Lazy Acres is the best market in Southern California! This Lazy Acres is located off Western and Franklin in the Los Feliz/ Silverlake area. I love that it's nestled up against the Hollywood Hills. It feels like you're in apart of Los Angeles that is very urban yet suburban. There are other locations but this one is one of 2 locations that is near where I live. It's a natural food and health market that provides really high quality produce, meats, seafood, bakery items, dairy, homeopathic remedies, and various organic items. I think of it is as a hybrid store between Whole Foods, Sprouts, and a sprinkle of Erewhon. I love they have a hot food bar that doesn't use any seed oils. They often use olive oil, avocado oil, or ghee for cooking their amazing and delicious foods. The salad bar is amazing as well! You get more produce options to add to your salad than your basic salad toppings. They also sell condiments, organic soaps, shampoos, remedies, and some Los Feliz merch that I think people that are not from LA would get excited about. The ambiance of this place feels very clean and well organized. Things on the shelf is easily accessible and you don't spend too much time looking for items. Aisles are wide and spacious and gives people enough room to move around. You walk in and it feels like you're at a Whole Foods without the toxicity of customers. I love that everyone (workers and customers) has a very positive mindset and vibrating at their highest frequency. The service is way better here than at ordinary grocery stores. Workers are very friendly and willing to help you find things you are looking for. You don't have to wait long to be helped and they do it with the utmost gratitude. Prices here are moderate. For good quality items and food, it's worth paying the dollar amount. It's almost the same as what you pay at Whole Foods but you get a good vibe about spending that amount because you know it's great quality and healthy stuff. It's a 5/5 for me. Good quality food and health products is always a reason to return back for more. Now, If they opened a Lazy Acres closer to where I live, that would be even a sweeter deal!

Terrible Customer Service & Disrespectful Treatment by Management I have been a loyal customer at Lazy Acres Los Feliz, spending at least $600-$700 a month here, but after my experience with their so-called "customer service," I will never shop at this store again. I called ahead to ask if I could return an IPA beer, and an employee assured me I could get store credit. However, when I arrived, the store manager, Diana, not only refused the return but outright accused me of lying, saying she "never received a call." Instead of handling the situation professionally, she humiliated me in front of other customers and condescendingly told me to "just trash it"--which I did, right in their store trash can. It wasn't about the money; it was about respect. As a paying customer who has spent thousands of dollars here, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. Diana showed neither. If this is how they treat loyal customers, I can only imagine how they handle first-time shoppers. There are plenty of other stores that value their customers--Lazy Acres Los Feliz is clearly not one of them. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

First time at Lazy Acres Market. I didn't even know about it til I recently saw it on my friends IG post. I stopped by after a doctors appointment in the area to check it out. Beautiful store, very organized and well stocked. There is a juice and coffee car right at the entrance. A poke bar, hot food bar, salad bar and few more thing. The bakery had lots of delicious pastries including mini cheesecakes yummmmm... A section of freshly baked bread and packaged cookies and scones. Variety of fresh fish and meats Also a nice selection of cheese and charcuterie which I love. Friendly customer service Lots of parking Overall a bit too pricey, I would say more expensive than Whole Foods and Gelsons but less expensive than Erewon. Most likely I will shop here again when in the area.

Smaller than usual locations but nice! I love their poke bar and their sushi selections.. not to mention a bbq bar! There's the usual counters- bakery, meat & fish, hot bar, salad/cold bar- so that's nice if you're looking for food for immediate consumption or the week's dinners. And I gotta say- the meat/seafood counter looks glorious as always! It's a bit pricey and not a place I'd go to weekly, but for those special items... absolutely! They even have fresh housemade basil pesto! Service is great.. lots of staff roaming around asking if assistance is needed. A good amount of security staff floating around the store, as well, not just at the entrance/exit. I guess that's just indicative of the location? Overall it's a lovely place... makes you really able to plan for nearly anything! My first trip was overwhelming as I wanted to go down every aisle and see everything. Spoiler alert: you can get on-demand cashew butter in addition to the almond and peanut options. Big yay!! I'll be back at some point.. probably when my wallet recovers from my $20+ small pack of chicken cutlets.

I'm never coming back. I'm over it. I've been an avid customer here since it opened, even though it's dealt with a plethora of nuances. Today was the final straw - machines weren't accepting cards, cash only. Now this incident isn't enough to upset me on its own , but the collective issues of this store is insurmountable. Last week, the entire store was shut down due to water leakage. This store regularly shuts down due to water leakage. So store hours are inconsistent. I can remember at least 4 times on my account that this has happened in the short amount of time this store has been open. The taco bar is my favorite here; however, it closes as the manager's discretion when they are understaffed. Sometimes I rush to the store after a long day to have a taco bowl instead of cooking. I cannot rely on this store to either be open or to have all options always available. Last, this place can be considered your local dog park. I have confront management when another patron had a small dog without a leash sniffing the bulk items I wanted to access. I confronted the other patron to ask her to detain her dog so I could access what I needed. The other patron exchanged some nasty words with me. Rather than engaging back I spoke to management who dealt with the other customer and also gave me a discount on my grocery items. I did report to the presence of pet dogs in the store to the health administration since then, but I suppose it didn't do much. I've seen dogs in the "sit down" area where owners keep them in their laps as they drool on the tables that never get wiped down. I've seen a taller dog stick his nozzle in the prepared food section. Dogs on leashes are always blocking walkways and access to items. Today, I asked the manager if the store loved having dogs and he said "we are very lenient here." I am really annoyed that my preference and RIGHT to shop in a store without pets around the food I want to buy is seen as a crazy idea. It is a federal regulation that pets not be around food. It isn't a federal "suggestion." I will not be shopping here any longer. I will send this review to corporate. I will re-report to the health department. All of this is really unfortunate because lazy acres has an amazing meat department and has exceptional produce options, so much that I prefer not to shop elsewhere. Today was the final straw. Being an avid customer here is unbearable and I dread coming in to access my favorite products.

    Lazy Acre's cake falling apart
    W J.

Disappointed by the special order & personalized birthday cake (carrot cake) made by Lazy Acres. Picked cake up as scheduled, took it home and gently moved from box to flat cake plate. Cake began splitting within a couple of hours - large cracks showing through the frosting (see photos). Tasted fine but looked horrible - a real party damper!! Will avoid this mistake by buying elsewhere next year.

This is an awesome grocery store. Honestly, this is what a grocery store should feel like. It's a place you can just go explore for a bit with your best friend and have a blast. Vibes are always immaculate and everyone is nice to you. The food at the hot bar is always delectable, you really gotta try the clam chowder, like for real. The dudes at the checkout are always dope and usually an aspiring actor or dancer, forget his name I think it's Pierce - tall guy - but he's a chiller! He put us on to some fire brisket samples while we were there. BEST THING THOUGH! The stuffed animals of tomato's and avocados and all that are literally the cutest thing in the world. I had to get the tomato. His name is Tillo and he's my best friend now. The organic green salsa they got is some of the best I've had. All the meats are great. They usually got some deals on chicken and what not. Oh and last thing, the sea salt bar soap they have is next level smells. It'll have your whole bathroom smelling great.

Came for the cookie, but feel in love with the store. Great service. Place was empty, and peaceful first thing in the morning. Certainly will be regularly stopping by.

And I guess a grab and go food station. Yes they still sell food, the fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed very nicely in the back of the store. They do have a great selection of beauty products I was like Nordstrom who? I might've spent longer than I should've in that section. FYI, you can buy a $22 smoothie with ebt but you have to pay at checkout then go pick up. The kiosk won't process ebt, only credit cards. I know so rude. Overall, this is easily one of my go-to grocery stores in LA, and I literally stop by almost every day. The store is always organized, clean, and easy to shop. Not everything is organic, but they carry a lot of great products, and the overall selection is strong. I usually get my daily produce here, and I also buy wine here pretty often. The water refill area is always kept clean, which I appreciate, and their fresh juice section is one of my favorite parts of the store. The larger juices come in plastic, but the price on the orange juice is hard to beat, so I keep going back for it. I also like their prepared food section. During one stretch I was buying it pretty often and was always happy with the options, especially since a lot of the food avoids seed oils and uses grass-fed beef. They even have a live kitchen where you can sign up for classes and participate in food prep, which is a really cool touch and makes the store feel more thoughtful and community-oriented. The staff is another big plus. I've interacted with a lot of the cashiers and employees here, and they've all been sweet, personable, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. You can tell the people working here care and that the store is trying to offer a better experience. My only real issue is the meat and fish section. I've tried a lot from it over time--chicken breast, wings, ground wagyu, marinated items, branzino--and too often I've felt like I wasn't getting the freshest product. That's the one department that has consistently let me down. It's disappointing because the rest of the store is so strong. I also don't really understand why the wagyu ground beef costs almost double when it's formed into patties, but that's more confusing than a dealbreaker. At the end of the day, I still think Lazy Acres is one of the best grocery stores in LA, especially for convenience, cleanliness, product mix, and staff. But I've pretty much told myself to stop buying meat here, because for the same price I can get much better quality from a proper butcher. Since it's only a 3-minute walk from me, I'll absolutely keep coming back, just with a little more selectiveness about what I buy.

The prices are more than a bit over-the-top (ugly). Whoever designed this store deserves a smack-down. The aisles are so small you have to shimmy past people. And if you are shopping with a cart, good luck to you. Legit the most baffling design choices I've ever seen. This is an example of design that actually effects the shopping experience in a BAD WAY. Total head scratcher. Whoever designed the parking lot for the entire complex is an absolute idiot. If you need to get your cart to your car, there are several issues depending on what area you park in. First up, upon exiting the store there is a curb with no visible ramp so you have to cart-jump the curb to get down to the street level to your car. Then there is a raised planter between parking and the store so that if you are on the other side of it, you have to cart-jump the curb again. Seriously? Total failure in design on both the store and the parking. But hey - 90 minutes free parking so that's a plus. $16 for a smoothie is a little excessive for sure. Was it good? Yes. That said, while I'm happy to pay more for a great selection of organic fruits and veggies, the smoothies aren't that different from one I could make at home or get somewhere else of the same quality but for less. So if you are on a budget or just resent paying $16 for a smoothie on principal, I suggest focusing on your favorite, good stuff at Erewhon which for me is the fruits / vegetables and their outstanding selection of health / beauty products and their prepared food. from the beauty section, I got something called EVERYTHNG OIL based on the recommendation of one of the staff and it is a GREAT product -- truly my skin is transformed -- well worth the $. I also discovered a yoghurt there that I love -- Painterland Sisters -- but I now buy it at Sprouts as it is cheaper there. The prepared food selection is great! Vegan dessert selection - hallelujah! And I'm a big fan of all their vegan options actually - great stuff. I like that they give you a credit for every glass bottle you bring back -- not a small one either. $2 for each bottle! That brings down the cost of those fresh juices I love so I'll take it!! :) So spend some time finding your favorite stuff - this is a place to pick up a couple of things -- not do ALL your grocery shopping. First of all, you don't want a cart in this place -- too hard to navigate. But also, a full shop at Erewhon is 3 times what any other store would cost. But they do have some very excellent products so worth it for those things IMHO but not for EVERYTHING. Also, try to choose a time to go when it's not packed. the store is claustrophobic when full.

WFM - Burbank is open from 7AM - 10PM every day, but holiday hours very, especially because we all deserve to enjoy the holidays and be merry.

I love Sasoun Produce. My little brother introduced me to this market, and I was honestly blown…read moreaway the first time I walked in. It has been surprisingly difficult to find truly fresh fruits, vegetables, and produce, but this place pretty much had it all. They carry a wide variety of seeded fruits and produce from different parts of the world, and everything looked fresh and natural rather than overly processed or mass-produced. I'm almost hesitant to leave this review because I don't want the spot to get so popular that I can never find the fruit I'm looking for again. The woman working behind the register was also extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. She allowed my brother and me to sample a few fruits that were new to us and gave us background and insight into where they came from and what made them unique. I would absolutely recommend Sasoun Produce, especially for health fanatics and anyone who may not get the opportunity to travel but still wants to experience fruits from different parts of the world. Ten out of ten.

Customer service is knowledgeable and friendly as well! I loved the entire experience and found myself smiling throughout the store! Haha! It truly was an excitable experience! International | What a variety of seasonal and exotic produce! I was amazed by so many items that I've never seen or even heard of before, including green almonds with the outer shell, which felt like velvet! I also saw some of the biggest heirloom tomatoes ever! I felt like a kid in a candy store, however, it was delicious and colorful fruit instead! I enjoyed every moment of discovering of new items! Variety is key | There was definitely a variety of price points, some higher than others! You choose what works for you! Inside | Neat and tidy! Many items were lined up ,which I love! The prices were clear, front and center! I absolutely loved that! There was also a sign showing where in the world the items were from, so cool! Sightings | While exploring the store with my Chef friend, I was introduced to another Chef and she was fun to speak to as well! It was fun, checking out the large tea section with her! Also, fun running into a recording artist that I listen to on a regular basis and chatting, as well as being invited to her upcoming event! What a fun & popular store! Checkout | Customer service was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the store, as I interacted with several people who answered my questions easily, and with a smile! I ended up getting delicious, stuffed dates, sesame cookies, a fruit called mamey sapote & another exotic fruit, which I can't think of the name of at the moment (Total $26)! My Chef friend got watermelon water & the recording artist got coconut water! Overall | Yes, please! I'm grateful that my Private Chef friend introduced me to this market! I'm still thinking about a few items inside of the market that I would definitely love to try! I'll definitely be back and thanks again for the inviting and fun experience! Who knew a supermarket could be so exciting?!! Let's go!
