When I moved out, their return of my deposit was more than fair, compared to anything I was used to with previous rentals. I highly recommend checking with Performance Property Management before any other management company in the Fresno/Clovis area. The gardeners hired were my only problem, as they had a habit of removing the flowers I would purchase and plant and their communication was terrible. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. Application fees are no longer "non-refundable". Look up California Assembly Bill 2493. It is illegal for them to withhold application fees that are not processed when using a first come first serve basis (as opposed to a "best applicant" basis). Be prepared to do a chargeback on the payment method you use. Better yet, don't bother applying here unless you want to deal with the headaches. Wish I would have read the reviews first. If this is how they treat applicants, I can only imagine how they treat tenants. I'm now having to do a chargeback for $100 which could take up 60 days to process.
