Group 3 Helicopters is the best! To celebrate our birthdays, my husband and I enjoyed the 50 minute tour from Van Nuys Airport over the Santa Monica Mountains to Malibu. The weather was perfect and our views of the ocean were spectacular. We circled Downtown LA, Century City, Beverly Hills, and Belaire viewing magnificent mansions! Had a great time taking the Grand Tour around LA. It went from Van Nuys down to Malibu, along the coast and all the way downtown (Disney Hall, Crypto.com center etc.). We then flew by the Hollywood sign and headed back. I highly recommend the experience especially if you're visiting LA for the first time. It helps you get the lay of the land much better. Try to request Jeff, as he was an absolute treat of a pilot. read more

Our pilot was so pleasant and welcoming . It was my first time getting on a helicopter and the ride was smooth . The pilot seemed very experienced which made the ride more enjoyable because of the sense of security he provided . Views were breathtaking, he even took a lot of pictures for us so that was really wonderful. The little picnic at the top of the mountain with ocean view was definitely romantic and delightful. I surprised my wife for our anniversary with a Group 3 Helicopter Beach/Hollywood Tour. Claudia and Pete were great to work with, they even changed the flight path at my request to fly over the annual Waves of Flags display at Pepperdine University, it was magnificent to see from the air. I've used this facility to get all my 3 written exams for the A&P certificate. Really comfortable place and environment to do so. Claudia is the person who answered all my questions through the phone first and then was my proctor during exams. Everything was explained pretty clear, so I passed all 3 written tests and really sorry that they do not provide with O&P examination.
