Now here's the real deal this is one of the only two true remaking hand rolled cigar shops in little Havana. I came unfortunately just as a bus tour arrived so I didn't get the full experience of the inside but the owner was super nice, the prices are excellent as well as the cigars. If it wasn't packed I'm sure it's a great place to hang out and have a coffee, drink, and a fantastic cigar. I bought 7 to go a $10 a piece that's a bargain plus another to stay but I sat outside which is comfortable as well. The owner has his hands full he handles the humidor and sales of the cigars. He's great as his job and excellent with customer service. I can't wait to go back. read more

As a business owner my self is sad and difficult for me to write a negative review about a local businesses in my beloved city, but in this case I have to share my negative experience with an ANGRY BLONDE WOMAN inside of this venue ( I waited 5 days to cool off ) because that ANGRY BLONDE WOMAN ( that says is the owner ) is a walking liability for this business PERIOD. We had a horrible experience last week, we order food and drinks ( which I paid in advance because we just wanted to check the place out before going to Ball & CHAIN ) we got up to dance for 1 song and when we came back to the table they picked everything up, ( black label... mojito... mariquitas and masitas de puerco ) when we asked waitress she said she didn't know why they picked up the items, but the worst EXPERIENCE was the way a BLONDE WOMAN ( that identifies her self as THE SOLE owner and manager ) started to yelled at me and gave us the WORST ATTITUDE by YELLING AT ME LIKE IF I WAS HER HUSBAND OR HER SON this was THE WORST encounter I have ever experience with a venue in 8st ( or with a business owner in my 23 years as an entrepreneur ) the gentleman with white hair and more business oriented ( that also identified himself as the owner and as JOSE ) apologized for the bad experience he was more DECENT and looked embarrassed by the attitude of the ANGRY WOMAN that she was still displaying when he was apologizing he even told her to get out. We had a very bad experience 100% I will not recommended this venue at all, whenever that ANGRY BLONDE WOMAN leaves I may remove this review and give them a second chance thus far even the City and the State should look at this type of dangerous behavior by the owner of a PRIVATE BUSINESS in a very public and historical streets of my beloved city Miami. read more

While taking a self guided tour around Little Havana we stumbled upon this cigar shop. As my husband walked in with an espresso the owner proclaimed that after sampling his espresso at Guantanamera that my husband would get rid of the expresso he purchased from a local cafe shop. As he made espressos for us all and while we enjoyed the sample he gave us all a brief history of the shop his passion for making coffee and cigars. The espresso was magnificent. The owner was very hospitable and was willing to throw in some extras with the purchases we made.  I will definitely visit the store again while in Miami!! read more

When I first came here I didn't know I would be introduced to my new favorite whiskey. The service gave great suggestions. Music both live as well as DJ hosted. What a magical little place!!! During the Calle 8 Festival this place had an amazing live band playing inside. When we approached the entrance we were told that we would need to order mojitos to get in. We agreed and went on in. The band was full of energy and played all of the classics. We immediately ordered drinks and started dancing. The other guests were so sweet and when a table opened up we swooped it. Turns out we got there just in time. About thirty minutes after we got in it started pouring down rain. The storm eventually knocked out the lights on the whole block and the band kept playing and we kept dancing. We ordered mojitos, agua de coco, and we tried to order food but they ran out. We smoked cigars and danced the day away. We had an amazing time and would love to return on a day they are playing live music! read more

Little Havana has always been one of my favorite spots in Miami. Good food, drink and cigars! Stopped in on Thursday and was greeted by Armi who was friendly and knowledgeable. After spending time and getting some great cigars, he let me know that Friday was festival night and that they'd have a live band. Came in with intentions of staying about an hour and left 5 hours later. Fantastic band , atmosphere, reasonable drink prices, great cigars and more! The hospitality from owner Jose and his beautiful wife, right through the staff was top notch and family like. Can't say enough about this place. Disclaimer: I'm not the biggest fan of the house brand cigar. That's almost entirely a taste issue and not quality. I prefer darker, maduro cigars with some age on them. I figured I'd try one since I got to watch the Torcedor rolling them outside. The owner was very polite and helpful even though they were closing up. We were hoping to have a coffee with our smokes so he whipped up a couple Cuban coffees for us to have while they closed up. He and the rest of the staff worked right around us without missing a step. Normally I would feel bad making myself at home when people are closing up, but he assured us it was okay to do. No question I would score them high on coffee, service, and decor. They also carry some great cigars here in a well maintained walk-in humidor. Arturo Fuentes, Romeo Y Julieta, & Cohiba in varying types & sizes. Overall a great experience for someone who hasn't smoked cigars in nearly a decade. read more

The visitors center pointed out this place to us since we asked for the best Cuban coffee. We went in and this place is strictly a cigar store: they do sell some coffee as well. They had an espresso maker and they were happy to serve us a cup of coffee. I haven't had Cuban coffee before and it was a good experience. The coffee is strong and sweet. They put sugar in it...which I didn't know. We also got to meet the owner...very nice guy and he takes the time to talk to his customers: We didn't buy any cigars but would definitely buy some from them just from their friendly service. read more

Would love to be there when live music is playing. The server was a tall dark handsome knowledgeable cigar enthusiast who made us feel like we were old friends visiting his house. They have nice flavored cigarillos (vanilla, chocolate, rum-I chose vanilla) so I didn't feel left out. Racial profanities were being shouted to the manager of the store and these group of people were served and have actually been to the store multiple times. I was fortunate enough to spend an entire afternoon smoking a cigar and having Jorge's special Mojitos surrounded by great old friends as well as met some new ones. The owners were very classy yet humble and courteous. Reflecting later that evening and realizing I spent several hours there doing absolutely nothing and enjoyed every minute of it. Has a great time. Met their walking advertising guy at the park & he gave us a tour of the block. He showed us the art gallery then took us to this cafe/cigar shop. I visited Guantanamera Cafe and Lounge on July 5th with my wife and daughter. To the point, I had one of the best times of my life. Prior to this, I stopped at another cigar lounge/bar nearby, and someone there tried ripping me off when trying to buy a cigar. Then the Cuba Libre that was brought to me was extremely watered down. I also didn't like the vibe of the place so I left and went inside Guantanamera. I was immediately welcome by one of the waitresses, a young woman with blond hair and whose name I can't remember. But from the time I walked inside until I left for the night, I felt very welcome. The mojitos were awesome, the cigars tasty, and the band very lively. I danced all night with my wife and daughter, and even got pulled into a dance contest. And I won it, ha-ha! Well, I guess all those ballroom dance lessons paid off, as well as having a Cubana for a wife! We will definitely come back to Guantanamera the next time we're in Miami. Note: be advised that the drinks come with an 18% gratuity already. I didn't notice that and added more tips. Well, even if I knew the 18% tips was already added, I would have added more, because our waitress took very good care of us. Gracias para todo! read more
