We ordered the bourbon glazed sweet potato hash with egg and a scone with honey whipped cream and strawberry jam to share for breakfast. I thought everything was good and much better than most other breakfast options in Ruston. My husband said it was "okay" and "not what I expected." He expected the hash to be sweeter and scone to be softer. It was my first scone, so I have no point of reference. The food was prepared quickly. My husband did have to go back to ask for a second set of utensils. The Heard Freighthouse Food Park where Grown and Grazed is located is clean with fun casual vibes and plenty of shaded picnic tables. There is a small restroom and an outdoor sink with dog bowls for those who bring dogs. The location is great, except when trains are passing. read more

We were visiting from CA. I had my eye on this place since Saturday when I stumbled upon it. We had already ate, but I said we're trying this before we leave. Realized Sunday morning it was closed Sunday and Monday. Luckily we were flying out Tuesday. I am SO glad we made it. Best dang biscuit breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I had the bacon cheddar, and the others had the sausage cheddar. The biscuit was on point. A little bit of crunch on the top, had the perfect amount of salt, and perfect overall texture. You also have to try one of their jams to go along with it. I didn't catch his name, but we chatted with the owner quite a bit. Gave me some tips for making biscuits, and gave us some details about what's coming up in the food truck park. If you're a local, stay tuned. Not sure when I'll be back in Ruston, but we will be stopping there again. read more

We almost missed breakfast Cut-Off time trying to get checked out of hotel with the kids. It is located in a collection of food trucks with picnic tables in the middle. We weren't sure what to order because I am not a huge fan of sweet potatoes. My wife loves sweet potatoes so she ordered sweet potato hash with spicy honey and bacon cut up in it and a biscuit with muscadine jam. The kids and I ordered thick cut bacon, over easy eggs, and a biscuit with lemon fig jam. Let me first say that my wife and I are foodies and very picky about breakfast foods because we can often make a better breakfast at home. This was not the case. The biscuits were better than my grandmother's family recipe. The jam was incredible. I ate mine and finished off my wife's as well. I can't decide which was better, they were both amazing! I hesitantly tasted my wife's sweet potato hash and I think I'm a changed man when it comes to sweet potatoes (but only if they taste like that). Our kids who sometimes pick at their food scarfed down every bite. They enjoyed the impromptu morning picnic. It was plenty of food and we left feeling extremely satisfied and so glad we decided to try it. Desi (the owner) was super friendly and provided great customer service. It was fast and fresh and there was not one negative thing about the entire experience, which is hard to find these days. We will undoubtedly be back there another time and to try some of the other options for food trucks that had lines forming as we were leaving. read more

Came all of the way from Monroe for brunch. Got in line at 10:15 with 2 people in front of us. Chef very rudely came out and said if you're in the after these people (lady in front of us), you will not get breakfast. I understand you must cut off somewhere, but very rude way to handle business when you have people in line. We left and went somewhere else. read more

We stopped here for a quick bit! It was kind of chilly so we ordered and sat in the truck to wait for the food and boy was it good! We were told the wait was only about 8-10 minutes and food came right on time.I was skeptical because this was a food truck but all the ingredients were local and fresh! We got a plain cheese burger and the carmalized goat cheese burger with the fresh cut sweet potatoes fries! The burger was perfectly cooked and the goat cheese added an almost slightly sweet flavor that Paired perfect with the caramelized onions. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I've ever had! Perfectly salty/sweet! I highly recommend stopping here for a burger or patty melt and any special they may offer if you are in Ruston! read more

Had breakfast and lunch here. The breakfast hash was fantastic and made with sweet potatoes. Lunch was a burger with candied jalapenos and brie cheese. Dezi was great to talk with as we waited for our order and is very knowledgable about the local area and other food/restaurant locations.
