Sometimes, they have mini-omelettes, which I have found to be very good. There is also a pancake machine that turns out great pancakes. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, but there is a Mexican restaurant across the street, as well as a coffee place. There is every fast-food chain imaginable on the same road as the hotel. There is also a Chili's that is short drive towards downtown. If you find yourself in or near Hastings, Michigan, you should (1) figure out why you are there; and (2) stay at this hotel.

Eggs or a pre-made omelet of some sort, a breakfast meat, breads for toasting, yogurts, fruit, juices and some pastries. The breakfast area was clean. Other than sharing a small plaza with a Denny's and a gas station/pizza place, there is nothing within walking distance. There is lots in downtown Marshall that's only a mile or two away.
