99 cent Arizona Green Tea Iced Teas

I dropped by Grocery Outlet's Kietzke Lane location to pick up some drinks. Aside from the 20oz. Arizona Green Tea on sale for just 99cents, they also now have a 6-pack of Milkis for just $4.99- it comes in banana, green apple and grape flavor. I also picked up a couple packs of individually wrapped cakes (an "Ugly" cake pack and "Egg Tart) cake pack; $3.99 per pack of 6. I was kind of tickled to find they carry BTS brand coffee. Anyhow, this store has a bunch more Asian-inspired items like different varieties of Korean ramen and frozen dumplings which is kind of cool.

Quality/Quantity - Was in the neighborhood and had time to kill. So I came to check this out. Grocery Outlets used to be my place to buy international wines, but now as I am a member of so many wineries, I just can't drink that much that fast. Atmosphere - One of the better run Grocery Outlets, see pictures. Decent size beer and wine selections. The place still looks new. Plenty of mall parking. Service - N/A. Price - N/A. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1946 with 460+ locations. I know that you are a cross between an ownership and "franchise" business model. I have visited your corporate headquarters in Emeryville, CA. Congrats to Brian & Tammy Vieira at this location since 2020.

This was my first time visiting a Grocery Outlet. It isn't bad for a budget grocery store. There was a decent selection of items, and quite a large frozen food section. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in to pickup some items for a beach day at the lake. I was able to find what I was looking for very easily. The liquor selection was not bad for a budget store. Surprisingly, there is a Frey Ranch SIB bourbon bottled just for Grocery Outlet, still priced at $89.

Dika was my Checker. Such a Lovely, Gracious Lady. I had a big cart full and she was really moving with a Big, Beautiful Smile. I was a Grocery Checker for 20 years. I was Very Pleased with her Excellent Service. Sam bagged for her. What a Sweetheart. She even asked if he could help me to the car. That was the Cherry on a wonderful Sundae. He even offered to load the car. Big Smiles from both. I live in Sparks 2 blocks from Oddie Grocery Outlet. I choose the Kietzke Outlet from now on..... Thanks Again.

Yes 5 stars because I was happily surprised at the quality, prices and selections/brands of items I was looking for. I'm talking with regional brands not usually found in this area. First off, its a grocery and sundry/drug store, trying to say they have a little of a lot of everything. From garden, house, stationary, gifts and party things. I love to search for different names, styles and locales for beers/ciders/liquors/coffee/local gifts and I found it here. Like how they show the original price and the actual discounted price you pay. I'm gushing mainly because of the varied and specialty beer selections, even those super special, rare, award winning bottles. I feel I discovered a treasure trove that intrigued my quest for new tastes, styles and brands of special drinks.

The checker double charges me on one avocado, so $3, then said he "rounded up" the piece of the lemon & lime? Weird!!

This store is getting worse! Have been going there for years~they have a non stop talker "checker", who takes forever to get you through..5"then charges the wrong price. He seems to do his own thing and over charged me in a couple produce items. No caring for customer, just chaos. Grocery Outlet, hire better staff! What are you thinking?

Much of the produce is locally grown, or locally adjacent (AKA California) OK, Bananas do not grow in the Great Basin. The origin of the produce is identified. They work with local farmers, bakeries, and other local businesses for the food and non-food items. They no longer have the upstairs restaurant but they do have a kitchen and make ready to go items. I love picking up a fresh salad (some with meat some purely vegan/vegetarian) , a yummy very generously filled wrap, house made cookies and other delectable treats. They have a large selection of locally produced meats. Lots of organic canned goods, dairy and non-dairy items . . . the list goes on. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Memberships are available (20$/year) with a once a month 10% off of your total purchase. You do NOT need a membership to shop here. It's small and a bit cramped but there is a lot of good stuff there. It's clean and friendly and completely locally owned.

Anna assists me almost every time I visit, and she is a absolute joy. She always has a genuine smile on her face and possesses the best attitude. Honestly, it's some of the best customer service I've ever experienced anywhere. She consistently turns a routine grocery trip into a great day. Unfortunately, my experience at the deli counter recently was the exact opposite. I went to order a sandwich and, as a first-timer, didn't realize there was a paper form I needed to fill out first. I stood waiting for assistance, and a staff member named Teri walked up, mumbled something, and immediately started to walk away. Because I couldn't hear her, I politely asked her to repeat herself. Teri responded with an incredibly dismissive attitude, acting as though asking for clarification was a major inconvenience. She then repeated, "You need to fill out the paper," speaking very condescendingly, as if I were unable to understand basic instructions. Even after I explained that I had never ordered a sandwich here before and simply didn't know the process, her attitude remained hostile. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and off-putting interaction. If it weren't for Anna completely turning my mood around at checkout per usual, I would have walked out incredibly frustrated. Management has a real gem in Anna, but they desperately need to address the customer service standards and basic courtesy at the deli counter.

Located directly off of S. Virginia St and adjacent to S. Meadows Pkwy in the southern part of Reno, this is one of three locations in the Reno metropolitan area (with the other two stores in north Reno and Sparks). The parking lot is actually quite spacious with ample room to get in and out to the main road. During my visit which was on Friday 7/3/2026 at around 1:30pm, it was fairly busy but the store itself had a great open layout. Those of you that don't know this about WinCo Foods is that they are a private employee-owned company. Prices are probably the best you will find anywhere other than Costco but here you won't get the massive crowds that Costco experiences on any given day. Keep in mind that WinCo only accepts cash, debit cards, and Apple Pay/Google Pay as they do not take credit cards of any kind. Also, you must bag your own groceries but this is their trademark to all of their locations in the western United States. I do want to add that since this is the state of Nevada, this WinCo actually has a small dedicated area (towards the front) where slot machines are available. This is great for those that want to avoid the hustle and bustle of going to an actual casino. In addition to that, they also have an area where alcohol is sold, a customer service area (where you can buy cigarettes, money orders, money transfers, payroll check cashing, and much more). Public restrooms are also available towards the front area of the supermarket. As for the store itself, much of the produce (fruit/veggies) was very fresh and well stocked. They also carry a huge assortment of bulk foods (nuts, rice, pasta, flour, candy, etc.). an amazing variety of meat & poultry, a dedicated bakery and deli section, and just about everything else you can think of. I find their selection to be much better than other big box grocery stores as this place always carries what I am looking for. Best of all, they are open 24 hours. When I made all my purchases, I went to the self check-out aisle (as they accept cash, debit, or tap-to-pay). The whole process was seamless and easy. All in all, the south Reno "WinCo Foods" gets a respectable four-star rating.

All of this while providing full-time positions and livable wages with benefits too. Winco proves it! In the 20+ years that I've been a Winco customer, I've always been treated well which is a phenomenal track record that some jerk has ruined. Why Linda, why? She was covering the service desk and I came in to return a defective item. As I approached the desk, she was looking me up and down with a very strange expression. So because of this, I wasn't affable but I definitely wasn't rude. I cut to the chase of why I was there. She treated me VERY badly which I ignored for the most part, stating that in all of the years that I've shopped at Winco I've never been treated so poorly. She responded by saying that I was the problem and invited me to call the corporate office! Then she said aggressively, "I've had three horrible customers in one day!" repeating it a few times. I asked to speak to a manager and she quipped that he was busy and he couldn't get away so I asked someone else to page him for me and she interfered with that page, telling them to cancel it. This is a brand new store and everyone else is amazing which is what I'm used to. I wrote this shortly after the store first opened and haven't had an unpleasant experience since and I shop here weekly. I also have not seen Linda. It's a great store with great employees and low prices. I'll keep buying whatever they have that I need from Winco. This store is my first go to store.
