This guy Paul is typical TV repairman crook. A week after returning from my tour in Afganistan I took my older model box TV(not flatscreen) to his shop. I unloaded it from my truck & told him about the problem, he informed me that he needed a $25 estimate fee that would be taken off the repair total once it was repaired. I didnt really wanted to part with a fee upfront because I know about shady business' like this, but I did. WHAT A MISTAKE! He took down my name & phone number. 2 months later, NO CALL BACK. I stop by his shop and he has no type of filing or organization in his pig-stied, thick cigarette smoke riddled, shop. I had to find the TV and point it out. I asked him why he hasnt called me & he says hes still looking for a part which he cant find because the TV is old, blah, blah, blah...(it wasnt too old to shake me down for the initial $25 though). So he says to give him a coiuple of weeks & he'll call me back. 1 month down the road & NO CALL BACK. I stop by the shop again & its the same snake-oil salesman song and dance. He tells me to give him 2-3 more weeks. 1.5 months down the road, same story except this time he comes to the door wheezing and claims hes been sick. This time he claims he called me & didnt get me on the phone, so I ask him why he didnt leave a message & he gives me the dumbo look like hes never heard of an answering machine. Same story, give me two weeks...so 1 month later I stop by, he acts like he doesnt recognize me, except that I pull out my initial quote receipt and then he remembers who I am. This time after searching, and searching he realizes the TV isnt there, he gives me a story how I left it there too long and he wasnt responsible, and that perhaps it was at his storage, but bottom line, HE DIDNT HAVE TO PRODUCE IT because I left it there over 30 days. WHAT ?! So I ask him where my $25 is and he tells me it was an estimate fee and that wont be returned either. And I tell him, "an estimate for what, you never did anything?" So, Im on the verge of dropping this fat wheezing POS with a shot to the face when he tells me that if I want I can report him to the Better Business Bureau, but he aint giving me anything. So he basically robbed me of my TV and $25 Call this shop at your own risk, but dont say you havent been warned. This guy is a low-life scammer. He really deserves ZERO stars, but the system wont let me. read more

I can't count how many times I have been to this little no nonsense shop. I always received the best of care and I knew that everything Paul ( co owner) told me was on the up and up., I didn't feel like I was being treated unfairly in any ways and was spoken to using common terms I could easily understand. I learned a lot from them and I am happy I found them to service to me. Ghey also make house calls for larger tvs and they ca. pick up and drop off finished service work too. I went online and found Gulfport Tv. I wanted To get some repair work done on my wide screen projection t.v and this company helped me out right away. I called on Tuesday morning and Paul came out Tuesday afternoon . He was so helpful and professional . When Paul came over to my apartment , he went right to work and did my repairs while I waited (less then 1 hr) How about that for service. I had taken my 50 inch visio led tv to another shop 1st.they had it 4 weeks and they couldn't fix it.So I called a couple tv shops and finally decided to take my tv to Gulfport.When I got there I talked to an older man,owner?.He explained about fees and what might be wrong.I left tv and he called next day with price and I ok;d.following morning was ready to pick up.price was fair and man was very nice.I want to say I would tell my friends to use them. read more

My husband and I were very impressed with Gulfport TV. Our 70" Sony went on the blink and we called Gulfport TV mainly because we live there and it was close. Paul and his staff exceeded our expectations. Our TV was repaired in a couple of days, much quicker than they told us. The price was reasonable and the people very nice. What more could you ask for. I brought them a Samsung 55 only a couple of years old. Hurricane Irma power surges in Naples (where the tv was), stopped it from working. Their communication was great. They fixed the flat screen and it works just like new. They saved me from having to purchase a new flat screen and they did it quick and were personable. Called in the am,52 inch lcd tv they came out 2 hours later installed a software update and repair our problem.other shops said had to go to shop,and would need parts and labor of 400 dollars.this shop charged 50.00 house call pls 50.00 dollars.WOW a big difference.Saved at least 300.00 dollars.I highly would recommend this repair shop. read more
