My friend and I went in on a whim, as she told me that there are some scents that I have to try. Security guard was friendly as he opened the walkway for us to enter. Immediately greeted with a warm smile and a hello. As we walked our way to the fragrances, an associate came up to us and apologized that they were busy and there were three customers ahead of us. We were fine as we weren't rushed for time and they took our names down on their iPad. I noticed that the associates are all.. HAPPY! Our nanny Blanca A. just turned 30, and while we default to cash for her birthday gifts, I wanted to get her something nice on top, a present she could keep throughout this new decade of her life and beyond. I'm not a regular Louis Vuitton customer, but for some reason, my first idea was to head to the Beverly Center and see what they had to offer. The LV store is on the 7th floor with all the other luxury stores, and it looks particularly enticing, with huge window displays and the promise of abundant inventory. The place was almost empty when I walked in on a Monday afternoon. Just one other shopper and a few employees. It took a minute for me to get help, but the staff was friendly and very helpful. Two people helped me, a sales associate and another guy who must've been filling in while the sales associate was busy. I told them I was looking at small leather goods, a card carrier or wallet, and they showed me several options in the right size and price range. It was an easy, pleasant shopping experience. I ended up buying the Victorine wallet in the classic monogram with a blush pink color on the inside (the house name for the color is "rose ballerine"). It came with complimentary personalization, which I left to Blanca. The sales associate packaged the wallet up neatly, in an LV box in an LV shopping bag, with a gift receipt in an LV envelope. Blanca loved the present so much she was shaking and nearly in tears. I was super happy with my purchase and wouldn't be shocked if I found myself back at LV. I'm in my ajumma era now, and that monogram is looking pretty good. read more

Firstly, my wife has spent almost $10,000 in LV over the last three months. We do not have an LV store near us. The two closest stores are Palm Desert (4 hour drive) and Beverly Center (2 hour drive). All purchases were made at the Palm Desert location and all future purchases will be made at the Palm Desert location with the help from the best LV employee, Antonio. My wife was in the market to purchase the LV Speedy Soft 30 Crafty. We were walking in the Beverly Center after driving two hours with the intent to purchase this purse. Upon entering the store, we were greeted an LV staff member with a tablet in her hand. She stated the only available sales person was tending to another client and she could put our names on a list and she could call us to return at a later time. When I advised her that we drove a long distance to come make a purchase, she shrugged her shoulders as if it wasn't her concern. We were less than pleased so we left. A week later, we drove to the Palm Desert location where we met our favorite LV salesperson, Antonio, where my wife purchased the above mentioned purse. Antonio was amazing as usual and we have made several purchases from Antonio in the past. Not to mentioned, my wife has taken her other purses to the Palm Desert location to have them serviced and the zippers waxed and all done immediately without hesitation. Last week, my wife and I went to the Beverly Center to look at another LV purse and wax the zipper in the Speedy Soft 30 Crafty purchased at the Palm Desert location a week earlier. The same LV staff member at the Beverly Center with the tablet greeted us with the doorman and told us to wait outside the store because three customers were in the store already. My wife explained that all she wanted was the zipper on her LV purse waxed and the staff member said they could not help my wife and all maintenance on LV purses must be kept overnight. At the Palm Desert location, within 15 minutes. At Palm Desert, we have never had to wait outside or put on a list. Needless to say, the Beverly Center staff were never friendly and both times very matter of fact and rude. We will never buy any more LV from Beverly Center. I am updating my review due to a positive experience I had at Louis Vuitton recently. For starters, the Beverly Center is empty, but that doesn't stop people from being rude or ignoring customers if they think you can't afford something. Not the case here. I hadn't been to a LV store in YEARS. I barely get out, but since I was at the mall, I stopped in to view a couple items in-person that I was interested in. LV's prices are out-of-control. They win the award for the most price increases of any designer brand in existence. Since I don't have a sugar daddy and my winning Scratchers only hit for $115, I have to mind my money. This isn't the place to do it! I stood at the counter and watched a young lady be treated by a man who looks old enough to be her father, but who I am certain is her sugar daddy. I stood quietly as he peeled back about $2,200 or so in hundred dollar bills to buy what I think was a Murakami bag. Enjoy your bag, queen. Must be nice! I was looking at smaller bags (which are entirely too expensive for what they hold, but they are so cute) and a Nice toiletry pouch with the top handle. You know the one. (I would carry it as a handbag. IDC. IDC. IDC!!!) The Nice is one of the more 'reasonably' priced pieces and it is spacious. (Get yours before they hike the price up again.) Carolina M. assisted me. I came so close to purchasing a wallet, only to realize I need to take that money and have the vachetta replaced on a Speedy I bought my Mom years ago. I need to give her a grocery bag to carry her things, because she will ruin a bag, but aside from one section of damaged vachetta, the bag is great. I was very disappointed in this LV given the location it's in, customer service can and needs to improve. I walked in because I wanted to hot stamp my wallet and handbag, the employee "helping" me was VERY adamant that she didn't think it was a good idea for me to hot stamp my handbag because SHE has OCD and if it came out crooked there was nothing they could do to fix it so she went out of her way to make sure my purse did not get hot stamped despite what I (the customer) wanted. Also, my wallet stayed in this location for 6 days SIX DAYS, and it was never hot stamped because the employee that was supposed to do it hadn't been to work. Even though they mentioned it would only take 24-48 hours, 144 hours later it was still not done and there was NEVER a courtesy call or nothing and guess what? Someone else had to do my wallet anyway. Needless to say the hot stamp STILL came out crooked so now I'm stuck with an $800 wallet that has crooked initials anyway. I took my Neverfull bag in for repairs, and an employee named Carolina Martin carefully examined it, pointing out all the issues and what needed fixing. I agreed to all her suggested repairs except for the handles, as I was fine with them not matching for the first few months. Initially, she told me the inside of the bag couldn't be cleaned and quoted a repair fee of $500. A few weeks later, I received a call saying my item was ready, and they had cleaned the inside of the bag despite previously stating it couldn't be done. They also reduced my fee from $500 to $300, to my surprise. Everything seemed fine until I went to pick up my bag on 03/07 and noticed damage that wasn't previously there. I spoke with a friendly manager who said she would refund the $300 and wanted to keep my bag to show the store manager, who would contact me the next day. However, I didn't hear from anyone until five days later when Carolina Martin (not a store manager) called and left a message claiming that I had picked up my bag while it was still in their possession. When I tried to call her back several times on the mobile number she provided, she didn't answer, and my text messages went unanswered as well. I emailed LV and eventually called again two weeks later. Carolina Martin returned my call, stating that the damage I was reporting was pre-existing, and that their workshop took pictures as proof upon receiving my bag, stating that they have proof of the damages. Pretty much accusing me of being dishonest. Then I was contacted by an unprofessional store manager named Kelvin Calloway, who accused me of being dishonest and refused to resolve the issue. Following that call, I received an email from Carolina Martin saying my bag had been shipped to the workshop because they could no longer hold it. They didn't give me 24 hours to pick up my bag after asking to keep it for an internal investigation, and not returning my calls for 2 weeks, they shipped my bag to their workshop without my authorization. Now, my bag is damaged beyond repair, and the way this issue has been handled is unacceptable. I will never set foot in any LV stores after this experience. When I requested the contact details for the corporate office, they stated that there is no corporate office and that I wouldn't be able to reach anyone above them. read more

For a whopping $280, Louis Vuitton has a selection of forgettable watery-citrusy-sugary-synthetic trifles all floating on the same grating Iso Super E base. Want to smell like Louis Vuitton? Go to your nearest Ross, just find whatever bottle of Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, or One Direction fragrance is on super-double clearance for $9.99, because those cheap celebrity perfumes targeting middle schoolers smell exactly like Louis Vuitton's two dozen-or-so fragrances. Frankly, for three hundred bucks, I expect something better than grape Kool-Aid or birthday cake. But I'm giving this Louis Vuitton a fairly high rating is because 1) I was able to walk straight into the store without being confronted by some bouncer telling me I need a reservation. That kind of attitude at the Rodeo Drive boutique has become a bad parody of luxury retail. And 2) the service I received was excellent. Daniela Lozano took time to go through the fragrance line with me and was very personable, even when it was clear when I wasn't they biggest fan of it. She was the model of what a luxury retail associate should be: warm, approachable, accommodating, and considerate ― in that she listens to the customer. After some disappointing recent experiences in high-end retail, this visit was a welcome return to what shopping used to be. read more

When I walked inside and waited for service to come talk to me as usual being it was my second time I expected good service. Pissed I asked to speak to the manager (sorry for being a Karen) and waited. After 15 minutes the assistant manager came out and told me that he didn't have time and gave me two samples. I told him I didn't want the samples but he gave it to me in a and I left. I still have my empty bottle and I'm pissed that I haven't gone back because of that one thing. The staff was young and very attentive. I took my time shopping this was the year of trendy fashion everything was beautiful and unique plus this girl could choose any bag she wanted. I chose a cute bag with leather and gold tassels with a soft cream colored suede interior its definitely trendy and one I hadn't seen anyone wearing at the time it's a medium sized bag and can't hold too much that was my only regret. I also bought the matching wallet. This bag about was $1,400 to $1,495 and the wallet approximately $450.00 it been so long I can't remember exactly and the leather trim on the bag was light colored tan. I wish I remembered the name of this bag. The bag was placed into a lovely brown box with soft monogrammed wrapping tissue including a monogramed dust bag the wallet had a nice brown box as well. This bag is special to me for sentimental reasons. I can't ever part with it although I told my daughter it's hers when I kick the bucket. Lol Check out my pictures The bag is as lovely as they day it was bought its in mint condition and the leather has cured beautifully at first it was light tan now it's dark tan I get so many compliments when I wear it. I have bought and received many bags as gifts over the years with a variety of designers Coach, Dooney and Bourke and more including my wear everyday leather bags and the cute target bags that holds all of my stuff when I'm need of a regular bag. It's a girl thing I suppose collecting bags. We love the quality of these bags they cost a lot but can last a lifetime if you take care of them. In this case you truly get what you pay for the quality is magnificent.
