    Fresh concha's

Oh the conchas are super fresh! They are a little pricey at $1.10 each and they charge you for using your debit card but other than that real good/fresh bread.

During my recent trip to DFW, we were in this area in the morning, so I did a search for a bakery. This one seemed to have a huge selection, so it was out destination. It was amazing to see the entire wall case full of pastries! This is a Mexican pastry shop, so no really any pastilitos, but so many other choices. Apple turnovers, pound cake mini loafs, cheesecake slices, giant butter cookie sandwiches, crescent shaped rolls filled with cream cheese, muffins, danishes, etc. Of course, the kind lady had to explain to us what each of the items were. She was so patient! The most amazing thing was their prices! Every item was about a dollar each. This wouldn't be in Florida. My entire bag was less than $5.... wow. We took our treats to a coffee shop where we sat down and enjoyed our lazy morning.

Fresh and tasty! Reminded me of home. I was pleasantly surprised the amount of options and how clean the bakery was. This will be my go to for authentic Mexican pan dulce.

Im from Tucson, AZ and lived here in Fort Worth for almost a year.. This is the 1st place i've been that serves real Mexican food. The tacos are amazing! Friendly staff and Real Mexican food not Tex Mex!

This location sells hot meals in addition to the several bakery cases of pan dulce (Mexican pastries). You can also order cakes. I've tried a bunch of the pastries and they're pretty much all delicious! They're super cheap too. You can get like 10 pastries for just a few dollars. Our favorite thing is the breakfast burritos, though. I always get the bacon & egg burrito with a slather of refried beans (makes it creamy and delicious!). The prices are very reasonable and they are cheaper than the Arlington location. Keep in mind that most/all of the staff speaks Spanish. However, you don't need too much verbal communication to buy the pastries, and I think anyone who can read can manage ordering the hot food even without knowing Spanish. Try it!

There are also a lot of Mochi donuts and cookies to choose from in the glass case. Arrive early to ensure all baked goods are still available. They sell out quickly. The shop is adorably kitschy. The loud vibrant colors aren't overshadowed by the loud vibrant music. LOL! It is a cute place to hang out for a bit. It's more of an energy recharge than chill spot. The Nutella Biscoff cookie was good, not great, but good. It was surprisingly not too sweet and a nice mid day dessert. There is plenty of parking as this place is located in the Montgomery Plaza shopping center. I will come back to try some more drinks and a donut.

We were getting a drink after lunch, I got their milk tea and added black boba, my husband got a lemonade and our kid got a s'mores cookie. They have a plethora of drink options and quite a few cookie and donut options as well. We originally had an issue with the cookie that we bought, but we discovered it while we were still in the store and the staff quickly addressed it and replaced the cookie. They have a shared parking lot. So you may have to walk a little ways and they are conveniently located around a lot of different stores. We would definitely stop back by when we are in the area.

The Hubby and I were on date night continuing our "Eating the Alphabet" around the DFW area (check…read moreus out on YouTube: HowWeDoHWD), and even though it was chilly outside, we couldn't resist stopping by Melt on Magnolia in Fort Worth. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, sunshine-filled space that smelled absolutely divine--fresh, homemade waffle cones baking and filling the room with happiness. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and even offered samples (yes please!), which made choosing a flavor both fun and deliciously difficult. After a few tastes, I landed on Sweet Cream and Cookie Crush--and wow. The sweet cream was classic and comforting, instantly reminding me of my grandmother's homemade ice cream. The cookie crush brought bold flavor: rich, house-made dark chocolate cookies folded into salty vanilla ice cream. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent. Pros: Warm and happy aesthetic, heavenly cone smells, and super friendly staff. Cons: The inside is a bit small with limited seating--but during warmer days, the outdoor patio offers plenty of space to enjoy your scoop. I will absolutely be returning to Melt. It's cozy, nostalgic, and full of flavor--definitely worth the stop, no matter the weather.
