This is probably the best in Miami, AZ if you judge by just how many diners are in here. I fired up both Google and Yelp to see what was good in this area and both apps recommended this spot. I needed a break after driving for 3 hours and needed to eat and use the washroom so this place worked out nicely for me. They have booth seats and in the middle larger tables for bigger parties. I sat in a booth and service from the women working here was very good! I loved their fresh made chips and homemade salsa that came in carafes. I even asked to take home the salsa, which I have never done before! Yum! I ordered the tamale plate but couldn't really substitute out the beans, which I did not like. I have tried so many times to develop a healthy relationship with pinto beans and refried beans, but no matter what, I just hate them. I can't figure out why I don't like them, I think it's the mushy consistency and just don't enjoy them. Not the restaurant's fault at all. The tamale was good and the rice flavorful. Next time, I'll just ask for double portion rice. I had a margarita but didn't really enjoy it. Was too spirit forward for me. Next time, I'll try a frozen one instead. As you can see, I am planning to come back! The place had character, and I'd come back just for the chips and salsa and great service! Great spot in Miami and looks like everyone knows about this place!

The Globe-Miami area has a remarkable number of really good Mexican restaurants, but for my money, this is the best one. It can get a little busy at times, but the service is usually friendly and quite efficient. As for the food, it is very good! I'm partial to the chicken specials, but the popular no. 6 is always a good option on the menu. So if you are visiting the area, or just passing through on the way to Roosevelt Lake or the White Mountains, consider stopping here for a tasty, authentic Sonoran-style meal.

A nice little point place in Miami, Arizona. If you're ever in a small town of Miami, you need to stop at this place. Autumn our server was great. She described the different dishes to me and I decided to have the huevos rancheros. I loved it delicious . My friend had the #1 and he loved it.. The food was delicious. The stuff in here again the next time we're here.

    Inside with yummy salsa!

Second time here; place is streaming with tourists. This place pops with friendly service and great freshly prepared foods. The salsa is plentiful and fresh. I ordered a chicken taco salad which comes with or without the shell! (And I kept finding more pieces of chicken breast throughout the mix.) My girlfriend had the taco combo plate. Decent prices and great food! The service is exceptional. Come and enjoy if passing through.

We have a boat at the Marina and didn't realize how close it is to eat here, what a great meal!! Authentic old school Mexican food! Amazing salsa! Great margaritas! They got busy so we got ignored a bit after our food came but we were able to flag people down, we will be back next time we're down there!

Don't judge by the exterior. This place has some of the best traditional Mexican food throughout AZ I've had in a long time.

The humble atmosphere is festive and clean while the menu is loaded with all the Mexican favorites. Mine (which is hard to find these days) is Red Menudo. It was FABULOUS! This has been my usual spot on the way home because the food is consistently good, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. It's a step above fast food and generally a welcome break. Today was no exception in terms of food quality, I had the beef soup with flour tortillas and rice. The chips and salsa are always good and so are their (aguas frescas), I had the pineapple one which was okay. However, the extremely loud music made the experience unpleasant. At first, I assumed the volume was up because I was the only customer, but even as others arrived, the music remained uncomfortably loud. I hope someone sees this review and considers adjusting the volume. While the staff might enjoy it, the dining experience should prioritize the comfort of customers. I'll likely give it one more try, but if the noise level is the same, it may be my last visit.
