Friendly service, a party of 5 waking in late afternoon on a Saturday, no wait & not busy at all, located downtown area, with lots of parking, but the trick is to find one, especially if it's Busy. No matter where you park, enjoy the stroll because there's plenty of shops, restaurants & people passing by, where you won't even mind the walk. Lots to offer on the menu & seems like reasonable pricing for the portions & food. Everything we ordered has its own unique flavor & be careful, because if you don't know what you're there for, you'll end up over ordering stuff, because it all looks good.

combo: beef bulgogi with soup and ban chan

SUMMARY: Great service and food was great, I'd come back again. (Note, review is based on a one time visit.) SERVICE: Came here on a Wednesday early evening to let traffic die down before hitting the road. I got seated immediately and the lady server was so sweet and polite. FOOD: I ordered a combo, beef bulgogi and tofu soup. Bulgogi was a tender, thin slices of beef, with the right-blend of soy sauce and sweetness. I cleaned the plate! Soup was good too, I ordered mild but they prepared it with 0 level of spicy. I'm glad though that they gave me the spicy paste on the side because without it was not good , it was bland. The combo also comes with banchan - love the regular kimchi and radish kimchi, well fermented. They also have corn dogs. I'll try it next time. SPACE: Big enough. Casual. Clean. BATHROOM: Clean. PARKING: Street parking is available but there is a parking structure nearby, free.

Delicious!! I highly recommend the fried drumsticks. It's probably some of the best fried chicken that I've ever had. It was juicy...yet crispy on the outside and the sauce that it was tossed and was out of this world. Very flavorful. Since this was only my second time trying Korean food I asked the server some questions because I wasn't sure what to expect. The server was very kind, they explained to me what Banchan was and how to pair it to enhance the flavor of the short ribs that I ordered. Serving sizes are large and can be shared between 2 to 3 people. Considering the serving sizes I think you get a good value for your money. The establishment is clean, it's a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your meal. Highly recommend!

Loved it here! Downtown Livermore and was craving that warmth of Korean food. Really bright, clean inside! Friendly staff! But said it was what she wanted!

Have come several times now and tried a variety of dishes, all 10/10. Their banchan side dishes are particularly tasty. Don't miss the lunch specials in the last page of the menu. A bit on the pricey side for a single meal but the portions are quite large. Both pork and beef bulgogi are tasty, fried chicken is crunchy and juicy on the inside, and today I tried the pork katsu with cheese which I would definitely get again. Only issue is that the inside of the restaurant occasionally smells a bit of sewage. They seem to manage it better than the previous business that was here did but it still is an unpleasant surprise when it hits you.

Long overdue but here it goes. I came on a Sunday evening after coming from a baseball game. Needless to say, I was exhausted, thirsty and hungry lol I was immediately seated and I got lucky because 20 mins after it turned into a wait. I order the bibimbap and a side of gimbap. It was good. The food was tasty. Is it the best Korean food I've had? No. However it hit the spot. I like their choice of banchan dishes. The cucumber kimchi was nice and refreshing (again I was super dehydrated lol) Service was good. They were prompt on waters and I appreciated the bottle that was served at my table.

They got a lot going on, but everything they do. They seem to do really well.

A wise person once said the best things in life come out of the detours. On our way back from Tahoe, we found this little gem. It's so cool to see a younger generation of people who want to get in the restaurant business. The taste is good and clean. But it's also very unique. The fried chicken and the Katsu are on point. I wish they had a couple of extra side dishes, but it's nothing to complain about refills were bountiful.

The service was very friendly! Food was very good. We really liked how the food tasted fresh and not oily/greasy. We'll be back soon to try other food on the menu!

1 sauce for 30 pieces....which includes 5 drumsticks lol

Ordered close to 40 pieces of chicken (30 pieces with no glaze, sauce on the side). This is what I received for sauce lol. 1 sauce pack for 30 pieces of chicken (5 were drumsticks lol) Nah, first time here & last time. Im gonna make the drive to Vons or bonchon next time.

Came in on a Saturday night and I was not disappointed! Tried the tofu soup (mild), beef bulgogi, which came with rice and bonchon. We also got the half ordered of fried chicken. Everything was amazing! The tofu soup was a bit spicy (for kids) even when it was mild. But I would get it again, it was sooo tasty and hit the spot. Staff is kind and accommodating and the space is so clean! I will definitely be back!

ban chan and kimchi tofu soup...
Kartika H.

first time here and will say place is ok and staffs are so attentive. for foods: 1. kimchi tofu soup: they serve it very hot in temperature and love it!!! the taste of kimchi not that strong and neither sour. blending perfectly and taste is so good. just a thought: may be next time dropping the egg in front of us cause i prefer easy yolk. when it comes to us, it has been fully cooked 2. roll pork katsu: recommended for katsu lovers. the cheese melts perfectly and it serves with great taste of salad 3. ban chan: love them all except the macaroni cause i am not a macaroni fans ~ lol... very recommended korean restaurant in livermore and i will visit again for sure...

I honestly had pretty low expectations coming here, and it honestly did surprise me in a good way. The food was all pretty yummy - we got bossam, galbi and tofu soup. The bossam and galbi were all pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend the tofu soup. For some reason, it just tasted like spicy water, not much depth or seafood or egg taste. The wait staff were all nice and very attentive. So I definitely would still come back, if I were looking to find a Korean restaurant in Livermore, but would definitely try different items off the menu!

Clean, quickly greeted and seated, good selection of dishes on the menu. I got the beef Bulgogi and my daughter got the gimbap. The bulgogi was served on a sizzling plate in a large portion, with a side of rice. It was very tasty! My daughter inhaled her gimbap, but I was lucky enough to snap a picture before it disappeared. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the mood for Korean food.

Here's a polished 5-star Yelp review that still sounds like you:…read more Nakia and I had a great experience at Sauced BBQ in Livermore! We started with the fried pickles, and they were absolutely amazing--crispy, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. For our meal, we shared the chopped tri-tip salad, and the staff was kind enough to split it for us, which we really appreciated. We also ordered the Bumpkins egg rolls, and I have to say... they are a must-try! They were absolutely delicious. For drinks, we tried the Sauced Favorite cocktail flight for $20. They were just okay, but we also had two shots of Crown Royal, which definitely hit the spot. Our total came to $109, which wasn't bad at all considering everything we ordered, including the drinks. The restaurant was clean, nice and cool inside, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We'll definitely be back the next time we're craving some good BBQ!

PSA: They no longer serve potato salad (!)…read more I was craving for some good ol' American potato salad (it was July 4th weekend) to go with my BBQ.. to my surprise, they took it off their menu! Other potato options were waffle fries or a whole baked potato - not the same as potato salad IMO. Brussel sprouts 5/5 - Glazy and crunchy. I definetly would recommend this as a starter. Chicken wings 5/5 - We ordered sauce on the side. They were good even without it. The chicken was so juicy, actual chicken juice and not oil. Ribs 4/5 - Tender, would order this again. Brisket 4/5 - Tender, would also order this again. Burnt ends 3/5 - Just meh. Could be just a personal preference though. Tri-tip 2/4 - It was dry and tough. I would skip this next time. Corn bread 4/5 - It was a good side to have to balance all the meatiness. Mac n cheese 4/5 - Very rich and cheesy. Service 5/5 - Our server was attentive and refilled our group's drinks plenty of times.

A great time! I came…read morehere with a group of friends on a Friday night. I had a much different experience than those described in the other reviews. This bar was nothing near quiet and chill when we swung by. It was more of a frat basement vibe (which I actually found quiet endearing). This place is super tiny. When I came, all the chairs/furniture were pushed to the side to make room for a dance floor. The DJ played frat classics like 'Mo Bamba' and somehow created an energy where everyone was being perfectly carefree and dancing all over the place. Everyone was cramped up in the tiny dancefloor but still had enough room to move around and get to the bar. There was a pool table that was covered off to the side and some games lined up on the wall (to likely be used on a more casual and lowkey night). They had a bunch of security. They had guards at the entrance, by the DJ, and at the back door (that I think led to an outdoor patio). I'm not sure if this makes me feel reassured or concerned that they feel the need to have so much security. To me, the drinks were average. I ordered a Vodka Cranberry and felt that it was mostly just cranberry juice. The bartenders were friendly and quick. The prices weren't too bad either. I would definitely come back!

A unique dive bar-- calm & quiet…read more I am new to the area and stopped in with a friend and we were the only patrons who were NOT solo. Different scene than other dives- seemed to be a local watering hole for an after work spot on the way home. The TVs played a mixture of a subtitled movie and some obscure sports. As a woman, this was a cool dive bar to exist in without attention. All patrons sat in peace on their phones. Decor is a mixture of Packers // 49ers gear... guessing this is a fun place to visit for a game!

The place was loud and lively - great ambiance for watching a sports game or a casual night out. Menu had typical Americana and good came out in a reasonable amount of time - overall, solid food and drinks. In-house we haven't had much issue, but I don't know what's going on with door dash/delivery orders. Almost every time, there's an issue. My littles absolutely love the mini corn dogs, and even though the listing says "with fries" they've suddenly stopped delivering with fries for the past few months ( and don't allow customer notes.) It's also a 50/50 chance the mini corn dogs will be dark and hard... I have a sensitive stomach with dietary restrictions, so I find great comfort that I can get the seared ahi tuna tacos while my husband enjoys a hamburger... but the last few orders have been so wrong. Once I was missing avocado, next I was missing the sauce, and this time my tuna was completely raw, not seared with hard jasmine rice and very tiny avocado slices. I always put input in to DoorDash, but I don't think it's getting to the restaurant... and it's reached a point where I feel like I have to leave this review and maybe find a new go to for quick family dinners. I enjoy visiting, the staff is always so kind and the kids like the back patio. Perfect vibe for a laid back dinner.. but why are the to-go orders so terrible suddenly? Absolutely heartbreaking.
