Salsa bar decent Ordered 3 Red Tacos w Consommé to go. Meat portions are stingy for the price $17.45 = $5.80 each. Total rip off . Niche meat very small portion. I complained about the small portion and they say they use a scoop and all the scoops are the same size, but they must not pack it down because it's probably full of air because the birria meat had more meat, not substantially because it was still very unfilled empty taco shells, probably cause it's cheaper. Consume was watery bland, and zero flavor why bother. This place had such good reviews, but in my opinion, it's not even worth it for the same price I paid and the food I got I would've been more satisfied with a lot more better tasting food at something like a tacō běll. I complained about meat portion not worth price. They refused to adjust portion. Told them I'm going to give harsh review about tell the truth about their high prices and small portions and post pics so people can see what a rip off they are. They ignored me. Place is small clean and filled with only single guys on their blue-collar job lunch hour. They must've been hungry and didn't care about paying up for lousy bland food. Let me say this first, the food is good. I've had it delivered several times and it and the food is yummy..... but...... almost every order is incorrect. So much so that we wonder what will be wrong while awaiting the delivery. We used to order from here a lot more but we got tired of the orders being wrong and haven't ordered there in weeks until today. Today's failure. Loved this place so much that we visited two days in a row. The restaurant is located in a small plaza with a parking lot. The first time we came around lunch and the second time we came around dinner. Be prepared to wait a bit for you food at dinnertime because it can get busy but it's totally worth it. There are a few seats inside, self serve salsa bar, and a sink to wash your hands. We tried the street tacos, red tacos, and red quesadilla. I highly recommend the red tacos and red quesadilla! It was sooo good. The portions are huge! The food is more on the expensive side but I would say worth it for the portions you get. The birria and lengua were my favorite meats. This place is in a strip mall so it's pretty easy to find parking. They have an extensive menu, many different types of tacos and meat options. They also have red and green salsa which you can scoop yourself into portion control containers. The tacos typically come with some onions and lime on the side and also radish slices. The food was very tasty and I enjoyed it very much. The server was friendly and we got our food quickly. The interior is brightly lit, and there are only a handful of tables. I love a good taco restaurant and Guanatos tacos has excellent food. I tried the Red Quesadillas and my buddy tried the regular quesadillas ( both have birria). I have to say they were both outstanding, however, the nod goes to the "Red ". The Red sauce just adds so much more flavor. They give you big portions and you will leave very full. There are many choices on the menu and drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The seating area is limited, so get there early before the lunch crowd. This place fills up and so does the Parking. It's in a strip mall with other businesses, so first come first served. The food is great, but a little pricy ( the reason for the 4 stars and not 5). Love everything I've ever gotten from here, all of the food is so good. The biggest thing I notice about them is the meat is actually marinated and tastes flavorful, the carne asada is lime-y and delicious. Most places just give you unseasoned unmarinated char carne asada (if it marinated you definitely can't tell) here, that's not the case, the meat is very flavorful. I wanted to specifically leave a review not just for the food and the quality but specifically for one worker who is always amazing, Ernesto. He's always working when I'm here and finally got a look at his name tag to shout him out. He's always in a great mood and so happy, which honestly is so nice. They ALWAYS pack the order wrong - either something is missing or not the correct order. I have had to return the food and they do anything for the inconvenience. Came here for Taco Tuesday and I have to say, I was satisfied. We ordered al pastor, chorizo and chicken. Both the Al pastor and chicken were tender and flavorful. My favorite though was the chorizo. There is inside seating only, tables and chairs for about 20 and light music in the background. The food took about 20 minutes to prepare. The birria was good as well as the shrimp. There were customers that came in after me, ordered more/intricate items (ie bierra ramen) that was coming out faster. Why? Because they forgot to make it. To top it all off. They were pretty good. I think I was under the impression that they would be crunchy so I was taking back a little when they weren't but overall they were pretty tasty tacos. The consume was really delicious. I like that they are it already have cebolla and cilantro. I thought this was a great place to go try something new. They do have a huge menu of if birria is not your thing they have other items. The restaurant itself is pretty clean just a bit small. As far as the service the person that assisted me was a really nice guy. Unfortunately, most Mexican restaurants don't understand that there are folks that cannot eat cilantro. I ordered a carne asada burrito, no cilantro, and I ended up with a mushy blob if rice (mostly), beans & very little meat. The few pieces of meat I did pick out were tasty.
