The guy who answered the phone, Rick, was super friendly and very polite. He told me I could have my car towed that day and they'd try to take a look at it, but it was a Friday so he wasn't sure if they'd get to it. Totally fine. He gave me the number of a tow company that they work with that picked up my car. I didn't hear anything by the end of the day Friday, so I figured they weren't able to get to it. On Monday I got a call from Rick who gave me the bad news... pretty expensive repair but I had already figured that out from Googling. He said he'd order the parts and hopefully get them yet that day. I didn't hear anything back by the end of the day, so I figured they weren't able to get to it. Ha! Then I got a call on Tuesday afternoon saying my car was ready. Luckily my boyfriend and I work together so I wasn't needing a car while it was being worked on. Rick was again super friendly and polite when I picked up my car and everything is running smoothly again. He even followed up with me a couple days later via text to see if everything was still going okay. The lack of communication I experienced the first couple of days might stress some people out, but I wasn't too worried. I will be going to Mason Street Garage for all maintenance from now on. It's really nice to support a local business that cares about their customers and provides friendly service during what can be stressful situations.

Contacted Sid's as one of four potential places to work with and the price range estimated was half that of others. Had the van towed in for service and they had it up and running the same day under the higher amount they quoted. We have been driving the van for the past week and honestly it runs better than before the issue occurred. Very fortunate to have found Sid's and have them resolve the issue!

I ended up paying in full for an engine replacement which took 2 weeks longer than was said. I was told a week, then tomorrow every other day after that. I say every other day because they kept saying they'd call me and never did ever even when it was "done". I also told John that i wanted to see the alleged hole in the old engine when I paid before they started the job and everytime i talked to him i reminded him then all of a sudden the old engine was gone and they couldn't show me. I also of course asked them to check the surrounding parts while in there like battery, alternator, etc. 2 days after completion I had to have my vehicle towed back there guess what i needed a battery, now im sitting here again possibly in need of an alternator or electrical work. But the day i picked up my vehicle i pull it out of the space, walk around and immediately noticed my passenger front wheel well cover is missing as im now looking at the inside of my bumper and engine there's also wiring hanging about 2 inches from ground. I go in and mention it to john who tells me it must not have been on there the mechanic didn't have to remove it to put the engine in. Im like wait... what? Also somehow tore up my seatbelt guide on my drivers seat and my air force lanyard i bought my gf. Anybody wanna guess what that wiring went to. The alternator. When i opened my glove box all the screws from the wheel well fell out. I really wish id read the reviews pay attention to who has complaints and who says their services are so amazing. I don't think they're incompetent i think it's a little deeper than that i also bought tires btw so don't think that the amount is going to make a difference. Oh and 04 cavalier i could have put this engine in myself just no time or tools.

He took my car into the garage and worked a small miracle on my car. The dent was gone and the bumper was reattached. We have gone to this place for over 40 years and have always gotten great service, but with new owners now, I was not sure. They are definitely keeping up the great work that Jim started. Jim, the person that does estimates at Burton Heights Auto Body will promise to do things and then…read morenot follow through. I had an insurance claim that needed attention. Jim gave me an estimate a few months ago for additional minor repairs along with a complete paint job. When it came time to do the work, Jim then increased the price dramatically. He then promised to raise the vehicle on a lift when it was in the shop to give me a more accurate estimate. That new estimate never happened as Jim said parts were not available. I checked online as soon as I returned home and found several sources for parts. I also asked for an alignment while my vehicle was in the shop. Jim told me that someone crawled underneath the car and said it did not need an alignment. That is not how you check alignment. Really, If the vehicle pulls to the left or right then it is alignment related. The vehicle was never raised on a hoist nor put on an alignment rack. I let Burton Heights Auto Body repair my vehicle and was not satisfied with the service, nor the deceit and unkept promises. I have referred many people to this establishment in the past making the company many thousands of dollars. That does not include the thousands that I have spent. Yet, when I had to go through the process all Jim cared about was the insurance check and not making the customer happy by meeting the requirements and promises that he made to me. Deceit is not good business... NO MORE REFFERALS!

Prior to my car being side-swiped while parked, I had some streaking from a product I paid for, which had paint warranty, and my white car was not looking as good as the day I bought it 4 years ago. Once the damage was repaired and it was time to get my car, and they had went above and beyond and buffed out all the streaking on the opposite side of the damage, and even re-painted my front bumper. They were able to diagnose quickly (and for free) , then completed the work just as quickly for reasonable dollar. Then, more recent, I had a nicer and newer car that was not driveable after a different mechanic blew out the clutch while moving the vehicle in and out of the shop. I had it towed to Bob's because I was told the mechanic likely damaged the internal Transmission. Bob's was able to accept my vehicle from the tow truck without issue, and diagnose quickly. Due to the circumstances, we had to tow the car to a different location (because of the fault of the prior mechanic as they were willing to fix for free at the shop of their choosing), but had I been given a choice, Bob's would have received the task. When I asked them how much I owed for their diagnosis, they told me $0. When I offered to pay something to them, they refused. If you want quality work from an HONEST and HARD WORKING company, then stop searching because this is it!!
