We stayed in Room 325 on 7/11/2025 through 7/13/2025 the air conditioner was so loud it would wake you up at night. When I complained they knew about it and said that there was nothing they could do about it. The room had a missing smoke detector the cushions on the sofa was gross. Do not stay here two days there was 550 dollars it is very dated and needs a complete refresh. read more

I booked a room for today, Feb. 6th, and I cannot even put my frustration into words. I want to preface that the front desk, assistant manager, Jazz was sweet and caring and extremely helpful and polite. She would make an amazing manager and I genuinely hope that she gets recognized as an amazing asset to her team and truly should be considered to be the manager. Upon entering my room, there was urine stains on the toilet, trash all on the floor, beds not clean, and most disturbingly, c** stains on the floor and toilet. We went to the desk to ask for a new room. We were placed in 214. Unlocked the door with our room key, and to our UNPLEASANT SURPRISE, there were folks in the bed doing DRUGS and someone in the shower. We ran out to the front. We grabbed our stuff and asked for a refund. Jazz had to call Kayla for assistance. This is where things get worse. KAYLA the "manager" was the most rude, uncaring, unhelpful, and disrespectful manager I have ever had the displeasure to come into contact with. I want KAYLAS AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, COMPLETE LACK OF EMPATHY, AND AWFUL CARE OF THIS PROPERTY TO BE INVESTIGATED. She asked "well what's wrong with the room we gave you?" As if we didn't explain it to her twice. She then asked why we wanted to leave, which makes absolutely no sense considering this place is UNSAFE due to lack of CONSIDERATION OF PRIVACY!!!!! We said, we don't want anyone walking into our room in the middle of the night. She said that would be impossible- well obviously it wasn't. She was also very rude to her assistant manager who was going the absolute best she could to help us. KAYLA should not have been disrespectful to Jazz at all. Jazz was the only good thing in that hotel. Kayla was absolutely awful and will steer any business they ever get away. Kayla made us jump through extra hoops to even get our refund. Which btw, we still haven't gotten. STEER AWAY!!! DO NOT COME HERE. MANAGEMENT: fire Kayla. For the sake of your business!!!! Jazz would be amazing manager. read more

GuestHouse Kelso Longview was a solid lodging option for our hiking trip around Mt. St. Helens. We wanted to stay around the Kelso Longview area and this hotel seemed to have everything we needed for our weekend stay. Located in Kelso near other businesses, like Safeway and restaurants, we checked in at night on a Saturday and found that there were many other guests staying here too. Check in was an easy process. We stayed on the third floor (there are only three floors) with a king size bed and a wet bar. Our room had a mini fridge, toiletries, coffee maker, AC, free wifi, and it was spacious with the wet bar area and a table for where you could dine. What was nice about staying here was that they offered a complimentary continental breakfast. But they have not opened their pool or hot tub since COVID-19. The gym is open though. Our stay was comfortable. If you're looking for an updated, modern, renovated hotel that's luxurious then look elsewhere because GuestHouse is not that. You can tell it's an older building; however, they provided all that we needed and more. No complaints. read more

We just stayed here for one night and the entire experience was amazing!! Very friendly staff and great quiet clean rooms. The pool and hot tub were clean and we had a lot of fun. Breakfast was also great. A lot if options to choose from. I went with the biscuits and gravy,omelet and sausage links, with coffee and orange juice......and there were so many more options to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. I am in town because my brother is in ICU, the hotel has been extremely amazing. they were sold out on a couple days I needed, they did everything they could to get me in. when I got back to hotel she informed me that they got me a room and if I needed help with my bags. This hotel is clean breakfast is amazing and every staff member I encountered was so polite and went out of their way to make sure my stay was great. We arrived at last minute due to scheduling issue with a Competitor across the highway they were gracious which is not heard of any more even in the hospitality market. The gal at the front desk who had been working 14 days in a row, was still pleasant and smiled and was very kind. The rooms were clean my dogs were welcomed even though they were large and it looked pleasantly clean. Not much of that is found in Longview. I think I would recommend the guest house before I would go to any other lodging the price was highly competitive the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that there is a pet fee. read more

This was our first time in the state of Washington and in this area. We stayed at the Guest House for six days. The hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are good size, quiet, and includes coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast is very good and includes eggs, sausages, waffles, cereal, and the normal continental breakfast items. However, the hotel internet WiFi connection is very very slow. In our room it was 9mps so I just used my cell phone provider instead. The hotel is next to a Safeway and Target which is very convenient to pick up groceries, water, snacks, etc. The only issue is the cleaning staff needs to improve some. Two days our room was not cleaned when we got back around 3:00pm. Luckily one cleaning staff employee was still at the property and did clean our room. Other than that, the Guest House is a nice place to stay in Kelso. read more

Guesthouse Inn & Suite KELSO, WA... thank you. We made a reservation to stay there over the weekend of Aug 27th till Aug 29th 2010. We arrived FINALLY after INDEED a long freaking drive from Denver, CO to Kelso, WA. This hotel is situated adjacent to the Three Rivers Mall area. When we arrived there @ 00:35hrs, Saturday morning of Aug 28th 2010, the staff behind the counter was indeed professional, prompt and welcoming. After signing some documentation, and asking for some directions in the neighborhood, we were given the KEYS to our room. My oh my, the room we opt for was the Kitchenette Suite NONSMOKING, I like. I like it very much not only its spacious, its indeed affordable for our pockets. Once we enter this room, Hubs told me he does not mind, staying here if we return to Kelso, WA for a visit. The bed is so comfy and I like. I smiled ear to ear. In the mornings, they provide the norm Continental breakfast menu, in which I am able to grab on the go coz of what we need to do etc etc.. Breakfast Items such as bagels, muffins, cereals, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, juices, milk etc etc and a place for you to just chill out. So the next time around when we stay here in Kelso, WA, DEFINITELY I would love to explore more on what this Guesthouse Inn & Suites can offer and will offer. read more

For the price ($140) this place was a disappointment. The room was ok but the walls were so thin that it never really felt quiet. There were only two thin towels privided and we were constantly being awoken by street traffic or the local train. I would not recommend it unless nothing else is available. read more

We have used, and enjoyed many a hotel/motels over the years, however, this visit to the GuestHouse was extraordinary! The first step into the lobby was great with a deep and sincere hello and during check-in, we could feel the desire to make us comfortable and appreciated. Check-in was so simple, we were done in minutes, and on our way to a super clean, and comfy room. The room greeted us with a clear, clean whisp of fresh air and a sense of complete cleanliness. Our minds were simply boggled by the orderliness and comfort as we explored the room. We found everything so inviting. The linen was so crisp and the bed was, oh so, rightly firm, while the pillows were, again, oh so, rightly fluffy and contouring and the mini-kitchen on added a 'creamy' layer to the dreamy comfort we were experiencing. While we were visiting during the 'virus,' and missed the breakfast period, we can only imagine that this would have made our stay even more spectacular. The location was also quite convenient, being in a mall area, next door to a grocery store and a hope and skip to a department store, we had access to pretty much everything we wold need. All-in-all, this has been the best stay we have had, anywhere in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, or Missouri. This hotel was a great experience for me. At check in I asked the friendly lady working where I should eat. She had multiple suggestions. I took one of them and had a delightful dinner. When I came back to hotel after dinner my room hadn't cooled of with the air on high cool. The lady at the front desk remedied the sotuation immediately and gave me a room two doors down. There are clean and convenient pool and hot tub right next to feont desk. A large breakfast buffet with make your own waffles, biscutis, gravy, sausage, yogurt, cereal, egg omelette, and breakfast burritos. The parking is safe and well lit. The bathrooms have soaps and hair supplies from bath and body works. Too many channels on the cable TVs. Also, conveniently located next to a JCPenney, Pier One, Target, Starbucks all in walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

A lovely hotel. Needed a place to stay while our place was getting painted. Since we don't have any friends or family in the area, we opted to get a Hotel for the night. Ended up getting the jacuzzi suite. We weren't disappointed! The tub was big enough for the both of us. The room had a gas fireplace and large flat screen TV. Not to mention it's a pet friendly hotel! Only two things we didn't like about the room. #1. The bed was too hard for us. #2. A little on the pricey side for a Tuesday. All in all we loved our stay! Very ugly room and very uncomfortable bed. The breakfast is actually quite nice, coffee ok but only two kinds of sugar for it. For some reason they want to put a fleece blanket in between two top sheets which is really awful when you're trying to sleep. They are trying to be something better than they are and if given a choice , i would definitely stay at a Comfort Inn or Best Western instead ....even a Super 8 would be better than this place read more

I stayed a coupe of nights at the Comfort Inn prior to moving into the Guesthouse because the Guesthouse was completely booked for a conference. Prior to my check in, the staff was extremely helpful about trying to get me in as requested. I finally moved over as soon as our schedules collided. Not only was the Guesthouse big, accommodating, clean and friendly, but it was much quieter than other Kelso hotels that are along the freeway. The Three Rivers Mall serves as a nice noise buffer, providing a quieter experience where I could have my window open and not have to listen to trucks and trains flying by all night long. The keepers of this hotel have done a fantastic job with their service and have brought in extra touches like flowers and landscaping. They went out of their way to make me satisfied as a long-term business guest and also offered my coworkers a similar deal. Upon leaving to move to the next town I was asked to work, I begged the staff of the Guesthouse to come along with me. I did not want to go. read more

The GuestHouse Inn & Suites has convenient access to the freeway and area restaurants. While the building exterior and lobby aren't very welcoming, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast they serve is similar to that offered by most chains. Unfortunately, we experienced an unpleasant event during our stay. While we were out, someone directed housekeeping to enter our room in search of a phone charger a previous guest claimed they left behind. What was taken was two of our chargers, which we discovered upon our return. After contacting the front desk to report the theft, one of the chargers was returned but the other could not be found. When we requested reimbursement, we were told by the front desk they were not authorized and would have to contact the manager. The manager did not authorize the reimbursement, refused to come in, and said she would contact us the following morning to handle it. So far we have not heard from the manager. read more

On our road trip from southern Oregon to Kelso, Washington, we had a tire blow out on I-5. We were stuck until AAA and we could communicate (tricky cell phone service) and we got a tow to a tire store. We had to buy two very expensive tires for our SUV. By then, two hours had passed. We were forced to cancel the trip due to the unexpected tire expense and trip delay. My cell phone service was so poor, I could not contact our hotel. As soon as we got back home, I called the Guesthouse Inn directly to cancel our reservation. I was told I would be charged for tonight, since we had missed the deadline to cancel (yesterday!). I explained the situation, but no leniency was extended. We will not stay at a Guesthouse Inn again. No customer service. read more

Regarding the Kelso, WA location.. 2 stars Except for one thing (details below) I would only give this hotel 1 star. Upon checking in we got to our room Saturday evening (rm 320) and walked into what was CLEARLY a smoked in room. The smell of cigarette smoke was ridiculously pungent . I went to the front desk and they confirmed it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Unfortunately due to several events in the area, the hotel was booked solid and there was no option of switching rooms. Housekeeping was informed and they attempted to spray the room with what they claimed was a "smoke-eater" spray and Fabreeze as well as open the room window. We left to go to dinner with several others who we're in our group (they were also staying in the hotel....a total of 5 rooms between all of us) and we're gone for several hours but upon our return, the smoke smell had returned as well, although slightly less potent. As we knew there were no other options at the hotel for accommodations, we turned in for the night....only to find even the pillows even smelled of smoke!! Shortly after going to bed, my son unfortunately became ill (don't know if it was in reaction to the smoke smell, he is quite sensitive to odors and suffers from a wide variety of environmental allergies). He was unable to make it fully into the bathroom before getting sick . The front desk gal (this is where the hotel earned themselves the extra star) was soooo nice, we asked for extra towels so I could clean up the mess, but instead she came to the room and helped clean it up, which was no small task. The next morning (Sunday) we noticed additional faults in the room....peeling/missing areas in the decorative wallpaper border, a significant cigarette burn (measuring about 1 1/2") on the bathroom counter and a shower curtain rod that was coming away from the wall, making it difficult to keep the curtain closed while showering. Next time we are in the area (which usually we are every few years for the event that brought us there this weekend), it will be EXTREMELY unlikely we will return to this hotel. Note: when we checked out, the gal at the front desk said that she did not have the authority to apply any type of room discount (and frankly with the level of smoke smell and other conditions of the room I am expecting a full refund) but that she would "leave a note for the manager who will be in tomorrow (Monday) and she would see what she could do". I requested that the manager call me as well. I will update this post when I receive that call with that the outcome was. read more

This place is pretty awesome. Stayed with my husband and 6 year old just for fun. I had remembered it from when I was younger my parents had stayed here. Upon arrival the front desk clerk allowed us to check in two hours early and switched our room for the same price to accommodate our son. She was absolutely wonderful. Woke up this morning to check out the breakfast that's included. I was impressed. There were waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, muffins, fruit, bagels, cereal two kinds of juice, yogurt and much more. For 80$ this place was great. I would classify this place as a middle of the road hotel. For the area, probably one of the better options. Rooms was nice. People at the front deck helpful and fun. The morning breakfast rush wasn't well planned for crowds with everyone trying to get into a small area at at the same time. The food offerings were okay. Had the make your waffle and that was good. It is all you can eat and one lady ate the entire tray of sausage - said she was taking to her room for her family. The rest of the guests had to wait for a refill. AC worked fine the nights we were there. Close to freeway and easy in/out into the town. Would consider it again. read more

This is a clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. The beds are very comfortable with quality sheets and blankets. Clean yes. But that's about about it. Your standard sterile corporate econo motel. Tho the kitchenette was nice to have. Now the downside. First, anyone who calls this a "deluxe breakfast" clearly believes McDonalds is fine dining. Pretty bad. Also, the motel is on the edge of a parking lot. One side of it, the side we ended up on, is a few feet from the street. And there is a sliding glass door that faces it! Traffic is passing by 10' from your pillow. If you stay here, ask for the parking lot side. And plan on Starbucks for breakfast. read more
