However, communication was incredibly lacking about vital details like how long our family with two small children would need to be entirely out of the house for the project (not just the rooms in question), despite an in person meeting, signed documentation without those instructions and confirmations of project start date. Lack of clear instructions and communication on a matter so essential to the health and safety of our family caused a last minute scramble to find somewhere safe to live for over 2 weeks and additional worry as parents as they began the work while children were in the home. In response to these concerns, they offered a slight discount (and less than we amount we requested).
