Our garage door openers had become increasingly slow and hesitant to work, sometimes reversing course, and sometimes just making a buzzing sound and not moving at all, and both of our remotes had stopped doing anything, despite replacing the batteries with new ones. After reading all the owners manual said, and checking out the internet for info, it looked as though we were going to have to have both units replaced. He quickly determined that there was no problem with the openers, but that both doors sensors were no longer in alignment.
