Rather than risk another part soon developing a similar problem I had "Sam" replace ALL rollers. I paid $462 for this work. Sam left without running the dryer to show it was fixed. When I next used the unit, squeal was gone but there now exists a Loud thumping sound, as if hitting the cabinet rapidly with your fist. It's loud enough to be heard across the house. I complained, requested repair; Sam returned days later...but rather than just FIX the problem, he spent ~ 30 minutes trying to talk me out of wanting the noise remedied. The machine went unfixed...Sam promising a "warranty". Granted the loud thumping subsides after a few minutes of running but it is NOT normal. If a dryer made that noise on a showroom floor, nobody would buy it. Clearly the noise DOES bother me and I wanted it fixed as soon as I first heard it when service was done in Sept 2025. Instead after paying $462 I got a repairman trying to talk me out of him just fixing the problem. Definitely Unhappy, I curse ATS every time I start that dryer. I'll never hire them again. Beware.

A previous company that I contacted came out and told me what part was needed but then advised me they could not obtain a genuine Samsung part so they would not do the job, yet they still required a $99 trip fee. The owner of Genie Appliance called me back and verified where I could order the aftermarket door part and said he could definitely install it for me, or also said it might be easy for me to install myself. He was friendly and very helpful. Even though I installed the part myself, I will absolutely call Genie Appliance next time I need appliance repair!

I needed a freezer for my garage so I went to FB marketplace and found one. The seller said he'd…read moredeliver it. As it turned out, it was Jaime from Salem Appliance Service and Repair. As a used freezer, he gave me a 30 day guarantee. Well, after about 2 months, the freezer still worked but wasn't freezing things hard, like ice cream, and was collecting a lot of frost, more than normal. So I called Jaime and explained what was going on and needed a different freezer. He didn't have another one so he told me to look online and find one and he'd go pick it up for me at no charge, but I had to pay for the freezer. No problem, I knew the one I got from Jaime was over the guarantee time. After I received the new one, which the seller delivered so Jaime didn't have to go get it, I called Jaime to come and get the old one so I didn't have to pay someone to haul it away. Jaime came to get it and, can you believe it, he offered my money back. I only took 1/2 but damn, that's customer service. Thank you Jaime, you run your business like you're selling to friends or family. I really appreciate how you operate.

He called JL's appliance to see if they would give us a loaner and pick ours up for repair and they agreed. Nobody said anything about a delivery charge but when the washer was fix (or so they say) they expect us (we're in our 60's) to load up their washer, take it to them and get our washer. If a delivery fee was mentioned up front we wouldn't have gotten the loaner. My husband tried tallking to the owner but she was rude and told him they just bought the busiuness and that gas was expensive. I wouldnt' ever buy anything from this compnay again.

He was so friendly, professional and was incredibly reasonably priced! (Just wish I hadn't wasted a few hundred dollars on the previous guys before Appliance Rescue Service who couldn't even fix our machine!) I always refer him to people! I "hope" to never have to see him again ;) but if an appliance of ours goes kaput again, we know who we will be calling.
