Spencer, once he sorted out what was happening to his team, came to our home and personally helped finish the packing. He pulled another team in after they finished their morning assignment and by the end of the evening we had four people working hard alongside us to get the truck packed so we could roll. A business shows you how well they care about you by how they handle an unexpected error. Even though we were leaving the area and there is little chance we will be able to make use of Good Moving Solutions again Spencer was more than fair in the charges. And Wes made sure the junk we needed run to the dump after we had left was taken care of the next day. Under pressure they helped us instead of throwing up their hands and bailing. As an extra testament to their work - the crew we hired on the unpacking end of our trip complimented how well the truck was packed. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

This review is long overdue, as we moved mid-October 2025…read more We would not have been able to move in a timely fashion without their packing and unpacking services. Everything was packed with great care and the items they unpacked were organized very nicely in our new home. They were very accommodating about removing our boxes and even notified us when they found a precious framed photo in the packing material we sent back to them. That photo was mailed back to us right away! Their service is very expensive. Because of this, we chose to do the unpacking after moving day by ourselves. Unfortunately, our moving day was extra long due to a snafu with the movers (see my review of Fuller moving company), so we went over estimate with New Leaf and not as much unpacking as we had hoped could be done. If I could do this again, I would have added an extra day of unpacking with New Leaf to help with the large boxes and more organization, but as I said before our budget was limited. Sara from New Leaf helped with negotiations with the moving company so we were not overcharged. Their services are very valuable for those of us with physical limitations who want to make moving less stressful. They are professional and very pleasant to work with. I recommend them highly for their services.
