We had a very bad clogged drain at our kitchen sink and needed a plumber right away. You never know how much you need your kitchen sink until you can't use it. The clog was due to a small spatula handle coming loose and going down the drain and getting caught at the trap. Later some potato peelings went through the garbage disposal and developed an intimate relationship with the spatula handle and BINGO - instant clog. The plumbing under the sink had a couple of fittings that were threaded but most of it was PVC pipe that was glued together. You could not remove the plumbing or the P trap. I've always been worried about the quality of work and pricing of plumbers based on some prior bad experiences. I found Guardian Plumbers through a Google Search and after visiting their website and reading some reviews, I gave them a call at around 8 am. Jessie got here at noon and by 12:30 pm he had cleared the clog with a snake. We were unsure if the spatula handle was gone or still lying there waiting to cause another clog in the future. Jessie suggested that we cut through one section of PVC pipe and add a "clamped" fitting. With that fitting and the other two threaded sections, the entire section of PVC plumbing could be removed taken outside and cleared. I agreed and 15 minutes later the section of PVC plumbing was in the back yard, the spatula handle was removed. In another 15 minutes the plumbing was all back in place - leak free. Total time was about an hour and not only was my problem solved but I now have a way to deal with future issues myself. Also I learned that the worse thing you can put down the kitchen sink is potato peelings. Jessie was great... extremely knowledgeable, efficient, creative and easy to talk with. Cant say enough about these guys. Jesse and Marcos are awesome. I was taken advantage of last year by another plumber. My kitchen sink backed up and drained slow. Water leaked into the cabinet. At the point of an emergency, a previous plumber snaked the pipe, seriously over charged me and left. A week later it started all over again. I have been afraid of my kitchen sink and the garbage disposal that worked when it wanted to until it didn't anymore. A friend recommended Jesse to me. I called Guardian Plumbing and he was sent out the next day. Jesse was just as amazing as my friend said. Professional, kind, understanding and listened. After thoroughly diagnosing the problems, he patiently explained the whole process to me. I couldn't hire them fast enough. The next day Jesse arrived with Marcos. Marcos is also awesome. As they worked they were both more than kind and put up with the nosey homeowner and her constant questions. Listening to them talk amongst themselves they were not going to settle for anything less than perfection. I found that reassuring beyond measure. When all was done, they checked, double checked, and triple checked everything. I have other plumming projects to take on. After going through 2 years of a terrible smell coming from one of our bathrooms every time the wind blew, a handful of plumbers who had no idea where the smell was coming from, or how to fix it and a nice sized dent in the pocket book, we called Guardian Plumbers...AND WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! Jesse came the first time and immediately identified one of the problems and fixed it. Jesse told us that there may be more problems because the smell had been coming from the opposite side of the house, and that we may need to do a "smoke test." We decided to wait and see if the smell came back. Sure enough it did, so we called Jesse at Guardian Plumbers and he and JD came out to our home, did the smoke test, and had a broken (or rather chewed through, yuck!) ventilation pipe in our attic replaced in no time, at a very fair cost. We are so grateful to have found Jesse at Guardian Plumbers. He is very knowledgeable, professional and does a great job! After dealing with other plumbers who "know it all" or have "X" number of years experience, yet could not fix or even find the problem...not to mention not even offer a test, but simply guess and charge us for things completely unrelated, and most likely not even broken, we will not be calling any plumbing company besides Guardian Plumbers from now on! My husband was removing a tree that was overgrown and lifting our sidewalk. During the removal the roots broke the main waterline to the house. He was elbow deep in mud and muck cleaning out the mess getting it ready for repair. I called Guardian Plumbing and Kristn sent a driver over within 5 to 10 minutes of me calling! I explained that we didn't really need a repair guy (my husband is pretty handy) but was wondering if they possible had parts on the truck that we could buy from them so my husband could get the repair done without having to clean up, go to home depot and possibly run out of daylight. The driver (I think it was Jesse?) did not have the pipe that we needed on his truck but he left, went back to the shop and got it for us. He didn't even want to charge us. Great service and you can tell they really care. I would recommend them whole heartedly! While my husband can handle most plumbing and other DIY projects around the house, we will most definitely us Guardian Plumbing if there is ever the need. Thanks Guardian. We have had an ongoing issue for months with a dirty, yucky sewer smell throughout our home, especially in our master bedroom/bathroom. It was gross and embarrassing. Guardian came out at least 4 times to diagnose and ultimately repair the problem. What we all thought was a sewer gas leak turned out to be a leaky shower drain. The box under the shower was full of stagnant water that was causing the terrible smell in our home. Guardian was persistent and professional throughout the process. I know it was not a typical job and took a lot of patience on their part. Jesse was great and always professional. He explained step-by-step what they were doing and did a great job dealing with our insurance co. Marcos and Jesse both spent hours at our home ensuring that the problem was identified and fixed. Guardian gave me a day and time for their plumber to arrive and repair a bathroom plumbing fixture. They arrived as indicated, the plumber repaired the leaking fixture within a reasonable period of time. He took care on carpet, hardfloors and shower area to minimize tracking dirt. The price was reasonable and so far, the shower faucet is working as it should. There was one issue that was a problem for both my wife and me. The plumber had a helper with him that did the running for tools, turning off and on the water and helping with cleanup. Our problem with this employee, he was wearing a mask but wearing it below and not covering his nose. When this was observed, the helper was asked to please raise the mask to cover his nose as well as his mouth. He complied. Within 15 minutes he was observed again with his mask again below his nose. We had to indicate that if he could not comply with our safety request he would have to leave immediately. He did comply for the remainder of the service call. read more

This was the second time I used Guardian plumbers, as before, stellar service. From the first initial contact by pleasant female on the phone, sorry didn't get her name to job completion, they were spot on. Free estimate is golden. I had heavy knocking in my pipes and called the Elsinore Water district to check my pressure. They found that the water pressure was good however our regulator was bad. I called Guardian at 9am, within 30 minutes Jack was at my door, he verified what EWD had stated, he gave me a fair quote and went to pick up the part. By 1130am, the job was completed, the tech Jack, explained every needed detail and was happy to answer my layman plumbing questions. I do have to say, before I contacted Guardian, I did check out the reviews for Mike Diamond Plumbing, heavy advertiser on KFI, wow, I didn't come across one good review. It pays to shop LOCAL!! We recently had problems with our hot water pipe and drain leaking below our kitchen sink. It would continue to back up and fill the sink when we ran the water. The drain seemed hopelessly clogged even after running the garbage disposal. When George Rios from Guardian Plumbers came to fix the problem, he did not give up, even though the first attempts to unclog it failed. He took the time to analyze and trouble shoot the problem. He also went to Home Depot to purchase some parts that needed to be replaced. It turned out to be a blockage deep within the drain pipe that needed to be rooted out multiple times before the problem was finally resolved. A leak from our family room ceiling appeared around 8 PM last Thursday. We called Guardian Plumbing and a technician named George came out within the hour. Upon thorough investigation he found that the leak was coming from a broken bathtub drain upstairs. Extensive water damage was evident. A remediation contractor was suggested and contacted. George arrived the next morning and performed the necessary plumbing repairs. After one week our remediation contractor removed their drying equipment. Upon inspection, a new unrelated leak was discovered. We called Guardian again and George arrived in a timely manner and addressed the newly discovered leak. On July 18 I called Guardian bc the old cast iron kitchen pipe system was leaking. I was told by the receptionist that the plumbers would be there between 8-12 Jul 19. I got a call abt 7:45A saying they would be there abt 8:15. And guess what? They were on my porch at 8:15! George (and his trusty sidekick. Angelo) came in, eval'd my situation and gave me a short time quote and a long time cost. I chose the latter and they went to work. They were professional and ķnowledgeable. I was and am still impressed with the finished product. They worked like Batman and Robin. The only thing missing was the 'bat' emblem on their chests! My kitchen sink was clogged for about 3 days and I was hesitant to call a plumber for fear of the high price and hassle. Finally I could not take it anymore and called Guardian Pluming and to my surprise the staff was very nice, curtious, and quick. The plumber Donnie was punctual, knowlegable, and super nice. He explained everything and put no pressure. To my surprise it was very affordable and quick and Donnie even gave me some good advise as to how to maintain my sink in good working order. Recently had Guardian Plumbing do a PEX repipe on my home. I was getting continuing pinhole leaks in my copper pipes. They arrived Monday morning at 8 with a crew of 9. They had my 3 bthrm house repiped by 1:30pm. On day 2, I had 2 gentlemen show-up at 7:30am. They had all the walls & stucco patched & looking great by 5pm. The Guardian rep I worked with, Mike Henderson, talked me through the whole process. He then checked on the finished product &one small problem (which was quickly resolved). I was totally satisfied after explaining my situation to Mickey, she was able to get a technician out that evening. I usually can replace and repair my bathroom fixture on my own. But could not figure out why my toilet keep rocking. They came out and found my pipe in the ground was worn and had loosen and I needed the piece replaced. The job was more then I could do. They gave me a fair price and got the job done on both bathrooms in 2 days. (area re cemented) I had a water leak in the house and re piping done. The previous plumber never check the pressure to the house. It was higher then the old pipes could handle. There were two representatives from Guardian Plumbers that came to my home several months ago. The man who appeared to be in charge had an enormous ego and was rude and EXTREMELY arrogant. The other man never spoke a word, and was obviously intimidated. The bill went to my landlord but I let her know that absolutely no work was done. He said I might try to poop and flush and poop and flush and poop and flush. He even asked if I took medication or used wipes that could cause the problem with the constant clogging. Nope.
