So I went to this place after a few years and An the service and the quality of the pizza has gone down sooooo much. Told the guy I wanted one pie with 3 toppings and he couldn't even get that right. When pizza came out he's Iike it's all for here ? I'm like all ? I just asked for one pie. Dude charged me for 2. Then didn't know how to do a refund so calls his boss. Wtf?! Then didn't even say sorry. Horrible service. The pizza legit had no taste. The prices keep going up and the quality keeps going down. It used to be 5.75. Guallpa's pizza store is located in a strip mall of sorts, right off of Oak Tree Rd. in Iselin. The strip mall is very busy, so finding parking here, even in the big parking area, can prove to be a bit of a pain, during busy times. As stated in other Yelper's reviews, they specialize in personal pan pizzas. There are many different combos with different toppings available. I chose the onions and peppers combo, for my personal pan. It was pretty quick to come out, from start to finish. The size of the personal pan, was a good size. It wasn't too big that I couldn't finish, and it wasn't too small that I was hungry after eating it. The toppings/veggies were fresh and the crust had a nice crisp to it. I usually end up getting a jalapeño pie. Don't be fooled - this isn't your standard jalapeño pie from a franchise pizza place. This contains a high level of spice and I would only recommend it if you have a tolerance for it. Their sausage pie is another favorite of mine. I always take advantage of their 'buy two pizzas, get one plain free' deal since I usually end up ordering for my family. All in all, this is a great pizza place. Their pies are crisp and so yummy. Always loved this place. I feel like this place is so much better than Singa's Pizza. Even my grandmothers loved the pizza here and they don't even eat pizza. But after a few bites, they managed to polish half a pie which is huge for grandparents. I wish they would open up a chain or a second store in new brunswick or kendall park area! They have many different toppings u can get. They also have a special every day buy 2 topping pies and get 1 plain free. Very good pizza. Did not expect this place to be busy, but it was acutally hopping on the weekend. They have many types of pizza you can get. I just got a personal pizza with pepperoni and fresh garlic on them. I threw in some oregano, crushed red peppers, and a dab of garlic powder to finish it off. It was fresh and very good. Ingredients seem to be high quality. Staff are very nice too. My girl had a personal pizza with spinach and lettuce on top of it. She enjoyed it. There was only 1 empty bottle of red pepper flakes for the whole dining room and food preparation took very long. Pizzas were OK for my taste. The reason behind it was there was no oregano nor chilli flakes in any of the tables. So it was pretty mild. The female staff is very rude. Also she is deaf so just say loudly whatever you want to order. I went with my husband and on asking twice for the chilli flakes, she said she will bring us but she just ignored till we finished our pizzas somehow. The chicken platter is the worst. Unseasoned dry super pale chicken on top of a salad that filled up the whole container. The falafel in the falafel are dry and hard.
