I had been seeing him for early COPD issues. He sent me on two different sleep studies (which I HATED) . The end results was a CPAC machine. (Which I also hated and still do). Then COVID 19 hit. I contracted it the first week of April, 2020. I never coughed but it totally effected my breathing. I survived, no hospitalization.... but one of the things that helped me get through it all were the medications he put me on -- and the CPAC machine he ordered me to get. It helped force air into my lungs at a time I REALLY needed it. He also spoke to me after I got sick and I was happy he did (it was via phone - they had to over Covid.) I'm no longer his patient due to unseen insurance issues (something I hope will be corrected) but if you are considering him, do it. Just overlook the bad decorating and the 'front office to doctor' delays, as he is worth the wait.

Doctor Jerry Hsieh excels at articulating pulmonary concepts. He is an incredible doctor who spent major league time with me. He listened attentively, answered all my questions and reviewed in detail my most recent Chest CT scan as well as related reports of previous treatment protocols, tests and procedures - high level of intellect combined with significant communicative abilities along with vast knowledge and experience - also is a very nice guy who truly cares about his patients.

They moved from Pasadena to Duarte a couple of years ago. Their office here is also a sleep lab, and it should be quite convenient to schedule a test here. (I did mine back when they were in Pasadena.) The above is a typical yelp review, but the most important thing here is that Dr. Young saved me! Two years ago, Dr. Young diagnosed my sleep apnea, and prescribed the right treatment for me (CPAP). My health improved dramatically, and as a consequence life has become fun again. If you are reading this review, then most probably you have some sleep problems. Don't wait! Get some treatment!

I've never felt rushed like with some doctors, and he encourages patients to ask lots of questions and isn't even bothered by patients reading up online (some doctors get annoyed or sometimes take it personally when you've done your homework ahead of time). I have referred friends to Dr. young and will continue to do so. Also, his staff is pretty great, I've never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen, they are friendly, and they're pretty together!
