This was my situation: my family home was unoccupied for a brief period while my mom recovered from some severe health issues. The house was checked frequently, but not frequently enough to catch a leak from our supposedly top of the line new roof. Before we realized it, mold had colonized every area of our house. Upon hearing a description of the situation multiple mold remediation companies suggested I hire an environmental consultant/mold hygienist to figure out the type of extensive protocol needed to deal with the contamination and damage our house sustained. I contacted Heather and she made time to come all of the way to north Florida from Orlando to assess our house. Heather scrutinized every inch of the building and then clearly laid out a description of our options. But, as I told Jenni, I felt like it was meant to be, for me to call them. I had a very good experience with her and felt that she was knowledgeable and caring. They are coming out tomorrow for inspection and air sampling, and Tuesday and I will update my review at that time. ******** Update: the specialist, John, came in and made us feel very comfortable about the process. All my interactions with this business, from the time I called Jenni, to my interactions today, were so positive, which is not something I get from all companies I deal with on a regular basis. I felt empowered to make good decisions about what needs to happen next with our home. Samples were sent to the lab. The good news is, he didn't see or smell any mold. It was $295 for the hygrometer and lab testing visit. They also offer free demos but we decided to go directly to the appointment.
