I came in to buy my first handgun and was quickly scooped up and placed under the wing of Brian. The level of detail and explanation he went through in guiding me to the perfect handgun was astounding. If you are new to guns, I would recommend asking for Brian. Sold me a shotgun a couple years ago (Hatsen) that I suspect had been returned prior to being sold to me. Also didn't advise that the plug could not be simply removed with the shotgun continuing to function properly. Needed a different spring and a special tool to remove it. Salesman misrepresented it as 870 knock of, which it is ,sort of. You don't need a tool to take a spring out of an 870. To be fair, I didn't go back. So I can't speak to the customer service aspect of the place. And I do remember the girl saying to the guy who sold it to me "You sold that?". That was a flag that I chose to ignore. I am not a person concerned about price. I could really care less. I want to know when I buy something that it will be taken care of and supported by the store I do business with. I'll be going to another store from here on out. I have been coming into the store for years. Lisa, the wife of Greg the owner, is super awesome and really know her stuff. I recently purchased a Beretta A400 from the store. After a few trips to the duck club the gun started jamming. I took the gun back to the store and explained what was happening. This is where it got Interesting. Greg happened to be in the store the day I came back with the problem. After dealing with Sebastian he stepped in to help. I explained what was happening. Since the gun was only a month old I assumed they could send it in to get fixed at the manufactures dime. Greg must have been in a bad mood as he started in on how this was all my fault and that he wouldn't be able to help me with my problem. He became irritated. I tried to deal with this place, but the guy that answered the phone was a real dick. I refuse to do business with a place that does not respect potential customers. I understand that gun stores are very busy during these uncertain times, but if you are going to take the time to answer the phone, at least be willing to help the person on the other end. My call was simple enough; "Do you have a Henry Classic in stock?" He replied that he did not have that rifle, but he had another Henry rifle that I had never heard of, and very condescendingly told me that it was in very high demand and would be gone soon. I asked if it was similar to the Henry Classic and he very rudely stated that he was way too busy to do my research for me. Well, I have bought three guns since then, and talked two other people into buying guns elsewhere. And everyone I tell my story to says something to the effect of "Come to think about it, they are not very friendly to me either." read more

We started going there right when the pandemic hit and we've made several purchases there in the past year. Gunther is the only gun store that hasn't raised their prices. If you look at other stores it's not uncommon to see glocks selling for $1,000+. Gunther didn't do this. They've kept their prices the same and they've stayed true to their customers.
