They were helpful in helping me understand the new system since my prior system was 20 years old; I now have this fancy, high tech thermostat that they walked me through. The whole process from scheduling an appointment for an estimate, to going over my options, to scheduling an installation was all very fast and efficient. They were actually ready to install the day after I accepted the estimate; I was the one who had to delay it a few days. In the end, I'm glad I made the call and would recommend their services to any of my fellow Pinellas County residents seeking AC service. Well, they kept delaying it and the AC unit in the main Rooms stop working because of water back up in the condensation tube. They could not come out right away, so I called another service to do so they came out that night. A month or so later I hired that same company to do the routine maintenance and they found that there was a leak in the evaporator coil. Since I bought the unit from Pinnelas, I agreed to have them come out and repair the unit. They sent a young man and an older gentleman, and the young man who was new did the work while the older gentleman stayed down in the garage and yelled up to him on what to do. The price was over $2700. But when they did not show up on the Saturday that they were supposed to they came the following Monday and offered a 10% discount on the work. The next day my wife was getting ready to leave to go to the airport and looked up in the ceiling, and there was a large wet spot. Turns out their new recruit did not connect something properly and water leaked all over the floor of the attic and then ultimately put a large spot in our kitchen . They did come out that day and acknowledge that it was their problem and they took pictures and said they would contact us to have a contractor come and paint the ceiling when dry. They were supposed to call us last Friday to have a contractor come out. I never did. They didn't call Monday and I called them and ask them what the problem was. They did not call Tuesday and finally on Wednesday a customer service rep called and said they would have to get approval to do so. my wife explained to them that Christian already approved it and only then did she acknowledged that OK we have a painter. Come out and appraise the job. First I would like to say that the train units that I purchased have continuously let us down. Every time Pinnelas comes out they find something else wrong. We've spent thousands of dollars on top of the warranty to have various things done including surge protectors, which cost well over $1000. I would suggest shopping around if you are looking for a quality air conditioner replacement. The company that came out in their place was called apostle I understand there may be staffing issues and the company bought out the original company and I really don't know who's in charge there anymore. I would definitely shop around if you were looking for a replacement AC unit or maintenance.

The project cost was significant--nearly six figures--and we were promised a 6-7 day installation by a highly experienced, professional metal roofing crew. The initial sales experience with Mike was positive. He was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, execution fell far short of what was sold. What was represented as a one-week project extended to nearly a month. The assigned supervisor, Eduar, spent limited time actively supervising the work, frequently remaining in his truck on the phone or managing repeated trailer issues in and out of our driveway. The crew itself was subcontracted, had completed only four metal roofs prior to ours, spoke no English, and lacked basic equipment--including ladders--which they repeatedly took from our property without permission until Ridge Max was contacted directly. Jobsite cleanliness and safety were unacceptable. Our pool and lanai were left covered in debris that we ultimately had to clean ourselves. The crew regularly worked after dark on a steep roof using cell phones for light, creating a serious safety concern that required intervention. Beer cans were later found on our property, which the supervisor acknowledged purchasing for the crew. Communication deteriorated after the first few days when Ridge Max reduced crew resources and continued to supply faulty equipment. Promised timelines were repeatedly missed, and concerns were consistently raised without meaningful resolution. We were pressured into purchasing attic fans with the assurance they would be installed at no charge; however, installation was delayed for weeks and nearly placed in a highly visible front-facing location rather than the agreed-upon rear placement. After escalating concerns to the original salesperson, a second supervisor was sent who acknowledged our dissatisfaction and stated the company "owed us at least a steak dinner." Despite requests, the owner declined to contact us or visit the project. We were asked to leave a five-star review and told a gift card would be sent--this never occurred. While the crew returned once to address outstanding items, numerous scratches and signs of rust remain on our new roof. Overall, the workmanship and project management did not align with what was marketed as a premium, professional installation. Buyer beware. Ridge Max Roofing did not deliver on its stated promise to "protect what matters." Based on our experience, the company prioritizes its bottom line over quality, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Less than a year later the paint had faded making the front section of my home above our front door look like it had the measels. I began requesting repar in September of 2024. It's still not done mid June, 2025. I've had two of their staff come look at the damage, document it, and promise to order materials. The most recent visit was in March. I've place numerous callls and texts. I've received numerous promises, broken promises, and postponements. The crew manager will not answer or return my calls. I finally got ahold of someone in the office this morning and they told me they hadn't even ordered the material yet. They told me they ordered in last November. I've been a contractor and hired many companies in my 50 years of doing business in the trades. This contractor is the worst I've dealt with regarding customer service. They apparently have no value in taking care of their customers once the job is paid for. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR ROOF!

After Hurricane Helene hit and flooded our home, my wife and I were in need of pro remediation fast. To their credit, Master Restoration was the first to call us back. Having gotten their name on recommendation, seeing their positive reviews, and verifying they were licensed and insured, we decided to hire them. Although their price was extremely high compared to competitors, we believed we would be getting thorough, premium service by a respected, established local company. How wrong we were. Right out of the gate, we were blindsided by their refusal to remove our glued-down engineered wood flooring. Apparently they only include easy-to-remove laminates and floating tile. No price adjustment to their flat rate was offered as compensation, leaving us to seek out another vendor for that, at additional expense. Once the contract was signed, we also discovered our main contact wouldn't return calls or texts unless prompted by his superiors, forcing us to repeatedly contact the main office to inquire about the schedule and project status. On two occasions, he did assure me that permits for the work were being secured through the city on our behalf. Next, we realized each phase of the project was apparently being farmed-out to unknown subcontractors, who performed substandard work without adequate supervision or any follow-up inspections by the company. They would show-up at our home without notice, forcing us to reschedule them at more appropriate times. No HEPA air scrubber was used during the process. They did the four-foot drywall cutout, but we later noticed some insulation was still left in place, as well as inconsistency with door and window frame removal. Kitchen cabinetry wasn't handled properly, with floor-to-ceiling sections cut in half, rather than removed at the crown. The plumber they hired didn't even have a part to cap the water line when disconnecting the fridge! The so-called "sanitization" phase would be laughable if it weren't so abysmal. Instead of checking to make sure the house water main was turned on, the team attempted to use a dribble of water from an open interior pipe to mop the floors. When that failed, they asked me if they could use the black contaminated water from our storm-damaged swimming pool! I refused, of course, and then they finally checked the water main and turned it on. Even with fresh water, the clean-up was nothing more than pushing a dirty mop around without any cleansers, resulting in cloudy, soiled floors still caked with drywall dust. Then came the "dry-out" phase--shamefully lacking in industry-standard protocol. One dehumidifier was brought in to cover 2500 sq ft, along with a handful of air movers. They were left in-place for five days, which we were led to believe would be more than adequate. Apparently not. When the team returned, they appeared to take a couple of moisture readings, which seemed to be below the 15% mark, as required. I watched as one team member fumbled with a moisture meter, pushing buttons until the reading looked good. I have since learned he may have been "fooling the meter", by choosing hardwood mode instead of the appropriate soft wood mode for the beams. Thirty days out, readings reveal the moisture is still far from gone, remaining saturated between 28-36% in certain places, leaving us at risk. Lastly, we were promised by contract a complete post-remediation report with photos to be furnished to FEMA and our insurance carrier. To date, we have not received the report, and Master Restoration has failed to respond to our queries about its status, as well as the status of the city permits or the PRV mold report required per their license. Now we are faced with the unpleasant prospect of paying EVEN MORE MONEY to another, more reputable company to complete the work. Do yourself a favor, and PASS ON MASTER RESTORATION!

We chose Trust, they did a nice job "blending" the new roof / shingles into the existing roof. They communicated well, they pulled the permit and arranged the inspection. Everything went very well, the work looks nice. They also quoted replacing the roof on rest of the home, again it was a reasonable quote, we will be reaching out to them when the time comes to replace the entire roof and our old skylights.

My thermostat recently went out and I called Air Zero. I had used them years ago however, they are…read moreunder new ownership. A technician came out the same day. He was friendly. He installed a new thermostat. That night the thermostat failed. Apparently, the new thermostat was defective. I called the company and they sent out another two technicians. They replaced the bad thermostat and checked the wiring in the air handler. They said that a "wire was loose". The new thermostat can only work with batteries (AA size) because the techs said that our voltage/wiring was bad. They didn't offer to check further or make it work without batteries. For all of those who have a bad thermostat and need to replace it; go down to a big box store and find one that you like and have the air conditioner techs install it. We were not given any choice of thermostats. The one they installed is very difficult to read. We were charge $500 for a simple thermostat replacement. I was shocked. They charged us $139 just to come out.
