They have a clever system: Before entering, you check in at a computer kiosk outside of the suite by scanning your drivers license and then scanning your insurance card. The computer then matches you up with your appointment record and whatever test was ordered by your doctor. It also notifies the one employee that you have arrived. The phlebotomist who works there is really very nice, quite patient and easygoing, so she puts one at ease. I was the only patient during my late afternoon visit.

Respectfully why is it so hard to get an email? I've emailed documents to the UPS store for labels and it takes 30 seconds tops. She was very condescending. I've been a couple times before this with a normal wait time (20 mins is acceptable) but to wait this long and be treated like that for a very easy accommodation is just absolutely ridiculous. I won't be coming back. I've NEVER been a Karen regarding establishments having worked in the service industry myself but this is just crazy.

One of the women behind the window informed me I needed to sign in using the kiosk and have a seat. I did that, shortly after I was called to the window for my ID and insurance card for copies to be made. Took a seat in the waiting area and within minutes I was told to take a seat in room two. The phlebotomist came in and took my labs. The process was quick and painless. I had a good experience.

Sign in at the kiosk, sit down, go to the desk when your name is called. I had prepaid, so I handed Michele my paperwork. The phlebotomists moved quickly. When I was called, Michele, a woman of many talents, turned out to be a phlebotomist, too. I'm used to getting finger sticks for INR, but a venipuncture was required. I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL THE NEEDLE GO INTO MY VEIN, which Michele found on the first try! Usually, I'm like a pin cushion when others have drawn blood from me. SHE IS GREAT! I got there with my 15 month old son and brought his stroller so he could sit in that while I got my blood drawn. Come to find the elevator was broken for the building and we had to use the stairs. Quick trip back to the car and we walked up the stairs. I checked in and told the front desk lady about the stroller and that I would have to hold him while I got my blood drawn and she said no worries. Upon being called, my sweet lady asked if my son would let another nurse hold him and I said sure! Didn't take more than 10 mins after that to be seen and get my blood drawn. The nurse who drew my blood was also very nice. Something I noticed is the needle they used was a lower gauge (bigger needle) than what I'm used to; it was a little painful while waiting for my blood to drain and left a good sized bruise on my inner arm afterward, but otherwise my experience here was good! Plenty of parking right out front in the shopping area as well.

I spoke with the person working at the front desk and she told me to sign in. They would call me when they needed my information. So I signed in on the tablet and took a seat. After about 5 minutes the person working at the front desk called me up. She took my insurance and Drivers license and made copies of them and then returned them to me. After that I sat down and waited. I waited for about 10 minutes and then a woman called me back. She did an excellent job getting my blood. I didn't feel the needle at all and felt comfortable because she talked with me throughout the process which made it go really fast. Overall it was a good experience. Plenty of parking, very friendly service, and an excellent phlebotomist.

This is the worst healthcare provider service I have ever encountered, even after using diagnostic…read moreservices in some very rural areas and in the busiest Metropolitan areas. maybe one out of 10 service and scheduling reps even listens to your issue, but every center will drop your call after waiting on hold for 10 minutes- and I mean at exactly 10 minutes. Their system is programmed to drop you without any concern when you are waiting on hold for a STAT appt or desperate need. Completely insensitive and unhelpful. Their reports are often blurry and illegible even after requesting originals multiple times. They send faxes with blurry streaks and multiple printer lines and marks making them impossible to read. I immediately called several places in Palm Beach Florida where I had no previous services and was immediately given my choice of appointments even for a Saturday. These clinics had NOT diagnosed the beast and spine cancers that are present so they had no idea of the patients history and they were very accommodating. The pictures below of my numerous calls to ARA that were dropped after exactly 19 minutes were placed on EST when the Austin clinics were still open. I addition, when I explained to at least 5 scheduling reps that ARA had rescheduled the original mammogram where cancer was suspected more than 4 times over the past 11 months, not a single agent offered to take any extra steps for the STAT orders this time. I had no idea that 1:00 really means 12:30. I won't be coming to ARA again if they can't honor their appointments.
