain a healthy diet/lifestyle, I would be here almost daily. My only "complaint" is, I wish the "pie ATM" would function regularly.
