I visited this restaurant twice in one week. The food is delicious, the venue is very clean and has a beautiful ambiance. Music is played and not too loud so you are able to talk with anyone you're visiting with .

This place actually surprised. I went here for a friend's birthday and enjoyed the experience. I usually had negative experiences with the food for places that place an emphasis on having photo walls but the food here was actually really good. They gave a really good portion size as well. The drinks were strong but not really there taste wise. The servers were are nice and attended to us all night. Then the vibe there was also good too. They had a bartender there singing on the mic along with the songs but it wasn't that obnoxious singing you hear at some places. I would def recommend trying if you are looking for a lowkey spot in the neighborhood.

We didn't make reservations and just walked in since it was a Wednesday night. It was a nice atmosphere with the layout of the place that was decorated vibrantly. There's plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. There are televisions by the bar playing different channels, so if you want anything in particular, just let them know. Service wise, there was one lady doing everything, and she was managing it very well. We gave her a nice tip bc of her hard work. Food wise, I did enjoy the guacamole with plantain and yucca chips. I enjoyed it a lot and finished the chips, plus the waitress was nice enough to bring out more since we had extra guacamole for no charge. I had the Pulpo a la parrilla since I wanted something light and not so heavy to eat. It was good. Last but not least, I had the three leches de mango cake. That was just alright, but the other two dishes were great. They have a happy hour menu, which gives you a better deal for the buck. For brunch, there's an ayc drink. I suggest if you want different types or crowds to try those out. .

Stopped by without a reservation and was able to be seated quickly. Party of 4. The food and drinks were delicious! Definitely Latin fusion - there's Puerto Rican, Colombian, Peruvian food. Appetizers - the croquettas with oxtail, amazing! A highlight. Main- all the dishes were delicious and savory. Good portions. Dessert- the tres leches was disappointing. The cake was grainy I'm not sure why. Despite that everything else was great. Service was attentive and kind.

10/29/23: Looking for food drinks, food and vibes this is the place. OMG..one of the best passionfruit margarita I've had. People can I say how my tastebuds were rocked with this TRIFONGO seafood dish. Sweet Plantain green plantain and yuca all together.pure deliciousness. Multitude of food was consumed. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Waitstaff was on point , friendly knowledgeable and pleasant. Also DJ on premise..aka sweet elderly gentlemen streaming music. He tell me anything I want to hear just ask him..lol Definitely looking forward on returning.

We were in the area around 5pm looking for a good happy hour. My boyfriend found this place, HH looked great, so we popped in! We wanted some food (there were HH food options, available for bar seating only) so he sat at the bar. We promptly ordered the red and white sangrias for $7 each, along with the Alcapurias and Chicharrons de Pollo for $10 each. He's Puerto Rican, so I let him order. Everything was delicious! Very hot, very fresh, including the drinks. The Chicharrones de Pollo fell off the bone better than any chicken wing I've had. I'm not sure what the cut of meat was but whew, so good. The Alcapurias were stuffed full of meat and came with a delicious jalapeno ranch-like sauce, as did the chicken, although it wasn't needed for the latter. We're looking forward to coming back for more food! Major plus: we were gunna go to a bar to watch some soccer after, but they had the games on here. Great to know for future reference! A quick final note - we were charged a 3% non-cash fee on our final bill, which wasn't reflected on any of the menus as mandated by the NY state law. It was only noted on the bottom of our receipt, and "cash" means debit as well, according to the state. Disappointed we were still charged extra even though we paid debit.

My 2nd time coming here, but it's been a few years. I was a little disappointed they changed the decor with the coqui and big PR flag, but it's still pretty. Attentive service, large portions and good music. Didn't like that they have a photographer walked around. It isn't a theme park or a touristy spot like Margaritaville.

I loved coming here for some of their delicious food, specially I had gotten their pernil which was bomb! I know they have a live DJ on the weekends which I'm so excited to come and see! The service was spectacular and well as the interior

Authentic Puerto Rican food on the Northside. Delicious! The brunch is great too! My husband had the shrimp asopao and I had the shrimp in garlic butter sauce.

Great place to take a special someone. Parking is sketchy but her ,,, it's Brooklyn lol. The minute I walked in all my receptors were going off the house walk to the end, and we had a choice of sitting upstairs or downstairs. I chose up because I wanted to look down and be nosy lol. We had red sangria, which was delicious and it hit the spot. After that we ordered the Empanadas, & pork guacamole, big chunks of pork if you're into pork definitely recommended thinly sliced fried plantain chips to dip then we ordered our entrée. I had the miso glaze salmon Churrasco steak, which was delicious. The tip is included, so make sure you don't re-tip and the service was quick and the food was delicious. I'm definitely gonna go back.

Just stopped in for a quick app and some drinks for happy hour. Had the white sangria and I must say.... Whoa super strong. Loved them. Definitely would come back for more. Had the popcorn shrimp for a little taste. A little salty but very tasty. Wish it came with a different sauce for dipping. But tasty. Would like to come back for dinner eventually. Nice vibe.

All I have to say is more bread please. An amazing place to patronize. The staff is friendly. The ambiance was great as the wall open up to the outside. The food.... More bread please. Ok ok. Back to the food. The food was great, seasoned great and great presentation. The portions look small compared to a traditional Spanish restaurant. But trust and believe, that's not the case. You will be stuffed when you leave here put it in the repeat list!!

They were so accommodating with our large group, and the service was incredible. I unfortunately cannot remember our server's name, but she was wonderful, and the working manager, Ibrahim, made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The food, drinks, and service were just as exceptional as the entertainment. Our appetizers came out shortly after the group settled in, which was impressive given the size of our party. The elite ribs, tuna tacos, and wings were all delicious, and no one in our group had a single complaint about the food. I ordered the elevated birria empanada and had a passionfruit cocktail, and both were so good. The energy was amazing with sparklers, a DJ, and even a Carnaval-style dancer in a big feathered, sparkly costume performing around the restaurant. It was festive, memorable, and over-the-top in the best way. Easily above a 10/10 experience.

Our Server, Ramon, did an exceptional job. The staff did a great job at clearing finished items and everyone's timing was spot on. We started with the Tostones Rellenos con picadillo (Green plantains stuffed with ground beef). This was a great starter. Large enough to share and I enjoyed the drizzled sweet sauce and whole olives. Our entrees were: Palomilla Steak Platter (thin cut sirloin steak) and the Ropa Vieja (shredded flank steak). Both dishes were accompanied by white rice and we chose black beans and a side salad. This was the first time that I've seen Palomilla Steak presented totally cut into strips and it was a welcomed sight. The Ropa Vieja was perfectly seasoned and the amount of meat was thoroughly enjoyed. I capped off the meal with a Cortadito (A cortado is a Spanish coffee beverage consisting of equal parts espresso and warm, lightly steamed milk. The name comes from the Spanish verb cortar (to cut), meaning the milk "cuts" the acidity and intensity of the espresso. I appreciated the cookie on the side and each sip was amazing. Havana Central has various choices, to accommodate your time of day: lunch specials, a pre-theater menu, and a Happy Hour.

Everyone agreed with my suggestion to eat Latin American food and we made a reservation at Buena Vista, not far away from our hotel and also not far from the theater. We came over a bit early, around 5:15 and were immediately seated. We were immediately impressed by the business model. It is a melange of Latin American and Iberian faire with exquisite curation. Their cocktails were absolutely delightful, I had a Pantalones en Fuego, others had an exquisite margarita with passion fruit flavor and a Daiquirí de Fresa, just amazing. Then we ordered interminable Hors d'oeuvres. Their ham croquetas and mushroom croquetas were the rage, as well as the tostoncillos ibéricos and ceviche limeño, The main courses followed, a paella valenciana for two, the magret de pato, a delicious duck dish, and a grilled Argentine parrilla. Not bad for four people. Dessert included churros and tres leches. And of course, a bottle of a great Verdejo. Service was just flawless. We had several staff members all contributing to making our Father's Day evening special. All around us it was festive, with plenty of well dressed Spanish speakers in several tables, and the accents of a half a dozen Spanish speaking countries. Plenty of gringoes too. A beautiful collection of diversity. We left happy, ready to see "Oh Mary" and wanting to return

I had the steak (I prefer my steak more on the well side) and the chef managed to keep it positively tender and juicy. Perched on top of a few slices of fried casava slices and a small side salad. You can never leave without trying the flan it's one of the best I have ever had. Service was quick and food was bought to us piping hot. The only down side is they oddly don't make pina coladas (it's the only thing I drink) and the restaurant was a bit too cold but other than that it was a lovely birthday dinner for my friend. Buena Vista is small and popular so I strongly suggest you make reservations if you plan on eating here.

The seating was comfortable, making it an easy place to sit and enjoy the meal. I ordered the pernil, and the skin was, dare I say, perfect... crispy, flavorful, exactly what you want. Unfortunately, the meat itself was pretty lean and ended up a bit dry. The maduros were a bigger letdown; when I had them before, they were ripe and sweet, but this time they came out dry as hell. I sent them back, and to their credit, they took them off the bill without any issue. My friend enjoyed his Cuban panini, and while the pork chicharrón had a few off pieces, it was decent overall. So overall, I'd say this place can be really good, but there's definitely a consistency issue. When they get it right, it's excellent; it just doesn't seem to be that way every time.
