My vision is pretty good overall, but I've been having trouble reading lately, especially in dark…read morerooms and restaurants at night. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Roberts and the staff at Park Lane. They were polite and kept the appointment flowing. Some ophthalmologists just shoot you through, but Dr. Roberts gave a very thorough exam, and even more importantly, he carefully explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it, and why things happen to your vision over time. When it came time to choose frames, the optician, Mr. Uhran, spent lots of time helping me pick some out and steering me to ones that made me look good while not breaking the bank. They have a very large selection of frames, and it's a lock that there are lots of options that are right for you and your face. If you need glasses or haven't had your eyes examined in awhile, I highly recommend you hit Park Lane Eye Care. They'll treat you right.

I've seen his primary secretary / office manager fighting with other employees arguing being disrespectful unfortunately it carries over to clients. So now I've moved on there are other options. Why is he a doctor when it's difficult to get an appointment when it's difficult to get information when it's just plain disrespectful. Regrettably it has nothing to do with a doctor.

Not only did Hawley Lane Opticians screw my husband over many years ago when he finally needed…read moreglasses and the optician forgot to fill out one part of a form for the DMV (this caused him a lot of problems)...but they have been rude every time we have contacted them since. When we needed the lenses replaced a few years later, it turned into a whole dramatic ordeal and took weeks when it should have been a quick fix. I recently called them again to ask for my husband's PD because we found glasses online that he liked and we are updating his prescription. They refused to give it out because we aren't buying from them this time. Never use this place. They are a waste of space.

Just an update. RUN…read more‍ RUN away do not use this place. The owner is rude and quickly denied what I needed even before they looked at my file. Literally one year my super expensive glasses broke. Which is actually less than one year because when I received them the prescription was off and I had to have them fix it. So if I am going based off of that it was less than one year. I called to get prescription and they will not provide me with all the details needed to order a new pair online. They refused to assist even with all the money I spent. Run. They push you to spend on unnecessary items. I had to get the lens correct and the $200+ I spent is out the door. Glasses totaled $558 the $200 were to get bifocals I did not need ask them to correct which they are doing but they will not credit the 200 on unnecessary bifocals nit even a store credit. Manager Edward did not care. There site states they take quality in there work but they do not. All they care about is the money you shell out. The eye doctor is good but the that owner of this establishment is not at all professional. I will continue my complaint to BBB and every other social media possible. Economy is hard and people like this makes it harder.

I was very impressed from start to finish. The front end staff were very outgoing, professional,…read moreyet warm. The doctor did not make me feel "pressured" to buy glasses that I didn't need yet.I am at the cusp of needing bifocals. He recommended cheaters (and not from their facility). Also, my coverage did not allow for new frames yet, so instead of saying you can get new lenses (which I had no change) and buy new frames they said wait. So there they proved it wasn't about the money/ it was about helping me save money! Usually when you go into this type of practice there is a feel of buy add on's that wasn't there. Then he was extremely cautious with my daughter. again, he asked me in private about contacts. I said she was a little young and based on her need didn't think we needed to do them yet. So we went with frames. It wiould be differnt if she needed to wear glasses all the time. he was patient and great about explaining what a lazy eye is and how it progresses. etc.. I was very content and happy that she was comfortable. The professional (who has helped me pick out frames before) was very good with my daughter. She is preteen so VANITY is key. May daughter wanted Ray Bans they didn't fit her right, the professional gave her honest opinion and we left with Michael Koros. Also it wasn't to far above my coverage. She did suggest many that fell within my coverage first, which I like that they try to make you not overspend. But then kept it within my budget. Asking me privately what u would like to spend total with everything. I manage a medical facility and you don't get that extra support often. you usu sally get a large bill after the fact and feel terrible. I was really impressed. I would definitely go back.

Family Vision Center in Stratford is lucky that I am giving it a 2 star rating as this office does…read morenot even deserve that. I had an appointment scheduled for early September however I lost my left contact lense this morning and was down to my last pair. I was going to be traveling to west coast and overseas in August and was afraid that if I lose my last pair during these trips I will face significant hardship and will have to wear my eye glasses which I only like to wear at home. Called the office and explained my issue to the scheduling assistant. She instead of trying to help me by squeezing me in for an on an earlier date on a EXCEPTION she would not do so. As a favor to me she was willing to put me on cancelation list and there too I would have to wait for my number. I must also say the scheduler came across as very inflexible and aggressive which most certainly is not the way to service your existing and new patients. if the office policy is to show "zero" flexibility than the office need to revisit the policy. Being an existing patient I was so disappointed that I canceled my appointment with the office for September, and rescheduled it with another eye care facility for next week and that was done on a exception basis to accommodate me. Needless to say it was a very disappointing experience trying to reschedule the appointment. I highly recommend that the scheduling assistant receives additional training in customer service. Not that it matters you lost me as one of your long term patient today.

Dr. Noonan was rude, curt, dismissive and diminishing (there was no bedside manner whatsoever)! I was a new patient and didn't realize that if I wanted an eye exam plus an exam for contacts that I should be wearing my contacts(never had to do this at my last eye doctor) and he pretty much yelled at me for not having them in/with me. He was so short with me throughout the whole visit and I just can't understand why. I really should've just walked out when I noticed his very pronounced rudeness but stayed so that I could at least get a new glasses and contacts prescription. The front office staff were "meh" as I was not impressed by them at all. Though there was one woman who helped sort my insurance out and for that I'm appreciative. While the office is new you can clearly see that some of their systems are antiquated. I'm so used to being emailed or texted or sent a message via an app like "My Chart" by my other doctors' offices that I expected the same from this office. Apparently they couldn't reach me via telephone call in regards to my insurance so I didn't realize I even had an issue until I arrived at my appointment. I can't speak for the other doctor in the practice but Dr. Noonan was horrible and I just can't believe that I could have such a bad experience at an eye doctor of all places. Dr. Noonan treated me as though he could not be bothered with someone like me, as though getting this basic eye exam was asking too much of him. Needless to say I will NEVER step foot into Stratford Eye Care Associates again and they will NEVER see a dime of my money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT RETURN! But perhaps this was the goal and if it was this practice succeeded!
