This place has really declined since the owners sold it two seasons ago. The subtle touches that the old owners must have implemented made a significant difference. There aren't enough staff to keep things moving quickly, and they frequently run out of bagels. The staff they do have are very friendly. Prices have increased, which is understandable due to inflation. However, they've added a tip request on the credit card machine that requires multiple steps to bypass, even for something as simple as buying a T-shirt. While I don't mind tipping for services, it should be a choice made on a case-by-case basis. We enjoyed our bageleddis bagels both times we visited while on vacation. It's definitely pricey, though, and they don't display prices on their signs which is annoying. We got 2 bagel sandwiches and 14 bagels and it was over $40. Great BEC though. read more

One in a long line of bagel places who can't handle toasting the bagels! I thought we had liked Bageleddi's when we went there last year. Maybe it was just because everything else was closed last year when we were here, because this year we were not impressed. It was fine, but the bagel being untoasted, the contents of the sandwich slid out with every bite and had to be readjusted. It was annoying. They were also out of Splenda and when my husband asked one of the employees if they had more, he was kind of a jerk. Bottom line - it's fine if you're desperate, but there are better places on the island for bagels. read more

We have gone to Bageleddis multiple times over the summer already. There are always tons of people standing around waiting for their orders. The people that work in the store are all very nice and helpful. The way the shop is set up now is kind of confusing. You can't tell who is in line to order and who is waiting for their food to come out. I'be ordered the iced coffee a few times recently here and I add flavoring to it. The iced coffee is $5 after adding a flavor, which is reasonable. I also normally order a plain bagel with cream cheese and it's almost $5, which is pretty pricey for just a standard bagel. The last 2 times we have been in the past couple of weeks we ordered breakfast sandwiches and the wait was over 30 minutes after we ordered to get them. The bagels and sandwiches are good, but not worth waiting 30 minutes for. Unfortunately, we probably won't be coming back as often due to the wait times. read more

Bageleddi's is one of a few bagel spots on Long Beach Island. They have vegan butter (but no vegan cream cheese). We got a couple bagels with vegan butter and enjoyed them. The bagels cost $1 each and butter is $1.50, so expect to shell out at least $2.50 for a bagel (which is still a good price). The coffee here is decent, but not great. It would be awesome if they started offering vegan cheese, bacon and egg in addition to the vegan butter. read more

This is definitely the place! The owners are genuinely hospitable and gracious; their staff is attentive and personable and the service is excellent. The bagels are amazing. They are so fresh and delicious. I had an everything bagel and unlike most places, the toppings were not only on the top of the bagel, but they were also on the bottom. Perhaps the best bagel I have ever had. And at my age, that is saying a lot! My husband had a breakfast sandwich and just loved it. Coffee was piping hot and freshly brewed. Bageleddi's an impressive bagel bakery. I was fascinated watching them pull them out of the pot, apply the toppings, and put them in the massive oven. What a production! This place has tons of varieties. Shoppe is modern and clean inside. People moving through the line. The bagels here are more crisp on the outside, compared to the other well known bakery in beach haven. Not gooey. Salt ratio was good on the "everything". Had a very bad experience here. How is the restaurant in business with no menus and no pricing? I only went in since Beyond Bagels was closed. I asked for what it costs for coffee and certain bagel sandwiches and the owner couldn't tell me. He said price of supplies always change and they never provide pricing or menus. Pros: Super cute bagel shop with homemade cream cheese. Bagels come out warm. Typical lines for a bagel store. Cons: Cash only which doesn't fit the modern look of the bagel shop. I wish they had put the cash only sign at the beginning of the line instead of where you order as we had already waited in line to order. When we got to our drinks after we paid they were out of decaf so if you're looking for something specific make sure they have it before you order or if they can prep while you're waiting in line. It is definitely a buzzy atmosphere and I completely forgot to order one of my bagels or I ordered it and didn't get it. I don't even remember. Two knocks on this place- it's 2021 you should have a dairy alternative for coffee and you don't toast bagels after applying the cream cheese. It makes the cream cheese softer and runny like mayonnaise. That being said it may be your best option for bagels on the island as it's slim pickins over here. There are a lot of bagel options but not as much cream cheese options. The ham, egg, and cheese my boyfriend ordered had an over cooked egg. read more

The bagels were good/decent. They are pretty small compared to most bagel places I've been to even if they are boiled and made in house they could spare to make the bagels at least a bit bigger. The staff of younger kids working were nice. When I had to deal with (what appeared to be a manager or possible owner) I was met with complete rudeness which Im not one to complain much about because I come in contact w rude ppl all the time doesnt really phase me. Stopped in the Saturday of Chowderfest knowing it was probably the last weekend they'd be open. I heard there were new owners and wanted to check them out. In a nutshell... no better than last owners. First off, for me it's a red flag when I see menus posted on the walls, but no prices. I walked in, stood in front of the counter without being acknowledged. There were 2 guys behind the counter checking coffee, doing their morning setup etc., I was standing at the wrong counter but neither of them said anything. I finally asked is this where I order? They then said no over there. Ok, I walked to the other counter. The man in front of me had a big order to place, I patiently waited. The girl behind the counter (Katrina was the name on the receipt I received) then picked up the phone and took a large phone order. While taking the phone order, she was making faces and losing her patience with whoever was on the phone. She asked the person on the phone for a name for the order. She asked again for a name for the order this time with hand motions and an eye roll, as if she was being put out by the person on the other end of the phone. She might have asked a third time, I'm not sure, I just know that She then hung up on the person. I looked at her as if what the heck and she said, "she hung up on me." She then went on to tell anyone that would listen to her that the person on the phone hung up on her. Why would the woman give her entire order then hang up when asked for a name for the order? The phone rang again and she didn't pick up. I've been in the food industry a long time. This was pretty rough to see. I knew that woman placing the order on the phone would come in to pick up her large order and nobody would know what she's talking about, (except the girl behind the register.) The woman placing the order thought she was doing the right thing by calling ahead, only to find they didn't make it for her because the girl behind the register can't deal with people. She has a house full of hungry people waiting for breakfast and now has to stand around and wait another 40 minutes for her order to be made? Not acceptable at all. I know that hiring and service took a hit after covid but this is just ridiculous. Being nice to a customer should be a given, common courtesy should be a given, not taking your bad attitude out on a customer should be a given. Epic fail today and I won't be back. P.s. 4 or 5 stars for the excellent coffee (latte actually - so good) and bagels/spreads but really weird and not-so-good service by a clueless staff. tasty white-meat chicken salad and decent egg salad, too. My parents have been regulars for years. Today was my first time in the new location. The wait was ridiculous, and hanging around watching food prep gave me the chance to witness what is probably the worst display of unsanitary conditions I've seen inside a deli in a long time. NONE of the people preparing food were wearing gloves. I witnessed employees answer phones, take digital orders (or something on what looked like an iPad), and then return to food prep without hand washing. The ultimate was when an employee pulled a full trash bin from under the counter, toss something inside, then slice a bagel open without batting an eye. This was all in full view of a packed store. This is beyond unacceptable--and how can they even pretend to offer gluten-free products if everything is being handled and prepared by the same hands on the same surfaces? read more

I choose to go here because they gave gluten free bagels. I waited about a half hour. Paid $3.75 for one bagel and it was the size of a mini bagel and had about a drop of cream cheese on it. Very disappointing. Try other bagel places for your gluten free needs. Bacon was barely even cooked and we threw it out as soon as we got home. I called and complained and all she said was "I'll let them know". Never going back here read more
