I am very happy with the customer service I received at Gul's! They are very helpful and polite when explaining car issues. This is really appreciated because it can be very intimidating for a woman to go to a mechanic shop. I didn't feel the least bit intimidated and I was treated with respect. They are honest and upfront about their prices, which are really fair and no hidden fees. They offer many services like smog checks and oil changes. They also have a mobile glass guy that can work on your car at their shop. I told them my nephew recommended them because he had his truck's AC repaired there and I was surprised they remembered his name and the reason he came in! That is rare these days! Their new location is nice. The waiting room is huge. They have a nice TV and coffee is available. I will be coming here for all my car needs from now on! read more

A few days after Christmas, I was stuck in Lodi again...I had a radiator leak and couldn't have gone much further in my Jeep & had to check around town for availability for it to be serviced ASAP. Most places (including Gul's) said it would be at least a week to get to it. So, the best I could at least do was to add coolant and try to make it home. The mechanic at Gul's noticed how defeated I looked as I opened the hood. He walked back over to me saying "I can take a minute, let me help". He noticed the cap was cracked and said he'd go ahead and do a pressure test within a few min if I'd wait. Well, this gentleman found the problem, replaced the hose and added new cap PLUS a badly needed oil change. A few hours later (that same day) I had my Jeep back and running beautifully. Gul's definitely helped me out in a pinch. I'm from Phoenix AZ, travelling through Lodi on a RV vacation. Had a car I towed along & the AC compressor went out. I showed up on a Tuesday morning at 9am, they said they could get it done that day & completed the work by 3pm. Even gave me a $10 discount on the bill. Gave me a ride that morning to try to get a rental car (none were available), so dropped me off in downtown Lodi with my handicap scooter to spend the day tasting wine & checking it out until my car was finished.
