Food is amazing! It's well done and tastes like how my mom makes it. There's a ton of side dishes they give out at the beginning of the meal and they were all really high quality! The kimchi radishes were perfection. Food came out in a timely manner. It was really good! The portions were huge so we had plenty to take home for leftovers. Overall I think this place deserves a higher rating. Don't let the lower stars fool you. This place is a real gem.

The Bossam here is amazing!! One of the few places in the area that still serves bossam. The small size was perfect for two people and came with radish kimchi. Fast service and servers were so nice :-) The fried chicken was good, but not anything amazing. We came here as a group of 2 on a weekday night and it was not very busy. Clean restaurant and good for small or large groups. Would definitely come back here to try everything else on their menu!

We've been here a couple of times, the Ladies in the restaurant are very friendly & nice . The food that we have tried is delicious , our favorites are probably the Bulgogi & Japchae , we tried the spicy pork which is really good & spice is perfect that it doesn't blow your socks off or sweat to death from the heat of spices . LOL ! Love all the little side dishes they're all so delightful. The place looks retro but it is very clean there's a Von's Chicken attached to the restaurant but my husband says it only for take out only. Maybe one day we will order Von's chicken . You'll see us again we love the food here so good !

Sooooo good!!!!! Soy bean stew/soup. Sizzling!

As a Korean (picky eating family) this place is legit! I don't know why the reviews are so low. Don't believe the smoke. Food is awesome and the service is great from our experience. Korean food is priced this way cause of all the extra side dishes you get. It's our favorite place to eat with guests and our own family. Spoke with the manager here and they really survived some storms and bad customers (not they are perfect either), but let's support small business! Please be nice and don't believe all the negative reviews. Ps they not only do Korean bbq but also fried chicken!!!!!!!! Come on now - not stingy with the sides either.

Absolutely incredible Korean food -- felt like a warm hug in restaurant form. I can't stop thinking about the japchae and galbi -- both were absolutely phenomenal. The japchae was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with that amazing chewy texture. And the galbi? Fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. But what truly sets this place apart are the sides -- every single one of them was delicious. You know how usually there's one or two standouts? Here, every dish was something I'd go back for. The banchan are clearly made with care, and it shows. And the people -- just the kindest, warmest staff you could ask for. Eating here felt less like going to a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home for a lovingly prepared meal. Can't wait to come back.

Came here on a Friday night and there were plenty of tables. We opted for grilling at our own table! Lots of unlimited banchan . Love the eggplants and the waitress refill it when we run out! We order the beef combo. There were 3 different types of beef. We had lots of left over and I think it can serve at least 4 ppl. We also ordered the seafood pancake. It was good and crispy! It's not cheap but for what it is in the Bay Area, it's an option if you are up for some Korean bbq!

Saturday lunch with girlfriend, we decided to talk about BTS and Yoongi over some bbq. The place is in the old big lot plaza next to golden sand dim sum. Small little place but clean. We were there at 11:30 so we were actually the first guests. We had the $99 beef combo, with the bean base soup. It was proven that the meat was too much for the 2 of us. The short ribs were nicely marbled. We had a couple pieces of bulgogi then had to pack the rest up. The banchans were decent and we asked for more kimchi. Overall it was a good experience but really nothing to write home about, especially if you have had Korean bbq in LA...

Food safety issue.Highly disappointed. This is how I received my door dash order. Pictures attached. Box Open. Food exposed. Not even bagged. This is exactly how it was left at my door. Would you eat ? Is it safe to eat from an Open box delivered food ?

Had to take some home

I've only eaten here once before for their fried chicken wings and Japchae which we ordered for pick up. This time we came for the Korean BBQ. The restaurant is spacious. Lots of tables. Nothing fancy. The tables looks big but if you're grilling your own food, then you lose table space. I didn't think we ordered a lot but for a party of 5 sitting on a 6-top, it got tight. Service was good. They checked on us frequently. Food arrived timely. I love the banchan they served. We didn't get as much variety as other Korean places I've eaten at. I was hoping for pickled cucumber. Otherwise, they were good. We ordered: Whole Fried Chicken - we ordered this "medium" and it was too spicy for me. Great crunch! Great flavor! Vegetable Japchae - Good. Love these noodles. Vegetable Pancake - large serving Spicy Tofu Soup - It was so spicy the soup was RED! To grill: Spicy Pork - not too spicy. Good flavor. Galbee Ssal - I had high hopes but it was just okay. If you don't know, you wouldn't know to ask for lettuce to eat with the grilled meats. You wrap some rice and the meat in giant lettuce leaves, then enjoy. Thankfully my daughter's boyfriend is half Korean so he showed us how to eat the meat how it's meant to be eaten. Overall the food was good, and the service was decent. We plan to return.

The food here is amazing, especially the fired chicken we had. The table is super spacious not like other Korean BBQ places. Service was fast and friendly as well. We ordered a combo of meats, galbi, brisket and short ribs. We also had soft tofu soup, which was alright. I can wait to come back to try more dishes.

Front reception of the restaurant

Rude customer service...place was dirty and it smells like old dirty rag as you can see on the pic(dirty bench). Don't waste your money here, plenty of other Korean BBQ in the area that has better service and cleaner settings.

We ordered the bossam with soybean soup and their fried chicken and it was delicious. Food here is always good and came out so fast. The servers were amazing and would definitely come back. I don't understand the bad reviews. Highly recommended!!

We stumbled upon this small shop in a seemingly sketchy, empty parking lot and honestly wondered if we made a mistake at first. But once we walked in, the place was almost full at 5 PM--mostly with Korean-speaking customers, which is always the ultimate green flag. We were so blown away! This was easily one of the best Korean meals we've had in the Bay Area. It's authentic, salt-of-the-earth home cooking. The Soups: The Seolleongtang and Galbi Gomtang were totally legit. The broths had amazing depth and were incredibly flavorful. Seafood Pancake: One of the absolute best I've ever eaten. Super crispy and crunchy on the outside, and soft and tender with tons of flavorful seafood on the inside. The Banchan: They serve 10 different tasty dishes for banchan! Total score. Portions are large and the pricing is very decent. It's a bit out of the way if you're coming straight from SJ, but we are absolutely keeping this place in mind whenever we're heading up north toward the East Bay! Highly recommend.

You have 5 meats to choose from and a variety of broths. The only split pot option is for the original broth and spicy (glad we got less spicy). I personally favor the tomato broth and tom yum broth. Standards are lower since it's $19.99 AYCE, so nothing to complain about for quality of meat. The spicy beef was a popular reorder. They have a huge selection in the raw ingredient bar, and we loved the quail egg, ramen, and spongey tofu. All the veggies were fresh. Top off with soft serve (chocolate, vanilla, mixed) either in a cone or to-go cup and you basically don't even need to eat dinner. Service was speedy, and our server graciously moved us from a booth to a communal table since our party of 5 was a tight squeeze in a booth. We all shared one split pot LOL I've come here for dinner before and still thought the selections were worth their price points (classic is $33.99 and deluxe is $41.99). Your meal is free on your birthday!

I hadn't been back in years until yesterday, when my usual spot was closed and my mother and I stopped by out of convenience. Unfortunately, the experience reminded me why I hadn't returned. The customer service was lacking -- we were never checked on during our meal and I had to repeatedly look for an employee to request a refill of a banchan and later, flag someone down when I was ready to pay. To make matters worse, I was surprised to find that the kimchi fried rice did not include any protein. Charging $20 for kimchi fried rice without any meat or protein is cruel and poor value for the price... I cannot stomach paying high prices for mediocre food and inattentive service. I will not make the same mistake of coming back again.
