I bought a new vehicle and over the course of a month, i started noticing more and more flaws of this dealer. First off is the Toyota service center. When I bought the vehicle, it was never detailed. It took them at least (and I'm NOT exaggerating) 5 times to get it right. Well almost if they didn't scratch up my vehicle. There's scratches throughout the vehicle and when I called about it, the general manager said that about a hundred cars go there a day without scratches. A hundred. So it has to be my fault. And even when they got it right, their dirty mechanic got into my car with white leather and left their oil stains. Great detailing service. I would've looked over this if they didn't screw up my window as well. There is a group of confined scratches where the stickers were at at the time of purchase. And what was I told? That it's already been so long since it happened and it could've been me. Right. And so I leave this note to whoever would like a new vehicle or even service done to their car. I recently had an unexpected experience at Gulf Coast Toyota. I had a service done at Gulf Coast that had to be corrected at another dealership. To be fair, I planned on addressing it with Gulf Coast, but never got around to it. I recently returned to Gulf Coast for a similar service, and remembered the previous experience. Jennifer in service was very patient in allowing me to vent. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, Jennifer brought me to Jesse to resolve the outstanding issue. Jesse went out of his way to make things right. The resolution went well beyond what I would have considered a satisfactory gesture by Gulf Coast to retain me as a customer. Personally I need to remember that dealerships do incredible volume, and that communication is hard in such an environment. I have had some issues with both Toyota, and at individual dealerships, over the years, and all my issues have been resolved in a manner that makes me proud to be a loyal customer. My wife and I had an amazing experience at Gulf Coast Toyota. Their entire team is very professional, practical, and no non-sense. We researched and found the exact Highlander we wanted, with just the right features, trim level, color, and interior, without any needless extras we didn't want. James Pipkin and Mike Mylius connected us with Alex Martinez and Anthony Rivera to work out the details and test the vehicle. Processing paperwork has never been easier, Nicholas Bartimmo had the latest electronic document signing tabletop technology to make it quick and painless. While we waited for the car to be washed and filled up (yes they give you a full tank of gas), we had a bite to eat at the The Grill - their on-site restaurant - and probably their best resource, as nobody wants to get hangry while buying a vehicle :) Everyone we met was kind, polite, and sincere. Never has a car buying experience been so quick and easy - totally hassle-free. We took care of almost all of the details via email and text so everything was ready for me when I got to the dealership to sign the paperwork. I initially was looking at a used car on-line, but Tanner McEvoy found a much better fit for me in a 2018 Camry. I could not be happier with this purchase and will never buy from anyone else! I truly believe this is one of the only Toyota dealerships I can truly TRUST!!! I have had all my repairs and maintenance done there for at least 10 years. My mother purchased her car there and has had all her repairs done there as well. Service department is not good. Mechanics do good work, but the up front people are terrible. They just don't want to be bothered by the customer, and really don't care if you don't have a vehicle for a week or not. They talk about customer service, but it's empty talk. I've already started going back to TJ's and I aint looking back. It was so bad I probably won't even consider then when buying my next vehicle. read more
