Great place to visit if you are looking for a casual atmosphere and craving burgers. We have been here multiple times and have ordered their burgers, chicken and salad. They also have great sweet potato fries and regular fries. The regular fries are almost like the board walk fries less the grease. The burgers are more greasy as they are fried and not grilled. We're in Franklin for the holiday weekend and decided to check yelp for some restaurant recommendations. We wanted something simple, quick and affordable, so after reading some reviews we decided to give Ground a try. The food was great and the prices are pretty reasonable for the times. The portions are huge! Our party all had burgers and we all really enjoyed them. My personal favorite was the sweet potato fries. They're served with cold apple butter and it's the most unique and delicious combination. Highly recommend. What really stood out to us was the customer service. The employees were fabulous. Looked up what restaurants in the area had a great Yelp reviews. Spotted this one. We headed over. Our group got a Jr burger, melt, and a pair of the fire burgers. Super tasty food. Place was not clean, food on tables and chairs. Trash can/tray return area had mustard and ketchup all over counter. The kiosk where you order had hand prints and dirt all over it. The drinks are about 6 oz cups and cost $3, so unless you are dining in drinks are not worth it. The burgers are frozen patties like you buy at Sam's club and Kroger. A lot of room for improvement. I was going to check their health certificate to see what kind of score Franklin gave them, but it wasn't anywhere to be found. First impressions are everything and sorry to say we won't be back. Tried out this place while in town and I was impressed, the food was excellent and service from the teens that night was top notch! We ordered the fried pickles and two burgers, the flavor and quality hit the spot!!! Awesome they offer lettuce buns and gluten free options for if you have certain health habits. When we ordered fried pickles, they said they had run out of fried pickles for the day. We were disappointed because that's the reason we had come here but the staff found a solution by agreeing to use the pickles used for hamburger toppings to make us the appetizer. The extra effort and attentiveness and good attitude from the staff made our evening!! The Place had such a good menu and the food we ate was mouthwatering. I'm glad my colleagues suggested this place. I had a bad craving for burgers today and our usual togo burger places are either Drake's or Five guys. Someone said Ground and everyone started getting excited. Me being new to this place made a mental to go here if we couldn't make it today. I got the spicy burger and I loved it. It's not that spicy and the patty was perfect. This is my second favorite burger joint after Drake's now. The fries were okay. This place is definitely a solid place for a hamburger. Pretty good value as I did the build your own burger. This includes any toppings of your choice! I did the cheddar cheese, lettuce, bacon, caramelized onions, and avocado! All of this for $11 and it included a large portion of fries. Overall, good value for a pretty good burger! Fast service, easy ordering system, excellent variety of menu items, casual ambiance with a variety of music. The burger I ordered was exceptional! Looked like it should have been used for a menu photo shoot. It was fresh, flavorful and exactly what I needed after a long road trip. My daughter loved her chicken sandwich and it was so fresh that she was able to reheat the leftovers in our air fryer and it was almost as good the second time around.
