I come here to get cabeza burritos any time I am even near Seaside! Theirs is my favorite--so tender, well seasoned. I like it with the verde salsa, and I always buy multiple to take home and eat later! They aren't always open as late as the hours posted here, so it's best to stop in early if you want it for dinner! read more

This is our FAVORITE place to go when we hit the beach. An easy 15 minute drive from Cannon Beach for some of the best tacos you're gonna get. The steak Mexicana is a special treat and they have cabeza which is hard to find. It's cash only. People are going to complain about that, but hey Safeway is right up the street. Sometimes it is empty, but it's a beach town which generally thrives during the summer months. Don't let that deter you from trying their fo The staff are always helpful and we always get extra salsa which is a plus. They are very reasonably priced especially for the combinations. Mexican food at Oregon coastal towns is usually a disappointment, but I was pleasantly surprised here. The place looks, smells, and feels authentic, including that every customer was Mexican/Latin. The bean burrito more than satisfied with just the right balance of gooey cheese. And the Steak Mexicana taco was a cut above the normal carne asada, excellent flavor. Loved the daily special Chile Verde burrito! It was huge & under $6! The spicy hot sauce didn't strike me as spicy but the burrito itself was great. Usually the Mexican food at the coast is ridiculously salty & overpriced so I'm thrilled that this place exists. I also loved that they carry some Mexican candy options. A family was eating with young kids & the kids meals looked like a decent amount of food so I definitely want to bring my kid here soon! Some of the dumb thing people complain about is unbelievable! Friendly? The girl taking the orders was fine ...native English speaker too! Yes, it's cash only ..... if you'd read Yelp before you went, like a good yelper, you'd know that. Prices are very reasonable here. I got a big steak burrito for just $6.00 and it was good! Excellent Carne Asada! I love when you bite into a burrito and you taste a Caramelizing taste on the meat. Great taco shop. The meat is very tasty. Veggies were fresh and they were quick. Served with a smile. Great little find. Only drawback is this burrito I couldn't eat without a fork. Finally got to try this place. They have there hours listed as 11-7 everyday but the first time we went by for lunch on a Saturday and they were closed. The second time I called first to see if they were open for dinner but they said they were closing at 5. They seem focused on lunch. What a great little taqueria! We had initially intended to go to The Stand next door based on reviews, but it was closed(their wifi was still on though!!!). We were pleasantly surprised with the Guadalajara Taco Shop!!! The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was reasonably priced! What else can you ask for in a crazy lil' town like Seaside? My partner had the 3 Taco Special served with rice and beans and I had the day's special, "The Happy Burrito!". The portions were generous and food was tasty! My only complaint(it's a small one) is that I wished I had some tortilla chips to dip in the delicious homemade salsa that was served with our meal. Don't bring cash, because, if you do, you might actually end up eating here. This place is terribly deceiving - the staff are Mexican-looking and don't really speak English so you think you're in for some authentic tacos. But no, everything was remarkably bland and uninteresting. The salsa seemed like it had been watered down, the fish appeared to be diced up fish sticks, chips were from a bag, and basically nothing really seemed fresh or flavorful. Music was a plus though: Biebs, Carly Ray, One Direction and all the other Mexican pop stars you could ask for. I'm not full but the meal was too bland to imagine eating any more. That said, if you do still decide to eat here, you may want to bring your own salsa. Or you could just go to Casa del Sol and save yourself the hassle. read more

This place is a small store, but it is also a taqueria. They sell burritos and tacos in a variety of flavors. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito for $5. The service was good and I got my food in about 7 to 8 minutes. The burrito consisted of a mix of chicken, rice, beans, and onions and came with a side of salsa. The flavor was good especially the salsa, but the tortilla was a little chewy and would have been better if it was fried or grilled a little. The owner was friendly and really helpful. The chicken burrito is pretty tasty, but it's a very basic burrito. It's just chicken, rice and refried beans. I also ordered the pastor burrito Guadalajara style, which meant it was supposed to be covered in cheese and sauce. There was just enough sauce to make it so I couldn't pick up the burrito and eat it normally, but not enough sauce to make the burrito any better. Lots of tasty Mexican places in the area, but these guys make some good tacos. They are my go to if tacos are my plan and I'm at work. They are a lot faster than the other places because they aren't as busy. So don't go there all the time. Damn...maybe I should make this less stars...
