My sister and I popped into here to pick up a Green smoothie w/ spirulina and an Oatmeal cookie. It was very busy but made sense being a Sunday morning. Our smoothie took about 5-10 minutes after ordering and enjoyed the taste since we wanted something a little sweet with some fiber. The oatmeal cookie wasn't my favorite since they added an additional citrus flavor and I'm not usually a fan of zesty desserts. Overall, its a cute and decent size cafe where you can easily spend hours working or relaxing. There are about 10 small tables to sit at so there weren't any seats when we were there. My 3rd visit, every time really good! Amazing pastries- try the coffee cakes. Good coffee, lots of choices in style, fair prices. Everything fresh, and discounts on day olds. My husband and I LOVEEE this cafe so much! Stopped here back in December and we loved their coffee/baked goods so much that we stopped here on the way back home again in July. The service first of all is always great. The place is cozy and has just enough seating. They always have some amazing seasonal treats. Carrot cake and Pesto Goat cheese croissant is our favorite. We love their coffee and roasted beans and always bring a few bags to take home with us. I wish they were close to where I live and not over 2 hours away, but nevertheless I am going to stop here anytime I am in the area. read more

Cafe Creme has been a staple of Bath for a long time. The location is perfect, right in the middle of downtown. The coffee and tea is very good. Lots of smoothies to choose from. Service is friendly. There is a decent amount of seating. Prices are very reasonable. My favorite thing about Cafe Creme is how happy a place it is. I always run into other locals I know, and it has good vibes. Unpretentious and consistent. A place where all are welcome. If I could change one thing, I'd say they need some new pastry recipes, and it would be awesome to see bagels on the menu since there's nowhere in Bath that serves them. I love baked goods, but unfortunately most of Cafe Creme's cookies and scones just don't appeal to me much. They are a little rubbery and taste like maybe they are made with shortening. I think the recipes could use more butter and improved texture and flavor. read more

The coffee shop of Bath! At the intersection of Front and Centre Streets, it deserves all the attention. They have a great menu for all your coffee needs along with hot teas and smoothies. They also have a ton of pastries and baked goods to choose from. Food wise, I'd recommend the stuffed breakfast croissants. Pair it with any pastry (bc all are amazing) and you're set. The one thing that keeps me coming back is that I can bring my 32oz yeti in and get a $2 iced coffee in it. Economical, less plastic, and I stay caffeinated! The owner is almost always there, and the staff are some of the nicest in town. Big recommend! read more

This place is a GEM. The vibes are so laid back and homey, it's exactly what we needed for a rainy day in Bath. We tried the pulled pork and mango empanadas, which had a great flavor but were dry (granted we went there at the end of the day). We also tried the bacon scone (soooo soft and savory) & of course a slice of blueberry pie (ugh phenomenal and not too sweet of a filling!!) I ordered a black Breakfast tea which came in a little teapot (with unlimited water refills & 50cent tea bag changes) and my partner got a Brevé which she enjoyed. This place is a gem. The staff all had smiles and they had a nice message to patrons outside of the cafe. Their homemade maple bacon cinnamon roll (made only on Saturdays) was delicious. Paired with a mocha latte (using Ghirardelli chocolate), it made for a great start of a day. read more

Wife and I LOVE this place!!! Found it a couple years ago while staying in Bath which is a great little historic down town. The Cappuccino and Lattes are perfect and pastries incredible! We are SO happy to find they are still open after pandemic. Many Maine restaurants have extremely long waits they say are from inability to staff. However, Cafe Creme appears to be operating quickly and perfectly. Cappuccinos and Lattes are the real deal in the big porcelain mugs. Almond croissants, cinnamon rolls and blueberry ricotta turnovers are fantastic. The atmosphere here is great since it's in a historic building with windows onto old Main Street. The staff is helpful and cheerful. One staff member had a shirt that said "Work hard, be nice"! We recommend for coffee and pastries and will definitely be back ourselves. read more

I like this spot but the space is tight. I wish they'd get rid of a table or two. It's been packed both times I went, so I guess they need the tables, but... The hot chocolate is tasty and so are the baked goods. They also have some things for kids to play with, a little kitchen and maybe some other toys.
