Pasteles galore here folks, come and get em. We tried a variety and nothing was a disappointment. Their cake selection was also gorgeous if you are in the market. Or just having a rough day. Seriously just come get some dulces. Service was chill - grab a tray and try not to fill it too high. Pastries are $1-2 so it's easy to go wild.

Hidden gem I saw on T.T..... so glad I tried out this bakery! Their items are really delicious! I tried several types and flavors and every single one was tasty! They are also super huge- Texas size and at a great price for what you get! Lots of flavor combinations and choices! There must have been at least 50 different choices. They also have lots of cakes in the fridge ready to go! Staff was friendly and helpful for my first visit. When you enter, get a silver pan and some tongs, then load up on the treats. Take your pan to the register and they will box them up for you. It's a nice set up inside and the sweet pastry smell makes you want to buy more! Next, I'll have to return and try the Strawberry puff croissant! Highly recommended!

Honestly, this bakery never disappoints. It's probably my fifth visit, and both my mom and I still love it just as much. The bread tastes authentic, fresh, and the prices are almost too good to be true -- each piece going for just cents. We came about half an hour before closing, so the selection was a little thin, but still worth it. It's a grab-your-own-bread setup, but the staff are always friendly and quick to help if you need something. The vibe is warm and cozy, and even with a long line, it moves fast -- and honestly, being surrounded by that much bread is its own kind of joy.

My wife wanted a tres leches cake for her birthday and after some research I found Gunanajuato Bakery. This place is unreal. I couldn't help but grab a variety of items after walking in on top of the cake. Highly recommend. Hope to be back sooner rather than later.

OMG the pecan pie is amazing. I went to grab something else and saw this. I love it. They had door greeters today opening the door which was a nice touch. The bakery smelled amazing with fresh bread everywhere. Thank you!!!

Parking is LIMITED.. you may have to park on the side of the road. When you walk in you grab a platter and tongs. Variety of great pastries, also they have cakes! Also you can place a custom order for cakes! The service was fast as there is a line to pay. The environment is very clean and including where bread is located. Definitely will be back.

Guanajuato Bakery is the Mexican bakery in this part of Fort Worth and it serves the community well. The bread, pastry, and cookie selection is thorough, plus it's complimented by many cakes. When you walk in, you'll grab a large metal tray and tongs to grab any items you'd like. Then you wait in line with it all where you return your tray and tongs as you pay. Prices are very reasonable. Expect possible homeless around the area, and know the parking lot is small but there is a larger lot in the back. Free street parking also exists. Staff speaks English and Spanish.

The bread is great! It's also a beautiful shop! Sadly the last time I went a worker named Viviana Mata helped us out but she packed all of our bread in one single bag and we had a lot so by the time we got home the conchas at the bottom were squished. She then deleted our order the first time (must've been an accident), had to re type it and tried to up charge us for her mistake.

12/30/2020 Wednesday 9:15 am. The good: the place is clean and bright. The bad: the cocha and maranito were bland. How does that happen?!! The concha was not soft. The ugly: why do they have a place to stand in line if folks just walk up and the person waiting in line to Pat are ignored. Slowwwww service. Skip the visit this place, looks are deceiving.

I love a great patisserie and I'm not even gonna apologize that flaky, buttery, jammy, sugar dusted, chocolate-covered pastries give me more delight than I can express! Guanajuato Bakery on Belknap in Riverside is possibly the BEST kept secret near downtown Fort Worth! I asked hubby to make a pitstop for me on the way to a client shoot a few weeks back just wanting to pick up some basic goodies for all the talent coming to set that day... only to walk into a land of the biggest flakiest croissants, perfectly cloudy-like donuts, savory kolaches, conchas and more! I cannot say more good things about this bakery and I'm so glad it's close to home because I need more!

Amazing bakery! My daughter has been wanting tres leches cake so I did a google search and Guanajuato popped up. It had such great reviews, I knew we had to check it out. The bakery itself is located in a bit so great area but hey... I think that's where a lot of the great restaurants usually are. Parking is also limited. The bakery is clean and large. There is no seating. It's grab and go. It's similar to 85 Degrees where you grab a tray and tongs, grab what you want and pay. They have probably have every Hispanic bakery item you could ever want and more. They also had tres leches by the slice. I didn't get a chance to get a picture of the cake before my daughter devoured it. There were so many mouth watering options I had to stop myself from the urge to grab one of everything. My daughter and I grabbed the items we just had to have and vowed we would come back to try more another time. She said the tres leches was delicious and made me promise I would order her a whole cake next time. Definitely going back.

There are a million things you have to plan and worry about going awry on your wedding day and this was the one component that was just perfect. From ordering, asking questions, and pickup to cutting and eating - the process working with Hanna was seamless and comfortable. The cake itself was to die for. We went with an almond cake, blackberry filling and cream cheese frosting. This combination was insane! The cake was buttery, flavorful, nutty, nuanced and so rich and delicate. The filling was fresh, sweet, tart, and bright. The frostings were creamy, melt in your mouth goodness. The sweetness was so balanced that no one had a problem inhaling their slice. Might I say - this cake was even better the next day when I had time to myself and my now husband :) to sit down and enjoy a leftover slice with some hot tea. It was just such a memorable part of our entire weekend. Not that I even have to disclose but, obviously, the cake was gorgeous. I was absolutely hesitant to slice and ruin any of this incredibly detailed piping and decor but it cut like butter and tasted just as good as it looked. It was truly a perfect cake and you need one for your next event.

Truly an experience found easily on W. Victory Blvd. in Fort Worth, the Swiss pastry shop is unique. There is something for everyone to be found here from cookies to amazing pies and cheesecake slathered with cherry topping. Helper chose cherry pop over. The pastry was not as normally expected flaky, it was a beautiful delicious bite, filled with cherry filling, nearly like a jelly filled doughnut. The greatest compliment I can pay a pastry shop is that I might go in for one bear claw and come out satisfied. Today we went in for oatmeal cookies and came out with two boxes because we couldn't decide which one we wanted more. I just see from the attached photos. We came out with two boxes one filled with cookies and one filled with pastries because one box was not going to be enough. We are not a family of eight, so we're going to have to fill ourselves up or find some really sweet friends to share with soon. You will not be disappointed, and we saw they also are offering coffee. We had ours brewing at home so we continued on our drive. Give them a try if you have not there are gluten-free options available as well. Last I forget, the service was exceptional worthy of 5+ stars and the ambience is smells as delicious as it looks, and lots of smiles all around, especially from the patrons

I usually get the keto bread. It tastes like regular bread, but the texture is a little softer, moisturer, and more crumbly than whole wheat bread. The texture is not odd at all, just different. My hubby even likes this bread. It makes great sammies and perfect toast. When I walked into the store, there were lots of treat samples at the front counter. The nice young lady working that afternoon didn't even bat an eye as I taste tested almost all of those samples. LOL! I ended up also getting a slice of the "COW" (cake of the week). That week, the COW was candy bar cake. It was a wonderful well balanced treat. I find that I can't tell that their cakes, cookies, pies, and many other items are actually gluten free. They are simply delish! This bakery attracts even avid gluten eaters because you can tell a lot of care and quality ingredients go into their goods. That is the telltale mark of any good bakery. This place is in a small strip mall. There is adequate parking and I've never had to street park unless it's holiday season. I enjoy having such a tasty place to give my body a break from gluten.
