All of our guests loved the grounds, they are really the perfect setting for the weekend. Thies and Brandon, the property managers, are very cool dudes and were just super easy to work with. Cathedral City has some pretty rigid rules, but Thies told us how to set up our speakers to be loud enough for a good time without breaking any city ordinances. During our stay there, we used pretty much all of the grounds throughout the weekend. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and the dinner/reception were all held in different areas. Some of our friends played tennis in the morning, and we used the big pool and hot tub as well. The smaller pool was pretty cold as we were there in March, but heating the big pool was definitely worth it for our Saturday, post-wedding pool party. We did not have any issues with the plumbing, it was great having our friends stay with us for the weekend, and again, Thies and Brandon were excellent to work with. Highly recommend this place if you want to make your wedding a weekend affair to remember. Hopefully we can book this for our 10 and 20 year anniversaries. Thanks again.

The wedding party got to enjoy a few nights' stay in the houses of this property while the guests stayed at nearby hotels. The houses are charming with rustic furniture and comfy beds. We loved the main pool with all the inter-tubes; just what the doctor ordered the day after the wedding! The bride & groom brought in a dj, bartender and catering service they knew. I guess they had Soho Tacos catering the night of the wedding, which I love! Wish I had known. It would have probably helped me out the next morning!

We came with a big group of families and stayed in several of the different casitas throughout the property, which was honestly perfect. We basically had our own little ranch getaway! Each casita had separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED all the animals! There are horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and more, and guests can interact with, pet and sometimes even ride the animals. One morning, the ranch manager took all of our kids around to visit the animals and gave each of them food and carrots to feed them. They had the best time and thought it was the coolest thing! The pool area was probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool was the perfect temperature and the setting is gorgeous -- there's a huge natural boulder right alongside it and the mountains are basically your backdrop. There are cabanas for lounging and a long shaded table where our whole group could sit together and eat meals. It was such a pretty, relaxing spot. And then there's the SALOON! Such a fun touch and definitely a hit with our group. It has western-style saloon doors, a bar area, an air-conditioned game room with pool tables, and picnic tables outside. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. There's also a fire pit by the main ranch house where the kids made s'mores at night, which was the perfect way to end the day. This is such a great place for families or groups traveling together who want something different from the typical Palm Springs hotel experience. You really feel like you've escaped to a little mountain/cowboy ranch, while still being close enough to downtown to go out to dinner, shop, or explore. The kids had a blast, the adults got to relax, and having so much of the ranch to ourselves made the whole weekend even more special. Such a hidden gem in Palm Springs!!

Onsite there are a variety of large tortoises in specialty spots enjoying their environment. At the end of the garden, there is a nursery where plants can be purchased along with gardening trinkets. For the value, this is one to not miss! I've been coming here for years since I was a little girl and I enjoy the fact that Moorten sticks to their roots and have kept the layout the same allowing me to feel nostalgia each time I visit. My husband, a stroke survivor walking with a wheeled walker, had no problem getting through to the entryway on the long paved path from the external gate on Miles Street. Inside, the exhibits are so interesting and the facility is bright and clean. We love Indio, so seeing the history of the city's populace enriched our understanding about life in early days. They have a beautiful shop which is now added to my list if cool places to obtain unique gift items. Parking is right across Miles on the corner, directly facing the big museum gate. A ramp connects the parking lot to the roadway. While the property is not a massive one, Coachella Valley Museum is a rich cultural walk through the olden days and you are still close to the downtown area and hidden foodie hangouts like Gabino's Creperie and the Friday Night Food Trucks or the sweet Farmers' Market.

The home is large and sprawling-- offering plenty of tucked-away areas for privacy and quiet, as well as grand communal areas for gathering the entire group together. Extraordinary grounds-- including a beautiful pool, tennis court, open grassy area... and several water fountains, with sweet hummingbirds that visit frequently.
