Had a great experience yesterday with Anthony. He was friendly, helpful and assisted me with my shopping needs. He helped me choose between a couple different bags I had been looking at. The perfect bag for my day to day casual needs! He was knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Some reviews wrote that this store had employees that were being judgy about the way people look. I was very casual, sweatshirt and jeans and I never once felt judged here. Maybe you just need to work with Anthony. He was great! The store has plenty to choose from. Purses, shoes, clothing, glasses, jewelry, beautiful heels and much more. I went into the Gucci at Beverly Center yesterday. I was looking for an item I was certain they didn't have, but was on my head to have. Guess what?!. THEY HAD IT! Guess what else?!. I ended up leaving without it. Seeing articles in-person has saved me so much time and money. I am accustomed to having some of everything delivered, so I took a discretionary trip to see items in-person that I otherwise would have ordered online. The Ophidia GG Supreme Top-Handle Cosmetics Case was my obsession, until I saw it in-store. It is a beautiful piece but it is a bit smaller than I anticipated. Had it literally been 1.5 inches wider, I would have purchased it. With that said, Sales Associate Bianca is the truth. I didn't make a purchase yesterday, but I went to browse more than buy, tbh. I love the store. It is well-stocked and has a lot of great merchandise. I would deduct a star for the employees who stood around talking to each other rather than speaking to me, but that would be a disservice to Bianca as well as the brand. When I go shopping on the weekend I don't get all overly dressed up to impress anyone- I have to get dressed up during the week so the weekends are mine and I just like to shop and relax. Evidently, this Gucci truly believes how you look when you come in really matters. I came in dressed rather casually- I had called before to make sure they had the bag I found online and they did- I went in and it was the worst Pretty Woman Moment ever. There was a petite older Asian woman who I guess in her world was trying to "assist" me. She was rude and she could care less and before I was finished looking at the bag she started putting all the paper stuffing and such in the bag.... my friend said...hey there is a Burberry down the hall why don't we go there...I just turned around and left the store- I purchased a gorgeous tote at Burberry who's sales people evidently do understand what Customer Service is. Go to the Gucci on Rodeo instead of this Knock off version of Gucci. read more

I went to the Gucci store during COVID. I think to get the best service you have to call and make sure that they have the items that you need. When I called they told me that a sales associate was going to call me or text me. Brian text me. It was my first time at this store I always go to the one on Rodeo Drive. He told me exactly how to get there. He told me to park in the fourth floor and to turn a left as soon as I get my parking ticket. As soon as I got out the elevator on the 7th floor the store was right on my left side. At the door they check for temperatures and give you hand sanitizer. I was helped by Brian. Brian was so helpful and let me try on belts until I found the perfect fit. I bought a belt and a purse. Brian was so helpful and paid attention to all my needs and let me try on future items that I want. I also notice that the manager from the store was interacting with customers making sure everything was okay and giving a thumbs up and asking if I was Okay. Even though the manager had a mask on you can tell he was smiling and cared about this customers. The day after my purchase Brian texted me to say thank you for shopping at Gucci and if I need anything else he's there to help. Excellent customer service! If I can only just say one word it would be VERONICA!!!!!!!!!!! I literally just walked out of the LV store after waiting for 20 minutes and hated the experience because of there lack of ANYTHING. Im grateful for the experience because I walked right over to GUCCI and received EVERYTHING, just from VERONICA alone. Her Energy was AMAZING as soon as my friends and I were greeted. She kept a smile on her face while patiently explaining the different perfumes fragrances. That was only within the first 10 mins of walking in!!! Did I say her energy was Amazing? My friends decided to treat me for my Birthday and they know Im a perfume fanatic. I usually go for Fresh smells and Floral is usually the LAST fragrance family I would even consider but VERONICA (I feel like I must put her name in all caps because that's how great of a person she is) let me smell The Gucci Bloom(intense) and I WAS SOLD IMMEDIATELY. So much better experience here than LV in Beverly Center! Arrived here right after work with my mother (Of course NOT looking fancy or dressed up in any way) we made our way into the store. Worst customer service I've ever encountered. I came in to the Beverly Center store 2 days ago and purchased a 60 inch belt just to find out they sold me a 90 inch. It was a gift and the person said it was a little too big. And the only reason I found out it was the wrong size was because I went to return/exchange the belt at a Gucci store closer to me and the guy helping me out said it was the wrong size. On the receipt it says 60 inch but the belt was a 90 inch. So I had to got to the original store (Beverly center) which was an hour away just for them to tell me that they couldn't exchange or return the belt. The guy said and I quote "you should've brought it in as soon as you realized it was the wrong size". Like hello what does it look like I'm doing? Worst part is, is that I didn't even know it was the wrong size till they pointed it out. He also said "you can add holes to the belt". No absolutely not. This was the stores mistake not mine. Also when we arrived the doors were closed so we knocked and someone came, took a look at us, and went back to what they were doing. It was the middle of the day and we had to wait 45 minutes for them to open the door for us. Do not go to this store or at least make sure they're selling you the correct item or size. read more

Unfortunately this location was the only store that had the item I was looking for. I went in on a weekday. All the employees there was in their cell phones and didn't even acknowledge me. I went straight to the counter and asked for the item and bought it. I didn't even bother looking around as the atmosphere was so unwelcoming. If you see a client, please act like you care about your job. As I walk out all the employees were on their cellphones still. My go to spot for my gucci needssss! Honestly everything I wanted they had the size I needed! I'm usually greeted when I come in, but I honestly always have to call for a worker to help me. That's the only down fall of this place the customer service. Every time I come in it's not really busy, I notice a lot of the workers stand in the front section most of the time. So I feel like they should really attend to all customers that come in esp if there not busy? Israel G. (Sales Supervisor) - oh, how I love thee. I decided that for my 30th birthday, I'd buy myself a nice purse. I know, girls buy purses all of the time; why is this a special occasion? Because I definitely am NOT a purse-buying kind of gal. All name-brand purses I have have been either gifted to me or hand-me-downs from my purse-loving mother. I think the most expensive purse I personally bought is the Triple 5 Soul bag I bought during college for $55 (including tax). I decided to get myself a nice, white/off-white-colored purse. I went in with cash in my wallet ready to buy. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Israel, and I'm really glad he ended up helping me. He's super friendly, a great conversationalist, and very helpful. When I told him I was searching for a white bag, he went above and beyond to take out every white/off-white purse they carried. He didn't try to narrow it down by asking me what style I wanted; he just took everything out! I came across three purses in off-white guccissima leather, and all three are beyond my budget. I went in there thinking I'd spend maybe $1200 (including tax) but the ones I was looking at were $1240-1450 before tax. It was almost closing time and I'm sure they were all waiting to leave but Israel was really patient with me, and made sure to assist me in the most welcoming way possible. I called this store to make sure they had a purse in the specific color/style I wanted and the person that answered my call confirmed it was in stock. I even repeated the color I wanted and he confirmed it was in the store. I show up and what do you know....they DIDN'T have the one I wanted!! The rep that helped me told that the rodeo drive store definitely had it. Drove to the rodeo dr store and they didn't have it there either! It's a good thing I had other business in LA , otherwise I would have been extremely pissed off that I wasted a trip here for nothing. I swear..these sales reps are either just lazy, stupid, or they need more training on how to properly check items on their computer systems. It's Gucci. The clothing is unbelievably pricey and showy. That being said, some of their offerings have super impressive artwork that justify the price. Whatever. I don't need to tell you about Gucci and what it is. I'm writing this review because the staff at this store is really fantastic. The staff are super smiley and very accommodating. This is in stark contrast to other high end retailers who seem a little more...indifferent as to whether or not something is actually purchased. The manager, Jimmy, was able to help me with a shoe issue that he had no obligation to help me out with. The pair of shoes was cutting into my toe in a strange way, so he got me a new pair no problemo. It was surreal. Although department stores offer generally better deals and the internet provides superior convenience, there are certain advantages to shopping with a human sales clerk and I'll probably stop by this store whenever I need new Gucci products. read more

I love getting something for my wife & surprising her, the critique I had is employees judging based on how you look. I may be in sweats & coming from the airport, and I hate sounding prestigious but take a look at peoples watches once in a while. You guys acted like I wasn't there. Regardless who you are, you never know who people are especially based on how you look. Please be more careful & be more kind t all. She took the purses to the back and said that it was fine , To look for another purse . Suddenly she gets called by the supervisor and said that she could not exchange it because it was scratched. First time buying Gucci and had a great experience. Tony was super nice and helpful. As soon as we walked in he greeted us and asked us if we needed help. I went in looking for some Gucci loafers they didn't have the color I wanted. So he had me try on the size I was looking for in a different color and said we could order them online. Gucci should not count on their hype for much longer and they should be alerting their staff of that. While I am not a fan of their tacky logo'ed clothes, I do fancy some of their bags, shoes, and sunglasses from time to time. After a stellar experience at Balenciaga, I walked across to Gucci to view a pair of sunglasses that I had my eyes on. Considering Balenciaga and Gucci are owned by Kering, I was expecting a welcoming and helpful staff at Gucci as well. Nope. What I got was staff that couldn't be bothered by me and a cheap looking air conditioning fan stationed at the entrance. I've worked retail, I understand it's hard to be optimistic when work is slow and boring but at least try a little, especially when a commission involved. I had a pleasant experience at this Gucci location. The SA's were extremely friendly even though I was only returning a purchase I made online at Gucci.com. It was a $1200 Guccissima rubberized backpack that was just too small for me and in my opinion not practical to use for work. I was greeted by both SA's when I walked in and my return only took minutes! The only issue was that the security guard was very focused on me and did seem to follow me around the store, especially when I picked up a Guccissima rubberized duffle bag. I was dressed pretty well, with business-casual clothes and a coach signature scarf, but hey I was the only customer in the store at the time...guess he didn't have anything else to stare at lol! Horrid customer service on the day after Christmas. We spent a ridiculous amount at Gucci.com on one of Gucci's kids style purses for our daughter, only to be very disappointed as it was so small it was almost unusable. We came here the day after Christmas to either exchange or return it, as this is the closest Gucci to our home --- despite it being almost 25 miles. To our dismay we were told because it was purchased online they could not return or exchange it --- it had to be mailed back to Gucci.com. Nevermind we had all the receipts and it was in original packaging exactly as received. Nope, its their "policy". Seriously, the store assistant manager sounded like she was reciting lines from her last job at TJ Maxx. Nevermind we have spent thousands at this store before. Nevermind that all she needed to do was look at the gear my wife was carrying (and the fact we had just purchased a Gucci bag for our 10 year old daughter) to make the leap we were likely the types to spend thousands more in the future. Nope, that's the policy, you folks need to bring that to the post office. Just wow. Well, sorry to tell her it is our policy to never spend another dollar at a luxury store that behaves like Ross. Granted it isn't my first time at Gucci and I know the prices are ridiculous but it is a high end store and is not for everyone. If you have to get in there and ask prices repeatedly, you probably should not be there. With that said, I had purchased a baby box set for my daughter titled "My First Gucci Outfit" even before she was born back in May and I got 3-6 month size. We finally put it on her yesterday and it just didn't fit right. I took it back today to exchange and they a) don't carry it anymore b) cannot do anything at all c) offered zero options for me. Then when I asked to look at the Dionysus I said I wanted the small Dionysus and the woman pulls the supreme mini, I said "oh sorry I meant this one, the small" and pointed at the small one. She laughed. I said this one is the supreme mini, small, and medium right? (Pointing at each) and she laughed again and corrected me in a weird sassy way?? I know she's the employee but she was not correct. I know the sizes but I just said ok! And then left. I'll go make my purchases at Rodeo. Or YSL instead. read more
