My group of friends and I were purchasing snacks and waiting respectfully in line at Register 14. Our group consisted of one African American individual and three Southeast Asian individuals. When it was our turn to check out, the cashier told us the store was closed and refused to ring up our items. She directed us to customer service instead. When we went to customer service, we were informed that the store was actually still open until 10:00 PM. What made the situation even more upsetting was that after refusing to serve us, the cashier immediately rang up the customer behind us. If the store was truly closed, why were other customers still being checked out? The entire interaction felt targeted, disrespectful, and humiliating. While I cannot know the cashier's intentions, being denied service while another customer was served moments later left my friends and me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Rather than argue, I left all of my items behind and walked out. I have shopped at 99 Ranch for years and never expected to experience something like this. I hope management reviews the surveillance footage and register activity from Register 14 around 9:00 PM on June 6, 2026, and addresses why customers were falsely told the store was closed while others continued to receive service. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I regularly drive at least 12 miles past other grocery stores just to shop at the Kensington Park Drive location because their customer service has always been outstanding. The staff there is friendly, helpful, and makes the extra trip worth it every single time. Today I decided to try the Red Hill location instead, and I was really let down. The store seemed mostly empty, but the cashier Adrian at the 15-items-or-less register got visibly upset when he saw I had 17 items. I immediately apologized and explained I wasn't paying attention and had just gone to the closest register. Even though there was no line behind me (just one employee buying a drink) and another register was open, he made it very clear that my 2 extra items were a major inconvenience. It honestly ruined what should have been a quick, simple trip. After years of great experiences at your other store, this one bad interaction left a sour taste. I'm now seriously considering trying the other grocery stores closer to me instead of continuing to drive out of my way.

As I left the store, I immediately looked at my receipt and noted they charged me full price for the sodas. I went back in and they discovered that the promotional price had expired but that the staff hadn't removed the signs yet. They refunded me the difference so I'm glad I caught the error. They then removed the promo price signs so other customers wouldn't think there was a sale like I did. I then drove to the work office to eat my lunch. I opened the sandwich and noticed it was slathered with mayo which I didn't request nor do I like. They have this form at the deli counter which you have to fill out with check boxes for bread, meat, veggies and condiments. I checked off "mustard" and hand wrote in "on both sides". I decided to drive back to the store (which was an inconvenience) and told the deli counter about the mayo. I acknowledged that "mistakes happen" and that I was a regular customer, and I'd appreciate if they would make me "whole". The deli person made me a fresh sandwich and instructed me to go to a cashier to request a refund. I did that and I was appreciative of the fact that they didn't argue, apologized for the mistake and did something corrective (i.e. I got the refund with no argument). I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 rating because while I was inconvenienced, I feel they handled my complaint in a fair and proper manner and for that I feel satisfied. I will continue to remain a customer of Sprouts. I always believed that while mistakes can and do happen in every business, what's really important is how a company handles those mistakes. If they take accountability and work with their customers to address issues, I'm inclined to continue to do business with them since they show they value the patronage.

I used to go the Grocery outlet in Orange or Costa mesa. But this one just opened a while ago and made my job a lot easier. I like their wine selections and they are super cheap. No other stores have such a great collection of wines and at that price. You can get a Bordeaux for under $10 and that's amazing. I think import wines are much better in taste. Specially Italian, Spanish and French wines. Their chain of stores are growing and that's good because there are a lot of savings at these stores. read more

This is seriously my favorite place to shop for groceries! I start out at grocery outlet and see what I can find. From there I go to other stores to purchase any items I could not get. If you can buy it at grocery outlet it's going to be the best price you're going to get anywhere! My favorite store is the Tustin one and next favorite the one in Orange on Chapman. read more
